Ellie is such a sweetheart! She loves to be pet and be around you. She has lived with both dogs and cats since she was a kitten and did well with them, but I feel she would be best as an only pet at this stage in her life. She does not care for children and will hide from them - it causes her stress. She likes to play with a laser, string toys, balls/toy mice. She had her annual vet visit in November and dental cleaning/extraction in December, so she is up to date on everything. She has issues with poop - sometimes it's in the box and other times it's on the floor next to the box. This has been an issue the past 7-8 years probably. I have tried different litters, different boxes, multiple boxes, different locations, etc. I am not sure why she does it and the vet can't find anything medically wrong with her as to why it is happening. It's not all over the house, so I have just dealt with it. Hoping that changes in a different environment where she is less stressed.

Because of his background, he will need time and patience to fully settle in. Johan prefers minimal handling and likes to interact on his own terms, but when he feels safe, he will purr and allow gentle petting — a special reward for earning his trust. He has a medium energy level and enjoys playtime with wand toys and toy mice. You’ll often find him perched on top of the cat house, watching the world go by from his favorite high spot. Johan is fully litter trained and does great with other cats. In fact, he must go to a home with another friendly cat, which will help him feel secure and confident.
