Story
Im needing to rehome our 6yr old boxer. I'm Recently, having to move in with my 2 disabled parents and unfortunately cannot keep her. She is a love bug, sweet , smart, goofy, wiggily , boxer. She loves toys and playing tug of war and fetch. She only sometimes brings it back though lol. She get along great with other dogs, in fact she would prefer to live in a house with another dog. She loves children of all ages. She is a bouncy, wiggly , leaner so i would recommend kids 8 and up so she doesn't knock them over ( on accident out of love) she loves cats she has lived with 3 different cats over the years. The cons...she is a foodie and will still food off the counter if left alone. She also, sometimes happy pees. When she first meets someone , if they get her really excited. I would recommend meeting new people outside. Once she knows you she won't do that anymore. Get in touch if you would like to meet her!

Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. Has some vision.Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats (see https://youtu.be/t_3b0r0n9LY ). But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies.I like to be active and meet people and other dogs (see https://youtu.be/9LG4Cy9_kJI ). However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nWkm8OssZU ). At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved (see https://youtu.be/Y_-7FDicj-M ).I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person.Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

* To be considered for a meet/adoption, please read the full biography to see whether they may be a good fit for your home, then submit an online application at www.dpsrescue.org. * This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 25th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event.   All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.   Adoption fee: $650   Meet the Summer Sips Puppies! Four refreshing little reasons to fall in love.   Born in the shelter but raised the safety of our rescue to adorable Mama Sunny D, a petite, low-rider Pittie mix, the Summer Sips puppies have spent their entire lives surrounded by love, good care, and plenty of opportunities to grow into confident, happy little pups. Now, at just 8 weeks old and weighing around 8–10 pounds (with one extra petite little sister!), they're ready to trade the nursery for forever homes.   Their days begin bright and early around 7 a.m. with a potty break outside before digging into their favorite Nulo puppy breakfast. Since growing puppies work up quite an appetite, they enjoy meals every 3–4 hours throughout the day before spending their time doing what puppies do best: playing, wrestling, exploring, collecting toys, greeting visitors, and occasionally crashing for an adorable nap. They spend their days roaming the barn with plenty of enrichment and have been raised alongside adult dogs and cats, making them respectful little housemates in the making. By about 9 p.m., everyone is happily tucked into bed after another adventure-filled day.   Like any great mixed drink menu, each puppy has their own unique flavor!   Kool-Aid The Life of the Party   If there's a welcoming committee, Kool-Aid is leading it.   One of the confident boys, Kool-Aid is always among the first to greet new people with a wagging tail and endless enthusiasm. He's playful, outgoing, and loves romping with his siblings until everyone is happily exhausted. After a good wrestling match, he's just as happy climbing into your lap for a little affection before heading off for his next adventure.   He's the perfect combination of fun-loving puppy energy and affectionate cuddle buddy.   Hi-C Big Heart, Big Paws, Big Personality   Hi-C is the largest puppy in the litter, tipping the scales at about 10 pounds— and somehow every ounce of him is sweetness.   He's a sturdy little guy with a playful spirit and endless confidence. Whether he's chasing toys, tumbling with his siblings, or making new human friends, Hi-C approaches everything with joy. Like his brother, he's one of the first to say hello when visitors arrive and loves being right in the middle of the action.   If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts goofy playmate and loyal best friend, Hi-C is ready for the job.   Capri Sun The Sweet, Easygoing One   Every litter has that puppy who quietly charms everyone—and that's Capri Sun.   She has a calm, gentle personality that makes her wonderfully easy to be around. While she enjoys playing with her siblings, toys, and people, she's perfectly content letting everyone else steal the spotlight while she happily joins the fun at her own pace.   Capri Sun has a thoughtful, laid-back nature that makes her an easy companion. She enjoys affection without demanding constant attention and is happiest simply being included in whatever the family is doing.   Tang Tiny Package, Extra Sweetness   Don't let her petite size fool you— Tang has enough love packed into her little 6.9-pound body to fill a whole pitcher.   The smallest puppy in the litter, Tang is a gentle, precious girl who enjoys playing with her siblings before happily curling up for an early nap wrapped snugly in a cozy blanket. She has an especially soft, affectionate personality and will let out the cutest little whines when she's hoping for a cuddle.   She can be a bit more timid than her brothers, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines. Tang would love a family who appreciates puppy snuggles just as much as puppy zoomies.   Looking for a Little Refreshment?   Whether you're drawn to outgoing adventurers, gentle cuddle bugs, or somewhere in between, the Summer Sips puppies have a flavor for everyone.   Like all young puppies, they'll need families committed to positive training, socialization, patience, and lots of love as they grow into wonderful adult dogs. In return, you'll get years of laughter, loyal companionship, and a best friend who's guaranteed to brighten every season— not just summer.   July 21, 2026, 7:36 pm

Story
Adopt Pluto This handsome boy found a foster home to wait in until he finds a furever home. Pluto’s story is very heartbreaking . He didn’t deserve the fate that he had when his owner stabbed him almost to death! He was taken to the ER and revived by his amazing hospital staff. He was taken to the shelter and that’s where we were able to take him in. Pluto Does GREAT on walks!! He also Does well with other dogs, he also pays little to no attention to other dogs on walks and he seems to mind his own. Pluto plays fetch, 100% and prefers squeak toys He gets a little fixated on cats but hasn’t met any in the same home yet. Pluto honestly is overall such a great dog and i think any family would definitely love him ! Pluto is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and ready for a home. He came from neglect and had so much trauma to his body. He was stabbed by a human and lives to find a better life! His ER nurse helped him recover and then became his foster! Pluto didn’t deserve such abuse and now he gets a chance to find a home. He might be around 3 years old and has a whole life ahead of him! Pluto was rescued from the Stanislaus animal shelter. He would love to come join your family! To meet Pluto please apply! Located in San Jose ca Can anyone please open their home to adopt this sweet boy

Meet Sundae, a gentle lovebug who is as sweet as ice cream. Sundae is around 5 years old and 70 lb. • Gentle and Affectionate: Sundae’s signature move is to crawl into your lap for snuggles. She adores receiving pets, belly rubs, bear hugs, and kisses. She may give you a gentle lick in return! Her fur is soft like a bunny’s, so she is a joy to pet and nuzzle! • Mellow, Quiet, and Well-Behaved: Sundae is a mellow gal who walks gently on leash and never jumps. Although she loves physical affection, she is happy to let people come to her. She allows her foster parents to work from home and go about their activities without ever interfering or demanding attention. She is quiet, calm, and patient. • House-Trained & OK Left Solo: Sundae is house-trained. She sleeps soundly when left solo loose in a room (up to 8+ overnight). • A Joyful Heart: Although usually very mellow, Sundae can be playful and silly when you initiate play with her. She sometimes gets zoomies when she’s happy to see you, and will play with toys if you invite her to! This loving girl is being fostered in Oakland, and is adoptable from Pack Lyfe Rescue! If you think Sundae could be the right pup for you, please fill out an application, and we will be in touch! Story
Meet Riley: Your Goofy, Cuddly, Entertainer! Ready to meet your new best friend? Riley is a handsome 4-year-old, 65lb Pitbull mix bursting with personality! His foster family describes him in three words: goofy, cuddly, and entertaining! Riley is a medium-energy guy who loves his chew toys and a good game of fetch. A brisk 30-minute walk usually leaves him happy and ready for some quality snuggle time on the couch. He's a smart cookie who is highly food-motivated and truly enjoys training sessions. The Awesome Stuff: * Training Pro : Excels at 'sit,' 'down,' 'stay,' and 'place.' * Super Cuddly : He loves to snuggle up on the couch or on the bed. * Leash Skills : Fantastic at walking with a loose leash (when not distracted by potential dog friends!). * Crate Trained : Sleeps soundly in his crate overnight without a peep. * Easy Grooming : Doesn't mind being handled or bathed, and is fine being picked up. * Potty Trained : Reliably lets you know when he needs to go outside. * Good Alone : After a couple of weeks to settle in, he's calm when left alone at home. * People Person : Riley has never met a stranger he didn't like! He frequently gets compliments on walks for being so handsome and polite. Riley's Journey & What He's Looking For: Rescued from a high-kill shelter in Modesto in August 2024, Riley has come such a long way! He initially struggled with leash reactivity towards other dogs, but thanks to a dedicated 60-day board-and-train program at RFRD Academy (and continued work with his fosters), he's made huge improvements. While he still gets excited and pulls towards dogs out of curiosity sometimes, he's actively working on staying calm around other dogs and is learning fast. He's looking for a loving home where he can be the only dog, soaking up all the attention from his adults or teenage family members. Riley is a truly wonderful dog with tons of love to give. He's neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated – all ready to find his forever family! Could Riley be the silly, adoring companion you've been searching for? He's currently boarded at RFRD Academy in San Jose, CA, and is eligible for foster or adoption through Pack Lyfe Rescue. Fill out an application today, and let's see if it's a match! You can check out more pictures and videos of Riley on his foster profile here: https://www.instagram.com/pawnana.fosters/March 8, 2026, 12:21 am
