Story
Winston is a beautiful, sweet, gentle boy with a quiet spirit. He’s always been a little shy and anxious but we acquired a 4th cat last fall and it’s just been too much for Winston. His anxiety level surged and he started marking the furniture to feel safe. He started taking fluoxetine last month and it has helped. He’s been isolated in his own room and that has also helped but I feel that not a good life. Winston is comfortable and gets along completely fine with our 2 senior cats. The younger cat just wants to play all the time and that was too much for Winston. He’s sweet and kind and lets my youngest cat push him around. It breaks my heart to rehome him but he needs a quiet home without chaos. He would be fine with another adult kitty, just not a young cat or kitten. No young children. Older children would be fine. Needs an owner who will be willing to give him his medicine once a day. It’s just a pre measured cream applied to his inner ear.

Story
Cooper was rescued at 2 months old. His original owner who rescued him passed away when he was about 3 years old. It took him awhile to warm up to me and my son but once he did he became playful and active. He is very shy and timid around strangers, often hiding until he knows the coast is clear. He loves making biscuits late at night and getting belly rubs while doing big stretches.

Story
Crayola (known as Lola in her foster home) is a gentle, sweet-natured fluffy but petite cat with a calm and independent spirit that makes her a comforting presence in any home. She enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and can often be found lounging in her favorite cozy spots, whether it’s atop a box, curled up on a cat tower, or resting beside her favorite scratcher. She is very smart, gentle/and people-oriented. She loves laying on her foster mom's desk sometimes or snuggling on the chair with her. She is very responsive and will jump up when she hears spspsps. With her low-energy personality, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a peaceful, easygoing pet. She has a kind, tolerant nature that makes her great with children of all ages. Crayola has not met dogs while in rescue but she would likely be ok with slow intros. She also gets along with other cats if they have very slow intros. Separate spaces to start and gradual introductions are needed. Crayola is fully litter trained and has excellent indoor manners, making her an easy addition to her future family. One of her most endearing traits is her love of being picked up and held—she truly enjoys gentle affection and quiet companionship. Crayola can be a chatty kitty, she likes to voice her opinions and talk to her people. Since raising a litter of kittens, Crayola has developed a playful side, occasionally carrying toys and softly “talking” to them. She’s just starting to blossom, and her future family will have the joy of watching her personality continue to shine. Crayola Crosspack is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Birdie the Early Bird! This sweet brown and white tabby has finished raising her kittens and is ready for a new chapter—one where she gets to be the center of attention. Birdie came into rescue with a litter of babies and proved to be a wonderful, devoted mom. Now that her kittens are grown, she's excited to find a family of her very own to love and spoil. Birdie is the perfect mix of social, playful, and easygoing. She enjoys toys and interactive playtime, but she isn't as busy or mischievous as a young kitten. She's happy to join in on the fun, then settle down nearby to keep you company. Her friendly personality makes her a wonderful companion for a variety of homes. She gets along well with other cats, does great with children, and would likely be fine with a respectful dog, although she hasn't had the chance to meet one while in rescue. Birdie is also fully litter trained and ready to transition smoothly into her forever home. After spending so much time caring for others, Birdie deserves a family who will shower her with the love and attention she's earned. Could that family be yours? Birdie the Early Bird is fixed, microchipped, FIV and FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Adoption Fee: $275 + applicable tax Come see Birdie the Early Bird at the Chuck & Don’s in Uptown located at 3244 West Lake Street Minneapolis, MN 55416 ADOPT ME: If you’d like to begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ search for the bio and click “Apply for Adoption”. Story
Meet Dee, a delightful young brown tabby with a sweet personality, an adventurous spirit, and a professional-level appreciation for cozy blankets. One of Dee's favorite hobbies is burrowing. Give her a soft blanket, a pile of laundry, or a comfy comforter, and she'll happily transform it into her own private hideaway. Don't be surprised if you find a mysterious tabby-shaped lump snuggled in the middle of your bed. When she's not perfecting her blanket fort skills, Dee enjoys exploring her surroundings, collecting treats from generous humans, and spending quality time with her favorite people. She's affectionate and social, always happy to stop by for pets and snuggles. But don't mistake her cozy side for laziness—Dee also has a playful streak and enjoys a good toy-chasing session when the mood strikes. Dee gets along well with other cats, does great with kids, and would likely do just fine with a calm, respectful dog. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for many different types of homes. Whether she's tucked beneath a blanket, investigating something interesting, or curled up beside you for a cuddle, Dee is ready to bring comfort, fun, and plenty of love to her forever family. Come see Dee at the Petco in Eden Prairie located at 8020 Glen Ln, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 Dee is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.
