Story
Luna is a gorgeous, long-haired loving and sweet cat that wants human attention and care. She so loves to be petted and brushed and to hang out with you. She has lovely long gray fur with a cute little white patch on her chest. She looks as if she has a lion's mane with her fur collar! Luna is a lap kitty, but is content to lie in her little bed next to you. When I, as her foster mom, read up in her room, she faithfully lies on my legs keeping me warm. So cozy! She runs to you upon arrival in her room asking for pats and belly rubs as she flops over, and she has fun chasing strings and feathers. She kneads your belly or the ground when she is happy or enticed by her string toy.She is ok with non-alpha cats as she is a bit timid, and possibly with very gentle dogs--but no experience there. Luna is spayed, vaccinated, litter box perfect, uses her scratching posts exclusively, and recently had teeth cleaned. She is the sweetest girl and needs her home with a kind and gentle person in a quiet household. Please consider Luna for your gentle home. To adopt Luna, please email: cregers@comcast.net for an application December 8, 2025, 9:25 pm

Story
Meet Mama Katie (MK):  This darling, talkative, confident, kitty is a true survivor. She was rescued from the streets with two kittens and instantly showed her gratification by snuggling up to her rescuer. Now that Mama Katie is an empty nester, she is able to grow into her true personality: an opinionated, loyal, bold, vocal, and sensibly sweet gal.   Some things to know about Mama Katie: she has been through a LOT of change in the past couple of months, transitioning between multiple foster homes after being raised on the streets. So, while MK is affectionate, kind, and adaptable, she still gets overwhelmed by constant change like any normal cat. When this happens, she needs time to decompress and reassurance that she is safe and loved.   MK needs to be the only cat in the home as she is territorial and protective of her human and personal space. She has shown indifference to dogs, but it’s not clear how she will integrate with one in the home.   MK is an active, young adult, who appreciates a human who will give her lots of attention when asked, but space when needed.             MK is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea medication.       Please consider giving MK the permanent home she deserves and needs.            Email mayrasanchez@stanford.edu for an application.   November 8, 2025, 11:35 am

Story
Softmax is a fluffy guy with a gentle and kind nature and a quiet distinguished presence.  He is also very affectionate and loves closeness. He brings a calm, comforting energy that makes bedtime special, and believes blankets are meant to be shared!! Sleeping next to his person under a blanket is clearly one of his favorite things. In the daytime, Softmax is wonderfully talkative in a conversational way and seems to want to stay connected.  Despite his refined demeanor, he absolutely loves being carried like a baby.  When you hold him, he relaxes completely, purring and gazing up at you with so much trust.   He loves playing with toys, especially wands, when he will softly pounce with focused eyes and excitement.  He loves play, but is never rough.     Softmax also gets along well with other cats and would enjoy the companionship of another calm, friendly feline.  More than anything, he just wants to be near those he loves.  He is a wonderful, loving cat who has come so far after living on the streets and is ready to be indoors in a warm, loving environment to feel truly at home. He is vaccinated, microchipped, fully litter box trained, and healthy. To meet Softmax. please email cregers@comcast.net to receive an applicationJanuary 23, 2026, 3:19 pm

Story
Meet Otis and Tuff: Bonded Kitten Pair for Adoption Born in April 2025  Otis: Otis is a classic orange tabby bursting with goofy energy and gentle affection. This inquisitive kitten has an easygoing temperament and a knack for making friends with every cat or kitten he meets, greeting them with a bold invitation to play. Once a feral kitten, Otis may take a moment to warm up to humans, but once he trusts you, he’ll melt into your lap with a purr so loud it warms your soul. His funny, charismatic personality lights up any room, and his acrobatic leaps for wand toys—jumping several feet in the air—are a blast to watch! Otis' favorite pastime is chasing wands, and he pairs perfectly with his beloved brother, Tuff. Tuff: Tuff is a handsome, curious kitten with a heart full of adorable kitten qualities. Rescued as a very young kitten with a severe tail injury, he now sports a charming little bobtail after a partial amputation. Like his brother, he gets along wonderfully with other kittens and cats, diving into playtime with enthusiasm and cuddling just as hard afterward. Whether he’s chasing fuzzy toy balls or soaring for wands, Tuff is all in—until it’s time to snooze happily beside his brother. Shy at first, Tuff blossoms into a loyal companion who won’t want you to leave once he bonds with you. About the Pair: These boys are a bonded pair who must be adopted together, as their love for each other is unbreakable. They are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccines, ready to bring joy, playfulness, and endless purrs to their forever home.  If you’re looking for a dynamic duo to fill your life with love and laughter, Otis and Tuff are the perfect match! Story
Born November 2024, meet Lyra, a charming teenage kitty with a heart full of potential! Rescued at just 3 months old from a feral colony in a Hayward motel parking lot, Lyra showed early signs of tameness that convinced her trappers to give her a shot at a loving home. Now blossoming into a young cat, Lyra is ready to find a patient, understanding, and caring family to help her thrive. Lyra is a bit shy at first, but with a calm and steady approach, she opens up beautifully, revealing her sweet and playful personality. She feels most secure in a home with other neutral cats, who help her feel safe and confident. Once comfortable, Lyra’s bursts of energy are a joy to witness—she can zoom around for hours, especially when chasing her favorite cheetah feather wand or pouncing on fuzzy mice toys. With the right environment and a little patience, Lyra transforms into a rewarding companion who will steal your heart. Adopt Lyra and discover the wonderful cat she’s destined to become! Lyra would do best in quiet home with another cat to have as a friend. A family with small  children and  teenagers would be great too. Lyra is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet her. https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption December 7, 2025, 2:21 pm

Story
Meet Mrs. Bennet: The Queen of Cuddles Ready for Her Happily Ever After Oh, darling readers, prepare to fall head over heels for Mrs. Bennet, our 5-year-old feline empress who's equal parts grace and gooey affection. With her silky fur, soulful green eyes, and a purr that could melt the iciest of hearts, this FIV-negative lady isn't just a cat—she's a living testament to quiet strength and boundless love. Picture this: Rescued from the chaos of a hoarding colony, Mrs. Bennet emerged not broken, but unbreakable. Amid the shadows, she became the colony's unsung hero—tenderly mothering her own kittens and even stepping in to nurture the littlest strays with the fierce devotion of a mama bear in whiskers. Now, in the cozy haven of foster care, she's blossoming like a forgotten rose in springtime. No more survival mode; it's all about sunbeams, slow blinks, and those delicious moments when she claims your lap as her royal throne. This gentle soul's idea of paradise? A soft blanket, a full food bowl (she's a connoisseur of both kibble and chin scratches), and quality time with her favorite humans. Calm and confident, she's a pro at harmonious cat cohabitation and would charm older kids with her patient playfulness. Dogs? She's never met one she couldn't size up with a curious whisker twitch— a laid-back, cat-savvy pup might just win her over. At 5 years young, Mrs. Bennet isn't chasing mice or midnight zoomies; she's dreaming of lazy afternoons and loyal companionship. Her past was a plot twist she never deserved, but her future? That's where you come in. Will you open your heart (and lap) to this regal rescue? She's waiting with bated breath—and maybe a headbutt or two. Apply today; her forever starts with you.  Mrs. Bennet is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet her in person. https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption December 21, 2025, 5:07 pm
