Story
Hello, My name is Purrscilla. I was brought into rescue two years ago & been in my foster ever since. I was semi feral when I first came into rescue. Will a lot of time, patience & consistency I have blossomed with my other cat friends. I have now allowed petting & seek out attention from my foster mom for many months now. She feels in the right home I can continue to be brave & seek out attention. I hope you choose to help me be the best kitty I can be. I can't wait for you to visit me in my foster home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Fern. I was brought to SFAAR at a few weeks old. When I went into get spayed at 3 months old I was diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur and in heart failure. I love all the cats & people that visit. I play and eat like a normal kitty. While my time hear may be short I just celebrated two years in rescue. I was recently spayed & updated on my vaccines. My condition at this time is being controlled with heart meds but we don't know how much longer that could be. In the meantime I'm going to enjoy every second I have & live it to the fullest. If you have experience in having had a cat with a heart condition we will consider adopting her into the right home that will continue her medication and help her keep her quality of life comfortable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm

Kiki was surrendered to SFAAR after owner decided she didn't want spay a kitten that was always ill. Once in rescue Kiki was diagnosed with dry FIP with ocular & neuro complications.  She completed 84 days of treatment & observation  I am considered cured.Unfortunately I developed  cataracts & am on 2 eye drops to keep me comfortable. Thus far surgery is not needed. I get along great even with limited vision.Throughout it all I am still a sweet, purr machine that is spunky & playful.  I can't wait show you how awesome I amVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm

Story
Hello, I was returned to SFAAR recently after 10 years. I had not been to a veterinarian in years so SFAAR took me in to have a complete work up. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with diabetes, however it is being well-controlled with insulin shots twice a day.I am a sweet, loving guy that really enjoys attention. I love to follow my foster mom around which is good exercise for me. Don't let my diagnoses scare you. I am doing very well and would really enjoy a loving home to call my own.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Looney. My kittens & I were abandoned in the woods. Thankfully a foster family for SFAAR worked dilligently to get us all safely inside. A few of us had cutreba's that needed to be removed but are all doing amazing now. I am a sweet girl that can be a little nervous in new places. Give me a little time & I warm up. I like to be pet & lounge on my cat tree, looking out the window. I can't wait for a chance at a forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Julie. I was surrendered to SFAAR by my owner. She had said that I was getting picked on by the resident cats & hiding a lot. Unfortunately with SFAAR I haven't adapted well. They've found I do best with no cats or just one that won't bother me. They have a feeling I was the trouble maker in the previous home. I have been extremely nervous & shy in my foster home. Its been about 6 months and am finally starting to come around. I'm looking for a cat experienced owner that understands I may hide, shy away from attention for awhile. Persistance & patience will pay off with me as I now follow my foster mom around and allow pets. I would not do well in a busy environment with a lot cats and definitely not kids(unless older). SFAAR is willing to adopt me into the right home that understands I may not be the purrfect companion to start but with a little patience & TLC I know I will do my best to show you how much I do appreciate you giving me a second chance at a forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 1, 2024, 1:17 pm
