Story

Meet Humphrey! This young kitten is ready for his next chapter! He is a little shy, but has started to flourish with other cats and dogs in the house. Humphrey has been great with other dogs and cats. He does take a little bit of time to come around to new folks, but really is growing into himself. He has really enjoyed having other cats or dogs in the home, but likely could be successful as an only-cat if there's enough else for him to interact with! He'd love to join your home! *We only adopt and foster our animals within a 60 mile radius from New Brighton, MN* All of our adoptable animals can be seen by appointment. Apply to adopt here: https://www.legendssenioranimalrescue.org/our-forms-2 Apply to foster here: https://www.legendssenioranimalrescue.org/foster-application All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment. You can contact us through our website at http://legendsrescue.org/index.php/contact/ or visit our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LegendsRescue/ if you have further questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet. FOSTER CARE: Our rescues are fostered in individual homes or at our facility. We work hard to ensure that our rescues have a supportive family while at foster homes to help them move forward and get ready for their forever home. We work on training, crate-training and socialization before an animal is adopted out. Foster homes are extremely important to the success of the cat at their forever home, and it is extremely rewarding to be able to watch the cats growth as you help them on their journey to their happy ending. YOU CAN HELP: If you’re not able to foster or adopt right now, please consider sponsoring a Legend. Your donation will help with our care and pay for medical costs. Story

Mimosa (Mimi) is a cute little gal with some mischief in her. She tends to hide when people are over and loves to hide in silly places. She only wants affection on her terms but can be cuddly occasionally! She will probably do best in a home with out dogs or kids. She’s okay with cats since she tends to just want to be on her own!

Appa (+brother Kuma)

Story

We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago.https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household with kids, but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl!). He also knows how to spin and sit for a treat :)
