Crockett is a 3 year old Border Collie mix that weighs about 40 lbs. He is sweet, loving and very reserved. He is great during walks, stays by your side and doesn't bark unnecessarily. He is a shy dog. Loves attention and is housebroken. Gets along with other dogs, children and people. If you are looking for a quiet calm dog, Crockett is your dog. He is also crate trained. Crockett is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. Appointments to visit him will be set up for approved adopters only. Adoption fee is $300.00 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, and he is already neutered and microchipped. This boy was found with his sister wondering around a business and brought in to the shelter. He is very friendly and has no problems with other dogs. He has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. He is just a happy, playful pup who is needing a forever home. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. Remmy – The Splash King in Search of His People! Available for Foster or Adoption in Illinois Hi, world! I'm Remmy, short for Romulus... yeah, I know, it’s a mouthful! I ended up in the Bakersfield shelter where space was tight. The staff there loved me so much they kept moving me around to keep me safe. But time was running out. That’s when Angel Dog Alliance stepped in and gave me a second chance. Now? I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family! I’m a 1-year-old Border Collie/Shepherd mix, about 60 lbs of pure joy, and I’m neutered, vaccinated, and ready to roll. I’ve got big puppy energy! I love to run, play, and splash like crazy in the kiddie pool (you’ve been warned). My favorite thing? Making a big entrance with a splash and hopping around with my toys. Zoomies are my love language. I’m super friendly with people and haven’t met a stranger I didn’t like. I’d be happiest in a home with another doggy friend to wrestle and play with. I know how to sit, I can shake paw, and I walk well on a leash, even though I zig-zag because everything is just so interesting. I’m great with kids, especially older ones who won’t mind my enthusiasm. I might knock over tiny toddlers during a zoomie, so I’d do best with kids 5 and up. Cats? Hi there— nice to meet you! My name is Popcorn, and just like my name suggests, I’m full of bounce, energy, and a whole lot of heart. I’m about 50 pounds of what’s believed to be pure Border Collie (though no one’s sent in the DNA test yet!), and I’ve got the smarts, agility, and charm to prove it. I pick up commands incredibly fast — I already know sit, stay, paw, come, and more, and I’m always eager to learn new things. I also respond to the name ‘Hiro’, just in case you hear someone call that and I come running!I’m an athletic guy who absolutely needs space to move. I can jump really high, love to do zoomies, and thrive in a home with a fenced yard where I can stretch my legs and let my herding instincts kick in a little. Apartment life just isn’t for me. I love going on long walks, hiking, and car rides — basically, if it involves being active and outside with my people, I’m all in. I’m also very dog-social and enjoy playing with other pups. In large groups of dogs, I sometimes try to “herd” the fun (what can I say, I’m a working dog at heart), but I get along well with just about everyone— including cats!That said, I’m a bit of a sensitive soul. Small, unpredictable kids make me anxious, so I’d feel more comfortable in a home with older children or adults who understand I do best with calm energy and consistency. I’m crate trained and do well when I have structure. I don’t guard my food, and I’m very polite at mealtimes — I’ll even wait my turn without fuss. However, I do have a bit of a mischievous side: if you leave food on the counter or the trash unattended, I might just help myself. I’m working on it, promise!Despite my active nature, I’ve got a soft, cuddly side, too. I love snuggling up at the end of the day and being close to my people.
