Story
Meet Jive! 🐾 Jive is a bold, playful, and super sweet brown short-haired boy who loves to be in the middle of the action. He’s got a ton of energy and a big personality to match — if there’s a feather wand or a tunnel around, he’s in it. When he’s not zooming through playtime, you’ll find him lounging by the window or basking in a cozy warm spot near the heat. This chatty guy isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts — he’ll vocalize when he wants attention or just feels like adding commentary to the day. Jive enjoys affection, but on his own terms (classic cat confidence). He’s fully litter trained, loves a good cat tree climb, and thrives with regular play sessions to help him burn off energy — especially since he can get a little talkative at night if he’s bored. Jive would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he might do okay with the right calm companion. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but would likely be fine with gentle introductions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive cat with a zest for life and a soft spot for cuddles and playtime, Jive’s your guy! 💛 Currently fostered with: Snuggles. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking “Apply for Adoption”. Story
Meet Conrad! Hi, I’m Conrad—though you can call me Con or Connie for short! I’m the definition of a playful kitten, full of energy and personality. One moment I’m chasing my brother Jeremiah or batting around toy mice, and the next I’m curled up purring in your lap or perched on your shoulder like a tiny parrot. I love all kinds of toys—wand toys, feathers, jingle balls—you name it! I’m also a brave little guy who isn’t afraid to let you know when I want attention (which is often). Whether I’m sprinting across the room, practicing my yodeling skills, or snuggling into a cozy bed, I always find a way to keep life entertaining. Conrad is looking for a forever family who will enjoy both his silly, playful side and his snuggly, affectionate side. He’d love to be adopted with his brother Jeremiah or into a home with another friendly cat to keep him company. If you’re ready for endless laughs, cuddles, and adventures with a confident kitten who wears his heart on his sleeve, Conrad might just be your new best friend! Conrad is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and current on age-appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Layla — the sweet, gentle long-haired beauty with a calm and quiet soul. Layla is an adult black-and-grey cat who enjoys a peaceful, low-energy lifestyle. She’s independent and shy at first, but once she trusts you, she absolutely loves gentle petting—especially chin rubs—and curling up in your lap for cozy snuggles. Layla was accidentally trapped and, fortunately, had already been spayed, showing she once had a home. She’s fully litter trained and enjoys lounging in sunny spots or snuggling in a comfy bed. While she tolerates other cats, she would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and relaxed. She’s great with kids of all ages and would likely do well with gentle introductions to dogs, though her experiences with them are unknown. Layla loves affection on her terms and prefers a patient family who can let her come to them at her own pace. If you’re looking for a serene, affectionate companion who enjoys quiet cuddles, sunny naps, and soft purrs, Layla is ready to bring calm and love to your home. Layla is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Trumpet is great with other cats and wonderful with kids. He hasn’t been tested with dogs yet, but his bold, curious nature suggests he’d likely do well with a calm, proper introduction.
