Story
Hazel is 3 years old. My fiancé and I adopted her from a friend one year ago after one of our cats passed away. They adopted her to us because they got a dog that went after her a lot. Shes very loving, she’s the kind of cat that will want to cuddle with you or lay on your chest anytime you’re laying down. Shes also playful and will want to engage you in hide and seek or play fetch with a hair tie. She was previously an indoor/outdoor cat - we don’t feel comfortable doing that fully but do allow supervised outside time and she listens and behaves incredibly. Shes very intelligent. She does have some quirks - she loves to lay on you with a blanket and lick and burrow. She also will use her mouth, lightly biting hands, to engage with you at times. If stressed, (e.g. when we have extended travel), she has peed on bedding and towels on the ground. This has been curbed by us not allowed her access to these kind of items during higher stress situations for her, but it is part of her deme

Story
I adopted Nova from a friend in May 2025. Over the course of this year, she has been an amazing cat -- loving cuddles, playtime, snoozing, and observing from her cat tree. Unfortunately, I have to move back in with my parents who don't allow animals in the house, and I am looking for a full-time job. Let me be clear, I WANT HER BACK. I have reached out to The Bond Between, Pet Haven, and have to wait for the Animal Humane Society to open tomorrow and see if they can find a foster for her. She has a vet appointment on April 30th to determine if her peeing outside the litterbox is due to protest of living with other animals or if it's an infection/condition. She doesn't always pee outside the litterbox but does sometimes. I just really need her to go to a home for about 3-4 months while I save up enough money to live on my own or with a roommate. She is sweet, vocal, soft, and just loves spending time with you.

Story
Meet Locke – A Special Boy Looking for a Special Home Locke is a 9–10 month old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This goofy, playful guy has been through more than most in his life, but you’d never know it—he’s full of love, energy, and snuggles. Locke is FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus), which can sound scary at first, but we encourage anyone interested to do their own research. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and his most recent bloodwork shows that with a safe indoor environment and proper care, he has the potential to live a long, happy life just like any other cat. Here’s what makes Locke amazing: - **Funny and playful** – he’s always ready to chase a toy or goof around - **Super cuddly** – with humans and even dogs! He absolutely loves to snuggle - **Food motivated** – mealtime is his favorite time - **Resilient and loving** – despite everything he’s been through, his heart is wide open Due to his FeLV+ status, Locke hasn’t been around other cats while in rescue, but he’s shown he can be great with dog friends! He was with cats up until he was brought into rescue at 5 months old, and if he wasn’t FeLV+, likely would have been a bonded pair with another cat he came in with who was negative. He’s ready to find his forever person or family who will give him the love and safety he deserves. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion with a huge heart and a silly side, Locke might just be your perfect match. *More information and photos added over time. *We only adopt and foster our animals within a 60 mile radius from New Brighton, MN* All of our adoptable animals can be seen by appointment. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending. Story
Meet Humphrey! This young kitten is ready for his next chapter! He is a little shy, but has started to flourish with other cats and dogs in the house. Humphrey has been great with other dogs and cats. He does take a little bit of time to come around to new folks, but really is growing into himself. He has really enjoyed having other cats or dogs in the home, but likely could be successful as an only-cat if there's enough else for him to interact with! He'd love to join your home! *We only adopt and foster our animals within a 60 mile radius from New Brighton, MN* All of our adoptable animals can be seen by appointment. Story
Bitbit is a most amazing boy, he is my heart. He is 12 years old but suffers from FIC. I have been working with a vet for a year and things are not getting any better. He is on anti-anxiety meds and Gabapentin but is still urinating outside of liter box but also uses the liter box daily . He's a good boy who is happy and healthy besides the FIC. If you talk to him, he will talk back. He loves to snuggle next to you, not on you, & does not like to be held tooo long if you pick him up for hugs and kisses. He loves to sleep with you, but likes his own spot in the bed. He is not at all shy about stepping on you to get to his spot on the bed.

Story
Taco is a 2.5 year old female who needs to be the only pet in her home. We do not want to rehome her, but she is being bullied by our two male cats whom she's lived with since they were all 8 weeks old.Taco is the sweetest girl. She's very talkative, and will meow to thank you if you pet her. If you're up and moving around she might meow to ask you to carry her (but won't stay if you sit down). She's an independent woman, though, so she will argue with you if you try to pick her up against her will, but she often cuddles, on her terms, during movie/tv time or in bed. She's spry and playful, loves to watch squirrels out the window, catch bugs, and play with toys. Her green eyes are so pretty and she's a chimera, though it's very subtle--one side of her face is grey striped while the other side is orange striped. She's petite and barely sheds. The only evidence of her Maine Coon father is her stripes. Her Bengal mother was fully spotted, and Taco's belly is spotted like her mother's.
