Story
Shade and Shadow are awesome dogs, and I am literally crying as I write this, but we need to give them up due to my wife having an unexpected health condition (my wife is currently admitted in the hospital as we speak). The dogs are around 6 months old. We got the duo about 3 months ago. They are up to date on all of their shots and have had regular vet visits. We are in Northern California (Benicia, CA, to be exact) and would love for them to stay together and go to a good home. They are very active dogs, and are sweet and kind. Shade (the dark female) follows you around like a puppy. Shadow (the white one with black spots) loves his belly rubbed. Both have been spayed/neutered. We need to home the dogs to a good home as soon as possible. Please reach out to me at xxxx@xxxx.x or text me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx if you are able to take them in.

Story
It's Violet, like the character from The Incredibles! This once very shy girl has blossomed! In one of the many recent trips to the Martinez Animal Shelter our volunteers stumbles across this diamond in the rough.  She was trapped as a stray and brought to the shelter where she completely shut down.  She had full mammaries meaning she had recently had puppies but they were no where to be found, maybe she was dumped.  Our volunteers saw something special in her and she became a CalPaws dog. Once in her foster home, it only took about a day for Violet to trust her new foster mom, within a couple more days she was wagging her tail and offering her paws for attention. Shortly there after she started running with the fur siblings (big dogs and a cat) and has never looked back, she now meets new people easily and gets so excited to see her family even if you were just out of the room for a minute! She has had a relaxing bath and is ready to meet her furever people! Violet is 100% dog, cat and kid friendly. She is fully house broken and uses a doggie door as for the other stuff, she is a blank slate and ready to learn!  ##2419048##

Story
Meet 1 year-old handsome Nathan! This sweet 46 pound boy came in as a stray to Oakland animal services were sadly he ran out of time and hope. With Shelter being max capacity and too many dogs a shy dog will just fall between the cracks. This sweet boy locked confidence at the shelter. He was shut down and terrified. Ever since getting into Foster he is now blossoming, happy and we know he has such a great personality. Just waiting to shine. He’s very dog friendly, both big and small and would thrive most in a home as a second dog where he had a companion and a confident leader. he loves to romp and play and is food motivated. He doesn’t appear to have any formal training and he’s only about two years young. Our best guess is that he is a border collie terrier mix is the perfect size and age for someone willing to train, commit to continued socialization and eager to see his success. he has an amazing Foster family who is working on all basic skills daily. If you’re looking for an active walking partner, he could be your buddy. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. Story
This adorable little girl is Lacey! Lacey is about 4 months old and a parvo survivor! She is the happiest puppy with tons of energy! We think she is a border collie mix with maybe a little lab in there too! She is a stocky little short stack that absolutely loves to play in the water… including her water bowl! Lacey is not quite housebroken but does use pee pads in her foster home. She adores other dogs and can be a little unsure around people, but is eager to learn how to trust! If you are interested in meeting Lacey please fill out an application at ozziespoundpuppies.org Her adoption fee is $300
