Story
Winston is a beautiful, sweet, gentle boy with a quiet spirit. He’s always been a little shy and anxious but we acquired a 4th cat last fall and it’s just been too much for Winston. His anxiety level surged and he started marking the furniture to feel safe. He started taking fluoxetine last month and it has helped. Winston is comfortable and gets along completely fine with our 2 senior cats. The younger cat just wants to play all the time and that was too much for Winston. He’s sweet and kind and lets my youngest cat push him around. It breaks my heart to rehome him but he needs a quiet home without chaos. He would be fine with another adult kitty, just not a young cat or kitten. No young children. Older children would be fine. Needs an owner who will be willing to give him his medicine once a day. It’s just a pre measured cream applied to his inner ear.

Story
This cat was found but I can’t afford to keep her, take her to the vet, and she is unregistered at my apartment. I’ve been trying to find a friend or family member to take her for a month or two but I haven’t had any luck and I would feel bad taking her to the shelter. She is really shy with people and will hide but not aggressive or mean. She is very small but I’m guessing her age is like 1-2 years old. I already have one cat and they get along but it did take some time for them to acclimate. I do not know how she would do with dogs or kids but I assume it would take some time as well.

Story
Lovingly referred to as "Potato" by her foster parents for her round stature, Sparky is full of life, love, and resilience. One of Sparky's most endearing features is her nubby ears, which give her a striking resemblance to her namesake, Como Zoo’s Sparky the Seal. Before Sparky came into rescue, she was living with chronic ear infections and likely a great deal of pain. She patiently waited for a specialized surgery to remove her ear canal, and along the way also underwent a spay and dental procedure. Needless to say, this girl is no stranger to the operating room, but she has been a trooper through all the vet visits and countless doses of medication. If there's one thing Sparky loves most in this life, it's food. She may not be able to hear a thing, but somehow, she always knows exactly when it’s mealtime. She's never one to miss a snack! Sparky adores gentle scratches and being brushed. She'll happily let you scoop her up for a few moments of cuddles before giving a little wiggle to let you know she's ready to be back on all four paws. Through and through, she is a certified sweetheart. She starts purring almost instantly when she sees you walk into the room. After everything she's been through, Sparky deserves nothing less than the very best. She's ready to trade vet visits for sunny windowsills, cozy naps, full food bowls, and a lifetime of love with a family who will spoil her the way she deserves. Due to her previous ear issues, Sparky could be prone to infections in her left ear so her new family should keep an eye on her ear and make sure her veterinarian is aware. Sparky is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Dorothy is an adorable black-and-white tuxedo kitten with a playful heart and a charming personality. Affectionately nicknamed Dottie (or Dots), this sweet girl is just over 4 months old and is equal parts adventurer and professional lounger. In fact, she's truly perfected the art of relaxing—you'll often find her stretched out in a hammock or curled up in a cozy poof bed after a busy play session. Dorothy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her affectionate, flirty personality to shine through. She has a special way of winning people over, whether she's sweetly asking for attention or inviting you to join in a game. She loves chasing balls, playing with interactive toys, and climbing all over her mesh play enclosure, finding creative ways to explore both inside and on top of it. When playtime is over, she's happy to be picked up and enjoys cuddles on her own terms. Dorothy is fully litter trained and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Because she's grown up with her littermates, she'd love to be adopted with one of them or into a home with another young, playful cat. She would do best with older, cat-savvy children who understand that she may need a little time to settle in. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten with just the right balance of energy and relaxation, Dorothy is ready to become your new best friend. Currently fostered with: The Whiz, Toto, Hickory, and Auntie Em. Dorothy is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Aquara! Aquara is a sweet, gentle girl who takes her time getting to know new people. She's timid at first, but with patience, kindness and a few tasty treats, you'll start to see her personality shine. Watching her come out of her shell is a journey filled with small steps forward and the bond you'll build with her is one that will be truly meaningful. Once Aquara feels safe and knows you're a friend, she loves gentle scratches and will happily soak up the affection. Aquara is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace. We want to let adopters know that Aquara has a fractured front incisor tooth. No action required now, but it will need to be monitored. Aquara is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Toribia, a beautiful 1-year-old buff tabby with a gentle spirit and a personality that blends sweetness, playfulness, and independence. Toribia can be a little shy at first and loves having cozy hiding spots where she feels safe—don’t be surprised if her favorite places are tucked away in closets or under (or even on top of!) the bed while she settles in. Once she feels comfortable, Toribia’s playful and affectionate side begins to shine. She enjoys chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, and sharing cuddles—but always on her own terms, which makes those quiet moments with her feel extra special. Her energy level is a lovely mix of active and calm, making her equally happy during playtime or relaxing nearby. Toribia would thrive as the only cat in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention without the stress of other feline roommates. She may do well with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to respect her boundaries and let her come to them at her own pace. She is litter box trained and does best with a large litterbox scooped twice daily. Toribia is ready to find a patient, loving home where she can feel secure, adored, and truly at ease. Toribia is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.
