Very affectionate and sweet. Loves to snuggle and cuddle. Does NOT like large dogs, but is fine with small dogs. Does NOT like small kids, and I have small grandkids. LOVES treats. Loves to look out the window and his cat tree. Has free reign of the house.

Oreo was brought home from a farm in southeastern MN in late 2023 after it was made evident (by him) that he wanted to be a house cat. He is extremely quick to purr and give you headbutts and makes some of the best fresh biscuits around! He is an agile, playful kitty who is great at climbing (hence the perch picture), and does a great using his scratching post! He also enjoys walking outside and does well on a leash! We haven’t had issues with him scratching furniture. The only reason we are looking re-home him is that integration with his sister cat still isn't going well, and we want them both to enjoy a full loving free life. We have supplies we would be happy include (auto feeder, litter box, scratching post, cozy sleeping nest, toys, etc) with his adoption. We are sad to part with him just really want him to go to a good home. He is looking for a household where he is the only cat. He does well with his medium sized dog sister, and he would do well a relaxed dog.

I adopted him at the humane society, I dont have time to take care of him or patience. I would like to give him to someone who can keep him entertained. Comes with everythingyou need to start taking care of him.

Locke is FeLV positive (Feline Leukemia Virus), which can sound scary at first, but we encourage anyone interested to do their own research. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and his most recent bloodwork shows that with a safe indoor environment and proper care, he has the potential to live a long, happy life just like any other cat. He was with cats up until he was brought into rescue at 5 months old, and if he wasn’t FeLV+, likely would have been a bonded pair with another cat he came in with who was negative. He’s ready to find his forever person or family who will give him the love and safety he deserves. Humphrey has been great with other dogs and cats. He does take a little bit of time to come around to new folks, but really is growing into himself. He has really enjoyed having other cats or dogs in the home, but likely could be successful as an only-cat if there's enough else for him to interact with! *Born on August 25 2025* I got my kitten from a friend who had a litter of kittens. I’ve since run into financial difficulties and need to let my precious Oreo go. My greatest wish is to find her a loving home. She is a charming rambunctious little kitty and I know she’ll be a great addition to a lovely home.
