He still shows sighs of being shy and nervous around strangers, but once he knows he can trust you Obsidian is a sweet loving boy. He does need to learn more manners along with some structure. Here is a terrific combo of Herder (mom is a Border Collie) and likely Australian Shepherd and Guardian breed. The biggest of the litter, and the bossy one. He’s very handsome - but also big and dominant, not bad, just needs experienced owners, discipline and consistency. We are being careful with his placement because he is not a “first time dog”. Not a “bad pup” but one that will perhaps have problems in the home or with others if not properly trained and socialized. He doesn’t want to lay on his back, will posture and mount… though he is a sweet boy, and he will be wonderful with the right, experienced, dog-centric people, with plenty of space, able to provide daily ongoing training and plenty of off leash outdoor activities. With a good foundation, this will be an awesome companion!

Tony is a sweet, handsome, goofy, and energetic lovebug! He wants nothing more than to play with his people and other dogs. He seems completely unbothered by the loss of one of his front legs, this boy is ready for action and love! Tony has been a longterm resident, coming to Milo in February of 2025, injured, alone and afraid. He was quickly given the care that he needed, receiving a pricey leg amputation to diminish his paid. Despite the traumas that Tony went through, that we will never know and can probably never imaging, Tony keeps his tail held high not giving up on finding his fuever family. Tony sees every person and dog as a friend and potential playmate. He has learned how to navigate the world with his new body and to walk on a leash with good manners, he is getting really good at "sit". He is also quickly learning that his crate is a happy place and does very well once inside and loves a good chewy toy or treat. Tony would be best in a home with a person/people who will nurture him with lots of love, exercise and continued training; he so badly wants to show that he's the goodest three-legged boy ever! He is extremely food motivated so training should be fun and effective. Tony has endless potential and is ready to show the world that tripods rule! Apply today to meet this wonderful boy!

Meet Crosby! Crosby is a Catahoula mix who exudes energetic, joy and happiness. He’s a confident, intelligent pup who loves people and other dogs he’s met (so far), and his wonderful Catahoula nature offers a deep desire to please his humans, to love on them, and to be a part of the family. He’s still a young fellow who will need guidance, training, and structure to grow into an amazing, well-mannered adult, but he’s a very quick learner, and he’s looking forward to learning all this exciting stuff from a loving adopter like you! Crosby is very energetic and adventurous without being obnoxious, but he does require daily exercise (a large yard, toys, walks or hikes) to keep his mind and his body stimulated. Because he’s still young, energetic, and brand new to learning the ropes about manners and life, (like not jumping on people to say hello, for example), he would do best in a home without small children that he could easily knock over or accidentally scratch while playing.
