Story
Meet Jive! 🐾 Jive is a bold, playful, and super sweet brown short-haired boy who loves to be in the middle of the action. He’s got a ton of energy and a big personality to match — if there’s a feather wand or a tunnel around, he’s in it. When he’s not zooming through playtime, you’ll find him lounging by the window or basking in a cozy warm spot near the heat. This chatty guy isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts — he’ll vocalize when he wants attention or just feels like adding commentary to the day. Jive enjoys affection, but on his own terms (classic cat confidence). He’s fully litter trained, loves a good cat tree climb, and thrives with regular play sessions to help him burn off energy — especially since he can get a little talkative at night if he’s bored. Jive would prefer to be the only cat in the home, though he might do okay with the right calm companion. He hasn’t met dogs or kids in rescue, but would likely be fine with gentle introductions. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, expressive cat with a zest for life and a soft spot for cuddles and playtime, Jive’s your guy! 💛 Currently fostered with: Snuggles. I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. Adoption Fee: $250 + applicable tax MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking “Apply for Adoption”. Story
Meet Geri! Geri is a delightful one-of-a-kind calico with a mix of playful energy and calm charm. She’s curious and loves exploring every corner of her space, chasing toys, batting shiny objects, and soaking up sunbeams by the windows. Whether she’s playfully rolling around with a ball or lounging on the couch, Geri is a joy to watch. She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and is happy to be picked up, but doesn’t require constant attention—perfect for someone who wants a companion who’s affectionate yet independent. Geri has a quirky side too: she’s a little scared of moving alpaca slippers, possibly thinking the stuffed animals are real! Geri has not met other cats, dogs, or children, so introductions would need to be slow and patient. She’s fully litter trained, loves couches and beds, and her mix of active and chill moments makes her adaptable to many household types. She does have a minor allergy/asthma issue, but it’s manageable and hasn’t slowed her down—she’s still her playful, loving self. Geri would thrive in a home that can give her gentle attention, toys to explore, and plenty of sunny spots for relaxing. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, curious, and talkative companion who can keep you entertained and melt your heart, Geri might be your perfect match! I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who delights in cuddling and will happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly for hours. Playtime is one of Sylvie’s favorite activities—she especially enjoys interactive toys and a good scratching post to stretch and play. Sylvie has Asthma. She does not require medication at this time, but adopters should note that she may require treatment/medication for it later in her life. She’s a happy, loving kitten who’s ready to bring warmth, companionship, and endless purrs to her forever home. 🐾 Sylvie is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
George the Mighty Meower George is a mild-mannered, sweet boy, truly a joy to be around. He loves to bounce around with toys, especially kitty springs, chasing them in and out of cardboard boxes. He has great fun playing and wrestling with his siblings. In quieter moments he cuddles up and purrs. George will bring a lot of love to your heart and home. How did George come to be known as "The Mighty Meower"? It's because he's a true survivor. George was born under a suburban porch, and at two weeks of age fell down into a support piling where his mom couldn't reach him. George meowed mightily for days, until the humans at the house figured out what happened and ripped off their porch steps to save him. He was cold and scary thin, but alive. George returned to full health with a few months of loving care, and has fully caught up in size with his siblings. George the Mighty Meower is lucky to be alive, and you will be lucky indeed to have him as part of your family. George is currently fostered with Rocket Engine and he would love to be adopted with Rocket Engine or another of his siblings: Officer Katie, Pixel, or Toe Beans. George the Mighty Meower is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Meet Ichabod, a handsome young adult black cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Sweet, playful, energetic, and delightfully goofy, Ichabod brings joy wherever he goes. He loves interactive play and is always ready to chase catnip toys, pounce after anything that moves, or zip around following the laser pointer. After he’s burned off some energy, he’s just as happy to relax, curling up in a fluffy bed or hanging out close to his favorite humans. Ichabod does great with other cats and would enjoy having a feline friend to play with or lounge beside. While he hasn’t met dogs during his time in rescue, he would likely do well with a calm, respectful dog given proper introductions. He’s also wonderful with kids of all ages and has a friendly, easygoing nature that makes him a great fit for many types of families. Fully litter trained and fine being picked up (without needing constant cuddles), Ichabod offers the perfect balance of fun and companionship. If you’re looking for an affectionate, entertaining cat who loves both playtime and people time, Ichabod could be the perfect addition to your home. 🖤 I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.
