Saffie (Saphire) is a sweet, friendly 18 week old Border Collie Mix ( Lab maybe? we really don't know) She is great with kids and her bff is her 6 year old foster brother. She is a great mix of puppy fun and snuggly calm. She loves the big dogs in her home and doesn't care about the cat at all. Saffie is housebroken and crate trained. Sarah is gorgeous. Here eyes are so brilliant, they almost look white. Sarah is very sweet and very tolerant. We are able to give her baths and trim her nails. She’s great with dogs.  Sarah is completely house trained. She can be left alone or at night uncrated. Sarah’s past is unclear. She was thought to be feral, but her extreme shyness seems to be rooted from human mistreatment. Sarah’s adopters must have a lot of patience and be willing to celebrate small successes in getting over her fears. Her age is the best guess. Sarah continues to make progress. She will come to bed with her foster parents. At work, she now allows many employees to pet her without running and hiding. Perfect home would be free of small children. She tolerates them, but it could slow her growth. Having other dogs in the house would be the best case for her but not necessary. She is great on a leash but regularly is off leash in the city or on the trails. Meet Lincoln....... Lincoln is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Border Collie Mix. Like Border Collies, he’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At age 3 months, he weighs 20 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of his adult weight, but our best guess is about 35-40 lbs. This handsome boy joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. He is thought to have been born around December 23 2022. He was a scared little puppy when entering our rescue program but has come out of his shell and has evolved into a playful, sociable, and somewhat mischievous boy. Lincoln is great with dogs but can be annoying to older, more well mannered dogs, and would be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Lincoln is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Lincoln to be his best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Lincoln is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). He is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations,is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. His neuter is included in his adoption fee. He doesn’t like to be in a kennel, but cannot be trusted alone in the house yet, as he likes to chew, like puppies do. He has had herding tendencies with small children, and will herd if you run. He would be a good companion dog to play with in the yard until he can be trained to walk properly on a leash. He is an escape artist when it comes to harnesses and collars while on leash.
