Story
Crayola (known as Lola in her foster home) is a gentle, sweet-natured fluffy but petite cat with a calm and independent spirit that makes her a comforting presence in any home. She enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and can often be found lounging in her favorite cozy spots, whether it’s atop a box, curled up on a cat tower, or resting beside her favorite scratcher. She is very smart, gentle/and people-oriented. She loves laying on her foster mom's desk sometimes or snuggling on the chair with her. She is very responsive and will jump up when she hears spspsps. With her low-energy personality, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a peaceful, easygoing pet. She has a kind, tolerant nature that makes her great with children of all ages. Crayola has not met dogs while in rescue but she would likely be ok with slow intros. She also gets along with other cats if they have very slow intros. Separate spaces to start and gradual introductions are needed. Crayola is fully litter trained and has excellent indoor manners, making her an easy addition to her future family. One of her most endearing traits is her love of being picked up and held—she truly enjoys gentle affection and quiet companionship. Crayola can be a chatty kitty, she likes to voice her opinions and talk to her people. Since raising a litter of kittens, Crayola has developed a playful side, occasionally carrying toys and softly “talking” to them. She’s just starting to blossom, and her future family will have the joy of watching her personality continue to shine. Crayola Crosspack is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Toribia, a beautiful 1-year-old buff tabby with a gentle spirit and a personality that blends sweetness, playfulness, and independence. Toribia can be a little shy at first and loves having cozy hiding spots where she feels safe—don’t be surprised if her favorite places are tucked away in closets or under (or even on top of!) the bed while she settles in. Once she feels comfortable, Toribia’s playful and affectionate side begins to shine. She enjoys chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, and sharing cuddles—but always on her own terms, which makes those quiet moments with her feel extra special. Her energy level is a lovely mix of active and calm, making her equally happy during playtime or relaxing nearby. Toribia would thrive as the only cat in a quiet home where she can be the center of attention without the stress of other feline roommates. She may do well with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to respect her boundaries and let her come to them at her own pace. She is litter box trained and does best with a large litterbox scooped twice daily. Toribia is ready to find a patient, loving home where she can feel secure, adored, and truly at ease. Toribia is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Georgie is a one-of-a-kind girl with a big personality and an even bigger curiosity about the world around her. She is a vocal girl! This gorgeous grey and brown medium-haired beauty is equal parts sassy and silly, with a playful spirit that keeps life interesting. She’s always on the lookout for what’s happening next—whether that’s chasing a string toy, peering out the window, or investigating whatever you’re doing (because clearly, it’s her business too!). Georgie feels safest when she can perch up high and observe her surroundings, and like many cats, she just needs a little time to adjust to new sights and sounds. Rescued from outdoors just before a winter storm, she’s very grateful to now be warm, safe, and cared for. Georgie gets along with other cats with slow intros, or she would do well as the only cat in her home, where she can truly shine as the center of attention. While she hasn’t met dogs or kids in our care, her independent nature and preference for minimal handling suggest she’d thrive in a quieter home that respects her space. She’s not much of a snuggler, but she has her own quirky ways of showing affection—like gently licking your hands or feet and giving playful little nibbles. Currently on Gabapentin to help manage her anxiety, Georgie is looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in and feel safe. In return, you’ll get an endlessly entertaining, talkative companion who keeps you smiling with her nosey, energetic charm. Georgie is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Jeff: Your Personal Birdwatching Buddy Jeff is a 10-month-old black-and- white sweetheart with a goofy personality, a playful spirit, and plenty of love to give. This charming older kitten has mastered the art of balancing fun and relaxation, making him an easy companion for just about any home. When he's not chasing his beloved flying squirrel toy around the house, you'll likely find Jeff enjoying one of his favorite hobbies: birdwatching. A sunny window with a good view of the outdoors is his version of premium entertainment, and he can happily spend hours observing the world outside. He's also known for choosing some delightfully quirky lounging spots, including the bathroom sink and the couch—or even better, right on top of your pillow while you sleep. Jeff is affectionate and cuddly, loves being picked up, and genuinely enjoys spending time with his people. He's fully litter box trained and has excellent house manners. Although he hasn't met cats, dogs, or children while in rescue, his sweet and easygoing nature suggests he would likely do well with respectful introductions. Story
Meet Mama Shower aka Buttons! This sweet little lady had a rough start to life, but she has been a trooper. She is down a leg and may have some trauma to work through as a result, but she is still so eager to love and be loved. Shower is a petite, young adult cat looking for a calm, quiet home with a lot of patience and understanding to help her adjust to her new life. She is very nervous about new things, people, and places (who can blame her, really?) and requires an adopter who can respect her boundaries while she builds her confidence in a new environment. She loves head scratches and belly rubs, but it takes her a while to build up her trust, and she requires someone who understands that trust is an ongoing process for her. Fortunately, she is very food motivated and can easily be bribed with Churrus and wet food to help speed things along. She also adores other animals, and another calm, confident critter in the house will help convince her that her people can be trusted. Some other adorable Shower facts: She is a chatterbox and is always chirping about something. She will sit up like a prairie dog and "boop" you in the arm or face if she wants attention. She loves to (very playfully) nibble on fingers as a sign of affection. She is doing very well adjusting to life on three legs but does have a harder time with jumping, so will need lots of layers to help her explore. The bottom line is that Shower is a wonderful cat who wants to be loved, but she is still learning how to exist in a non-hostile environment. She will need time, grace, and patience as she learns to trust her new family. Shower is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Meet Pepper, a beautiful brown and white tabby kitten with a thoughtful, cautious nature and the sweetest soulful eyes. Born outside a tea shop in St. Paul to a feral mama, Pepper spent her first months learning to survive outdoors. Since entering foster care, she has made steady progress, but she's still learning that people can be trusted. Pepper is a quiet observer who prefers to watch the world from a safe spot rather than dive into the middle of the action. You'll often find her perched on a windowsill birdwatching, relaxing on top of the couch, or keeping an eye on her siblings' adventures from a comfortable hiding place. She enjoys wand toys, Cat Dancers, and playing with other cats once she feels secure. Pepper is not a lap cat and strongly prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. She can be fearful of sudden movements and noises and may greet people with a hiss before cautiously approaching. She occasionally accepts gentle pets, especially during mealtime, and her new family should plan to spend time with her while offering treats to continue building trust. Pepper needs a quiet, adult-only home. She is fully litter trained, great with cats, and tolerant of dogs. With patience, understanding, and plenty of time, Pepper will continue blossoming into a confident companion. Currently fostered with: Turtle, Greyduck, Lucy, and Wildflyer Due to her young age, Pepper needs to be adopted into a home with a littermate or another young and playful cat. Pepper is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.
