Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereAt 2 years old and 68 pounds of gentle sweetness, Jellybean is a shy but snuggly Boxer mix looking for a soft place to land. This sweet girl may be a little timid at first, but once she trusts you, she’ll roll over for belly rubs, lean in for scratches, and quietly steal your heart. Jellybean walks like a dream on leash, rides calmly in the car (after she gets a little boost), and has a polite, playful style with other dogs. Rolling onto her back mid-play is her signature move! She’s dog-friendly, people-curious, and handles the outside world with a little caution and a lot of heart. She knows a few basic cues like Sit and Down, takes treats gently, and is always eager to be near her person. Her confidence is still growing, but her sweetness is already in full bloom. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close, soak up your love, and explore life at your side, one gentle step at a time. Looking for a tenderhearted best friend to love and grow with? Jellybean’s your girl.         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Zora & Rozee (@zora.rozee)  July 12, 2025, 9:08 pm

Story
Description of pet Meet Kora — A Playful Boxer Beauty Ready to Find Her Forever Home Kora is a stunning 1.5-year-old Boxer, weighing about 40–45 pounds, with a playful spirit, a heart full of love, and a face that will melt you the moment you meet her. With her classic Boxer good looks, expressive eyes, and bouncy, joyful energy, Kora is ready to find the family she’s always deserved. Kora’s story started with hardship — she was found as a stray, and while we don’t know everything she’s been through, it’s clear she’s experienced a lot of change in her young life. Despite that rough beginning, Kora remains incredibly resilient. She’s full of personality, overflowing with affection, and is still very much a puppy at heart. At around 45 pounds, Kora is a perfect medium size — big enough to be your adventure buddy on walks, hikes, and car rides, but small enough to snuggle up comfortably on the couch. Her favorite things include chasing toys, exploring the outdoors, and being close to her people. Kora is currently making great strides in her house training and is learning that her crate can be a cozy, safe place. She’s eager to please, highly food-motivated, and just needs a family willing to invest a little time in helping her polish her manners. Formal training classes would be a wonderful outlet for her smart, willing mind — plus a great bonding experience for her and her future family. Kora is: Dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs who match her playful energy Still working on her confidence with new experiences but is improving every day A great fit either as a solo dog soaking up all the attention or with canine companions in a structured, supportive home She would thrive in a family who can offer: Consistency and patience as she continues her training journey Daily exercise and playtime to match her energetic Boxer nature Tons of love and affection, because this girl is all heart True to her Boxer roots, Kora is loyal, silly, affectionate, and a little bit of a clown — she loves to make her people smile and will happily trade kisses for belly rubs. She's the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room just to be near you, always ready to brighten your day with her joyful spirit. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate best friend who is ready to embrace every day with you, Kora might just be the perfect match. Story
Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.

Story
AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT! Hi there! My name is Anna and I'm a spayed, 9-month-old, boxer that currently weighs about 43lbs. I'm a very playful and energetic young lady that loves attention from people. I enjoy making 4-legged friends as well, but I start off of on the timid side. After some sniffs and tail wags, I'm sure we'll be best friends! Please make sure to bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, so we can get acquainted before I join the family. I'm excited to explore the great, big world, but I get overwhelmed by too many new things at once. I'm hoping for a patient and loving family that is prepared to continue my training, gradually teach me about the world, and give me tons of love! Story
Grayson is a big, white hunk of love! He is very sweet with people and very loving in general. This guy is the biggest love bug and cuddly boy I’ve ever met. Don’t be deceived by his size, all 63lbs of this affectionate boxer boy loves to cuddle and act like he’s small enough to be a lap dog. He will play ball, go for walks/hikes, or play in the backyard. He’s also a chill boy in the house and will lay in his bed or cuddle with you in yours. He can be active outside and mellow inside, best of both worlds! He loves going out on outings and riding in the car. He is so sweet and affectionate trying to give you kisses and licks any chance he gets. Grayson does get a little anxious when left alone and would prefer someone who can hangout with him most of the day and take him on fun adventures! He is very food motivated. You cannot leave him unattended in a room with food or he will find it (and eat it lol)! Grayson loves all people, including kids, and would be a great addition to any family. He can be a bit jumpy and crazy when he gets his excited zoomies, so dog savvy children would be better for him. Grayson does get along with some dogs and can be reactive with others. He is mostly reactive when on the leash but if out in a yard he is very playful and friendly with dogs. He is a very good playmate and friend to the resident female small dog that lives with him. He can be selective when it comes to male dogs. Overall, Grayson could thrive in a home without other dogs or with females or mellow/submissive male dogs. If you think Grayson could be a good fit for you, please apply online to adopt him today!

Iggy a 2 year old, 44 lb mellow boy with gorgeous eyes and a soulful face. He's easy to handle, gets along well with people and other dogs, and is very loving.
