Story
Our little Beans is a very cuddly kitty for her main person! She was rescued from a farm as a kitten and was very sick when we got her. She is healthy now! However she is not accepting of little children or dogs. And we have 3 small grandchildren that visit frequently and occasionally our grandpuppy visits too! Our Beans becomes very aggressive with the dog and very hissy and aggressive with the little children. We have had to put her in her room (our laundry room) to keep her separate from our guests. This is not a good long term solution for me. Sadly. I love my cat but our little human’s safety is more important to us. Beans would do best in a one or two person home that does not have dogs or children! Low chaos, happy cat. She is very playful when her humans play with her with toys and she actually fetches some smaller toys!

Story
Charlotte and Sterling are 8 month old sisters who need to be adopted together – double the cuteness and double the fun. Charlotte is a beautiful chocolate with white girl and has long hair and adorable tufts of fur in her ears. Charlotte is the social butterfly of the girls. She likes to be in the middle of everything - playing, exploring, watching what you are doing. If there is action, Charlotte is involved. She is a friendly and outgoing kitten and always ready for fun. She loves to play with the fleece wand (and all toys). Sterling is gray and white with lovely colors. She is an energetic explorer who is ready to pounce, play, and zoom. Sterling is athletic, clever, and curious - the kind of kitten who turns a cardboard box into a jungle gym. She loves to cuddle with her foster mom when she is done playing (and she purrs happily). They use the cardboard scratcher and a carpeted scratching post, and they enjoy looking out the windows at the birds and squirrels – it can keep them entertained for hours. The girls have not been around dogs in our program and would prefer a home without dogs. They are fine with the foster’s older grandchild, and they are too active to be adopted into a home with adult cats. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can provide them with a forever home. Charlotte and Sterling are spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Their adoption fee is $350 for the pair and must be adopted together. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about these adorable girls.

Story
GEORGE is a cute black and white boy with beautiful green eyes who is approx. 4 years old. He had an uncertain life after he was left outside to fend for himself. His fosters live trapped him and brought him inside to give him a new, secure life with plenty of food, toys, love and other cat friends. It took George awhile to adjust and come out of hiding but then, one day, he decided it was time to meet one of the foster’s own cats and that was the magic moment that George started his transition to trusting his fosters and new foster home. George is a sweet and playful cat who thrives in the company of other cats. He forms strong attachments and loves to cuddle with his feline friends, often curling up in bed alongside them. When he is not snuggling, George enjoys zooming around the house, either chasing toy mice or playfully interacting with another cat. When it’s time to relax, George can usually be found napping on the couch or in a cozy dining room chair. His journey began with a lot of fear - he was very scared of people and would hide and hiss whenever approached. Thanks to the patience and care of his fosters, he has made remarkable progress. George now feels comfortable enough to accept his favorite treat when hand-fed. Although, he is still wary of being petted or approached suddenly and may hiss or run away. With time and patience, he should continue to grow more confident. George has shown incredible resilience and has truly blossomed in a safe and loving home environment. To continue thriving, George would do best in a home with another friendly cat or two. He would be a perfect match to be adopted with Riley, another Second Chance cat currently living in his foster home. A home without children or dogs is required, and a home rather than apartment would be best so he doesn't have to transition again. George is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. His adoption fee is $175. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about the sweet boy.

Story
Zen and Benny are very cute 8 month old brothers. They are very sweet and friendly boys and purr happily when you pet them. Zen – He is mostly buff with white markings and gold eyes. Zen can be a bit reserved at first but once he feels brave, he plays with enthusiasm. He loves catnip toys. Benny – He is buff and white (more white than Zen) and also has lovely gold eyes. He is very curious and always has to check out what you are doing and be part of it. These two are a dynamic duo of fun and will make you laugh every day. Whether they are chasing toy mice, leaping off furniture, or playing with one another, Zen and Benny are always on the move. They are playful, adventurous, and full of curiosity - in the best possible way! If you are looking for double the entertainment and love, these boys are your guys. They both use the cardboard floor scratcher and also the carpeted scratching post. Watching the activity out the windows is very entertaining for these two. They have not been around dogs in our program and would probably prefer a home without dogs. They are fine with the foster’s older grandchild who is cat-respectful. They are too active to be adopted into a home with adult cats. Remember, cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can provide them with a forever home. Zen and Benny are neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. The adoption fee is $350 for the pair. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about these adorable boys.

Story
RILEY is a stunning girl who is approx. 3 years old. She is a beautiful brown and black tiger with emerald green eyes and is very sweet and gentle. Riley is happy to be safely indoors; it took her some time to feel brave and trust her fosters but she has blossomed into a wonderful cat. She loves to play with her toys – the ball in the ring that goes around, mice, balls, anything! She will happily come to you if you have a treat for her. When she hears the treat bag, she immediately stretches, then rubs against you or comes to you to get her treats. She sleeps on the bed at night but isn’t a big cuddler yet (that may come with time). Riley loves the other cats in the foster home and will take naps with one of them and hang out in the sunshine with them. She likes to be petted and purrs happily, and she loves to be brushed; although she gets scared if a hand surprises her in her face – she likes slow movements and gentle voices (she hasn't been around men). Riley is a sweet and beautiful cat who wants to be loved. She needs a quiet home without dogs or children and a patient, kind adopter who will help her slowly adjust to her new home - just as she has nicely adjusted to her foster home. She would also like a friendly cat or two in her forever home (she is in the same foster home as George so they could be adopted together). A home rather than an apartment is preferred so she doesn't have to move and move. Riley is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $175. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about sweet, gentle Riley.

Story
LEALAH is a beautiful 2 year old short-medium hair, white and black girl with adorable markings. She takes a little while to warm up and feel brave in her safe room but once she adjusts, she is a sweet and fun girl. Lealah plays with enthusiasm and really likes playing with interactive toys with her foster mom and dad. Lealah carries her toys around with her and she is learning to play fetch. She is a good conversationalist and will talk to you about her day. She really enjoys being petted. She loves to show her silly side, chasing around her favorite little fabric ball and rolling around. She is very smart and has mastered the treats puzzle! She loves companionship and is very inquisitive, wanting to be a part of any activity that is happening in the home. Once Lealah is tuckered out from playing, she likes to sit or lay by her foster and loves head scratches and you can hear her loud purrr. She really loves using (and laying on) the cardboard scratchers on the floor. Lealah enjoys naps in the empty spaces of her foster's built-in bookshelves. She also enjoys sitting and napping by the window and soaking up the sunshine and watching the activity. Lealah was previously in a home with cats but we don’t know if she liked that situation or not. She has not been around cats in her foster home. She has never been around dogs so a home without dogs is required. Since Lealah is shy at first, a home without children is her preference. Her adopter should be a patient person who will help Lealah adjust to her new home, and then she will become your best friend. Lealah is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and distemper and rabies vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Call 651-771-5662 to inquire about beautiful Lealah.
