Story
She is a very kind cat, does not bite or scratch unless provoked, such as making her feel unsafe. She is okay around other animals, however she is scared and will hide from them. She grew up with many other cats and will get along with them if they are introduced correctly. She loves to cuddle and be close, but you have to encourage a good relationship with her. Giving cats a bath is unnecessary unless needed for medical reasons, so she is uncomfortable in water but not mean. She is a very small cat and has been raised as an inside cat, as all cats should be, however she tries to get outside. She was previously bonded with her two older brothers who passed away in the last 6 months. I have her vet paperwork that proves updated vaccination, spay and microchip. She turns 2 years old March 28th, 2027. She is approximately 6lbs. She will most likely not grow bigger. She is a princess and sweetheart with no medical issues.

Story
Sif is an adorable lovable cat that is absolutely worth it. She demands love pets and play, but her and I do not get along well. She seems to be more friendly with females than males, and makes me believe something happened before I adopted her. Sif and I both have had a bit of trauma together after the loss of the other cat, and I think she just needs a new home with a fresh start. She loves salmon based food, wet or dry, and she is very much a loving cat that purrs very loudly when she’s is happy. She will rub against you, and loves to explore, but is also easily startled at least around men. She’s friendly and will walk up to strangers, and I have seen her bond with other cats and start grooming them as well. One thing to note is she is obsessed with self suckling herself, and if she’s really happy will do it immediately, it is something to note.

Story
I found Leo in my mother flower garden crying one day after coming home from a work event. He was abandoned and beat up from the other stray cat around our neighborhood. I immediately vetted him right away except he wasn't the aged of being neutered. He was estimated to be 6 weeks year old in August 2025. He is still very playful, curious and well mannered. He has no issue using the litter box. He is not an outside cat but does run outside but stays around the yard. His shot are up to date except he is not neutered. I am looking for someone who is looking to give him a caring and loving home.

Story
Sweet little Hayley is now 16 weeks old. Having fostered many kittens, she is the sweetest gentlest kitten with the nicest temperament I have ever met! Hayley is extremely social and affectionate and loves to play. She is food motivated and loves her treats. She has very soft paws and will lick me gently during play instead of biting. Her coat feels like cashmere and will be very low maintenance. She enjoys her window time and sunning and sniffing on the catio. She is very cuddly and has a big purr and enjoys sleeping on my pillow at night. She would love a busier home where she can receive lots of cuddles and attention. She loved being petted, held, and carried around. Hayley will require another friendly young cat in the home so she can play and cuddle with a sibling. Hayley is vetted, fully vaccinated, dewormed and has flea and tick preventative but the adopter will be responsible to spay her.

Story
Pea | 8-year-old torbie | she/her | reformed grouch My foster mom was trying to work on my bio, but she was struggling to find just the right words to describe me. I told her to step aside — who better to tell you about me than yours truly. My name is Pea. My foster mom calls me Miss Pea, and I like it — I'll thank you to use it. I am an eight-year-old torbie, a lady of distinct taste, and until recently, as dramatic as a Bravo TV housewife. Here are the facts: I was surrendered to a shelter because I despised other cats. I'm not hiding it — it was a known fact about me. I sat in the shelter, miserable; my time was running out. I was exactly twenty-four hours from meeting my maker when (cue music) The Rescue Crew sprang me from the clutches of Hades. You might call it good timing. I call it my second act. Turns out, my legendary attitude had a perfectly good explanation. I was carrying some luxury weight, which put a strain on my bad knees and sore back. When every step hurts, you don't purr. You swat. I'm not making excuses. I'm providing context. There's a difference. Two months ago, I landed with a foster lady, and somewhere between the vet visit and the new food, I am getting back on track. I'm on a prescription diet that's actually working — I haven't been on the scale lately (a lady doesn't discuss numbers), but I feel lighter - and happier. I take a medication called Gabapentin to manage my knee pain until I drop 3–4 lbs. And I exercise — feather cardio (I swat a feather at the end of a plastic stick) and slow, deliberate laps from room to room. Yes, it counts. Do not minimize my effort. I feel better than I have in years. I'm still opinionated, mind you. But I'm a gentler kind of opinionated — a work in progress, if you will. My days now look like this: I have a safe room all to myself, I get to roam the house when my foster mom's cats are "spending the day" in the basement, I do my cardio, I nap, and I accept affection entirely on my own terms. I have actually tolerated encounters with one of the resident cats. It's a good life. I've earned it. I'm looking for a forever home who understands I’m getting better with age. I don't need other cats. I don't need chaos. I need consistency, a good food bowl, and someone who won't take it personally when I just need a minute. In return, I will be somewhat snuggly, quite talkative, and 100% hilarious. I was almost a cautionary tale — now I'm ready to be your most endearing, sometimes dramatic, companion. That's the deal. I promise I'm worth it. Story
About Me Hi, I’m Lima! I’m a beautiful brown tabby with a gentle soul and a quiet personality. When I first arrived, the world felt a little overwhelming, so I preferred to watch from the safety of a cozy hiding spot. But every day, I grow a little braver. Now you’ll often find me stretched out in a sunny window, lounging on a cat tower, or making a beeline for dinner when the wet food comes out—it's definitely one of my favorite times of day! I’m an easygoing girl who gets along well with both people and other cats. I’m never one to stir up trouble, and because I’m not the type to demand attention, I sometimes get overlooked by visitors. But I hope someone sees what the volunteers do—a sweet, loving cat who simply needs a little time to shine. If you're looking for a calm companion who will quietly become a cherished part of your family, I think we'd make a wonderful match. ---------- WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means most of our animals are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.
