Story
Frida would do best in a home with low activity. She loves her adventures outside.. going on walks and hikes, but while in her home Frida would like it to be peaceful and low energy. She would do best with another dog in the home and no with no small children or small animals. Frida is a sweetheart, but she scares easily. A more mellow home with less traffic would help her feel safer. If you have any questions or if you would like to set up an appointment to meet Frida please call 707-459-4900.

Since Obsidian has been at The Milo Foundation Sanctuary he has been able to learn some manners. He still shows sighs of being shy and nervous around strangers, but once he knows he can trust you Obsidian is a sweet loving boy. He does need to learn more manners along with some structure. Obsidian needs someone who will have time to spend with him and teach him. He would so best in a home with no children. Meet the 4 Seasons! Four delightful girls, eager and happily waiting for active, herding breed savvy homes able to provide a good amount of daily activity including off-leash running, training and stimulation. Autumn is the one brown and white, and most submissive and reluctant on leash in these early days. She is extremely sweet. These are smart, willing candidates, affectionate and charismatic, charming and cuddly. Attentive girls who will learn quickly and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities, learning tricks and pleasing their humans!

Story
Loki is a happy boy, playing with friends, running about, and giving hugs! He does better being outdoors in a fenced space, he likes most dogs after an introduction and chooses his playmates, typically other males it seems (that can be situational.) He and an old male Aussie and a young Great Pyr have a love triangle, wrestling, humping and chasing each other, they are super cute and silly, he has a strong bond to his buddies, both two-legged and four!! Loki takes his time to warm up to some, and is particular about handling and restraint, not taking it well from people he doesn't know. Loki has a healthy sense of adventure and not the best recall though when he has a runabout here at the Milo Sanctuary he comes back before long. A country life is definitely in order for him! He can be affectionate and gives great hugs. Loki has had physical and other forms of trauma in his life, Loki came to us with a badly broken tail/spinal injury, he's healed and happy guy given his own freedom of movement. He deserves a chance. A country home with adults. He is fine being a predominantly outdoor dog with a buddy. He does not like a harness. Come meet him at our sanctuary!

LOCATION: SANCTUARY IN WILLITS, CA Taz is a whirling dervish of happiness! He has a very smooth coat, floppy ears, long, skinny tail, long legs. Energy and enthusiasm to spare! Fun dog for active people, he loves to go swimming or just be around water. A running companion, training, consistency and lots of exercise this boy will make a great addition to the right home. Tall fences are a good idea as well. He loves to play a game of fetch that includes swimming. We took Taz to The Cat House, where cats lounge and hide out. He was very interested in the smells, and a little curious about the few cats he saw. He was not eagerly pulling on the leash, or extremely intent on the cats. We believe he would do well in a house with cats as long as they had a well-monitored introduction period. If you would like to know more about Taz or set up appointment to meet him please call 707-459-4900.

Story
Bean is a sweet, medium-energy girl with a playful side and a sharp mind. She’s a quick learner who already knows cues like “sit,” “down,” “wait,” and “leave it,” and she has great recall. Bean is housetrained, rides well in the car, and gets along with both dogs and cats. She can be shy at first and needs a little time to adjust to new people and environments, but once she feels comfortable, her fun and affectionate personality shines through. Bean would do best with dog-savvy children ages 13+ who understand how to give her space while she builds confidence. Bean enjoys staying active and engaged, and she’ll thrive with continued structure and positive reinforcement. Training classes will be required to help her keep building leash skills, as she can pull when excited. With patience, consistency, and love, Bean will make a loyal and rewarding companion. Her current foster shared with us the following about Bean: Bean is a very loving and playful dog. She loves to cuddle, play games and go on long walks and hikes. Bean is motivated to learn and enjoys training - she walks well on a leash, comes when called and knows the basic commands. She is comfortable off leash on a trail staying close by and will come sit when called as bikes or runners go by. She has grown up around cats, and wants to play with them, but still needs training not chase. She is well behaved with kids. Bean would do well in a place with a yard - she loves to sit in the sun on the back porch. She would also benefit from more training to behave well when visitors come to the door, when she hears noises and not to jump up when she is excited to see a friend. Bean can be anxious in new or noisy environments but has grown more relaxed over time. She loves mental stimulation, routine and regular activity - and she has a heart built to play and love.

Story
Hi, I’m Breezy! I was adopted from Jelly’s Place when I was a puppy 2 1/2 years ago, and I had a good home. But now, sadly my mom is passing from a terminal illness and I need a new home. I am being temporarily fostered, in a Board and Train with a great trainer and his 2 dogs who I love, but I need a long-term foster or better yet, my forever home! I am a good girl! I am very smart, eager to please, confident, friendly and I love all people. I never have accidents in the house or chew anything that is not mine to chew. I am an active dog who would love a yard to run around in. I am the perfect, medium sized dog, around 40 lbs; not too big and not too small. And I ride very well in the car. I love playing catch with my ball! I am incredibly good at it and catch them almost every time! I also love to run on the beach and play with lots of different dogs. I like to play rough and I sometimes make loud noises when I play. But that is my way of saying I am having a great time. I do get very excited and have been getting training so I don’t jump up on people, walk calmly on a leash and share my balls. But I am super smart so I am learning very fast. I go to the dog park with my new dog buddies all the time and we have so much fun! My ideal home would be an active family with older kids, a yard, another dog and an unlimited supply of balls. I hope my forever family will have plenty of time to play with me and teach me lots of new things since I really like that. If they give me treats, I would like it even more. I am spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and looking for a new family to love me. If I sound like I might be a good fit, please apply to meet me at www.jellysplace.org.

Story
Hi Everybody, I’m Bedtime Bear, but everyone just calls me Bedtime. I am a very adorable, active puppy. I LOVE playing with other dogs, especially Jitterbug, Boris, Mark, Airborne and my brother, Wish. I'd love a home with a big yard and another dog friend. I like to learn new things, especially if I get a treat for doing it right. I’m still learning manners & leash skills, but everyone says I'm doing great. I guarantee if you adopt me, life will never be boring. I have already been neutered, am up to date on my vaccines and have a microchip. If you want to meet me, please apply at jellysplace.org
