Story
Have you ever found yourself sitting on top of your cat tree and thinking, `everything the light touches...is my kingdom`? No? Maybe that`s just me. My name is Simba, and I am ready to take my rightful place as king (of your house).Don`t worry, though. I`m not some sort of spoiled royal with an attitude. I might take a little while to warm up to you when you take me home, but after a few days I`ll be ready for snuggles. And chin scratches. By kingly decree, I do demand daily chin scratches. I love to play with my toys, and the ribbon toys are my favorite (so that way you can join in too)! And once playtime is over, I`m happy to monitor my kingdom from the top of the cat tree or sit next to a window so I can look at the birds. It`s always good to keep an eye on the outside avian subjects -- who knows what they might be up to.As long as we`re slowly and properly introduced, I`m happy to share my kingdom with any other cats you might have. But if you want me as your one and only cat, I`m fine with that too. Either way, you can show your love and appreciation for my benevolent rule by petting my fur (I keep it super soft!) and providing me with food. Because food is AWESOME. I`m on a prescription diet -- it`s one of my few kingly demands. Everyone knows the lion is the king of the jungle, but you can`t have one of those in the house. You can take me home instead! And then we can live happily ever after. If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website – https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application – and choose me, Simba! My adoption fee is $150 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. We’ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we’re up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
FANCY A CAT WITH A FANCY BUTT?Simone Biles the cat has a lot in common with Simone Biles the star athlete. Both have overcome adversity to rise high, and are an inspiration in their ability to bounce back.Simone was left to fend for herself on the streets while suffering from a prolapsed anus. Poor Simone went from one house to the next meowing for help until a Good Samaritan took her in and contacted AARF. Show Your Soft Side’s Street Kitty Medical Fund helped Simone get her needed surgery and now she is one happy girl who can give all the shiny butt greetings you could wish for.Simone is a healthy, playful cat who has long forgotten her sad past. She loves to play and snuggle, and her favorite robot laser toy will come with her to her new home. She has a great appetite and is not picky and her new improved backside does its job admirably. She does get constipated on occasion, but a little bit of Miralax in her food fixes that. Not only does Simone have the gold standard of all rear ends, her front end is pretty awesome too! She is one smart kitty cat who knows high-five and loves to be sung to. (Her foster parents say she prefers Mony Mony by Billy Idol, but we’re pretty sure she’ll love any song you can sing.)If you`d like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link- https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application! The adoption fee is $150.00, and covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they`ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They`ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of our cats have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they`re ready for a happy, healthy life with you! .

Story
Say hello to Shortbread, who knows his name as Buddy, a magnificently fluffy 3-year-old who bears a striking resemblance to a Maine Coon and comes with the chattiness to match! This lovable 15-pound love bug is an equal-opportunity conversationalist who`ll shower you with meows and companionship throughout the day. While he`s not the type to curl up in your lap, Shortbread is happiest when his favorite humans are nearby, keeping him company while he supervises (very seriously) from his favorite perch.Shortbread had a difficult transition in his last placement, struggling with stress-related behaviors including some accidents outside the litter box. Here`s what we`ve learned: he`s a sensitive soul who needs an owner who understands him. Shortbread thrives with a slow, low-pressure introduction and bonds with the people he trusts. His recent cardiac checkup showed he`s in good health, but will need bloodwork every few years to check his health. Shortbread has proved he can peacefully coexist with other cats when given proper adjustment time.An experienced, patient cat parent who appreciates a large, affectionate companion and won`t mind the regular grooming this fluffy fellow needs to look his best. Shortbread deserves a quiet home without young children, ideally without high-energy dogs, where someone is around enough to give him the consistency and reassurance that helps him feel secure. If you can offer understanding and his own room during his adjustment period while also being willing to work through his anxiety with calm, compassionate support, Shortbread will reward you with devoted companionship. If you’d like to take this kitty home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/cat-application. Story
Hi - My name is Daisy (The Cow Herd Litter) and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am the tiniest cow in the herd, but I do not let that stop me. I love to playfight with my brother who is twice my size! I am usually found playing, sometimes with toys, and other times with things that are not really meant to be toys. I don`t care, the entire world is a toy! I am really too busy for cuddle time, but I can be persuaded to cuddle up underneath my foster mom`s chin for a few minutes. I`m not really a good fit for kids, as I am a small girl and I don`t like to be picked up too often. If you have any questions about me, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org. Or if you just think it`s love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me Daisy! My adoption fee is $150.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes.
