Meet Poncho.  This adorable gentle giant is a sweetheart!  He is playful and loving.  This boy can make friends easily.  He is still young and has plenty of energy to play around.  He is good on the leash, and sometimes tends to pull a little if something catches his eye.  He needs an active family and a fenced backyard.  He will transition easily in to any family. Poncho was found wondering the streets and almost hit by a car.  He was so happy to have been rescued.  He has been amazing at his foster mom's home.  He is ready to have a family of his own.   Poncho is currently in a foster home in Houston, but transport is available to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  He is just waiting to catch your eye! www.springbranchrescue.org for adoption info and fees. My dirty little secret is that I would really like to get to know rabbits and squirrels up close and personal. I mean they are moving pretty quick and I want to know WHY!?! What’s the rush anyway? Bubba 2 yo male Boxer/Pug/AST Requires another dog in home Learning to walk on leash Not fond of the crate Fostered in Camas, WA Hello, my name is Bubba.  I can't remember much about my early life, but I do remember being lost, on my own to fend for myself for months.  Some great people finally caught me and sent me to NW Boxer Rescue where I could begin the long journey of learning to trust people, and learn how to just be a dog. According to my DNA test, I am quite the mix.  Boxer, Pug and American Staffordshire Terrier.  It took me a few days to warm up to the humans in my foster home, but now I follow my foster Momma everywhere.  My most favorite thing though is my foster brother and sister.  I have learned so much from them, and they make me feel safe.  For this reason I do require another dog in the home.  I had a rough start in life, so I need a home where my humans are very patient and will take the time to teach me that I have nothing to fear. From Bubba's foster Mom:  The ideal family would consist of experienced dog owener/trainer who already have a pack of dogs who are patient, energetic and don’t mind playing with a goofy, uncoordinated dog with poorly developed social skills. He’s a sweetheart who wants lots of love, but he needs to be active and needs to be watched until he learns some manners.
