Extremely tame, very easy to care and does not take much time to open up to new owner; does not bite or attack you at all and very friendly. Opens up quickly but she is very shy cat; just gotta take things slow if she does not opens up immediately. Wants a lot of attention for herself, but as long as her needs are taken care of she will usually leaves you alone. Though one thing I will mind you is that she does not like to be brushed or handled much, though she will not attack you for not liking it. As for dog, for first few months do not let them get too close or else she will attack the dog She meows a lot if she needs attention or the needs are not fulfilled fast enough.

Story

Larry has been in the family for 7 years. He has lived successfully with another cat that was brought in about 4 years ago. He is a very timid boy, he likes quiet and his own people. A child (baby) was added in November of 2023 and as the child. The noise and chaos surrounding a growing child is more than Larry can deal with. His defense is to pee/poop outside the litter box. It is sporadic but has become more frequent. He has been on medication, a type of prozac that is rubbed in his ear daily. It has been somewhat successful but still has not solved the problem. Unfortunately, it has created a problem between the adults in his life and Larry living in the home is no longer an option. Larry is a wonderful cat, he does not scratch the furniture and has always been an indoor cat. He would do best in an adult only home. He probably would do okay with a mellow feline friend but would definitely be most happy as the lone king in a household. Please help us find Larry a home.

August is a beautiful black cat. He is about six years old. He has been my therapy animal for three years however it’s coming to my attention that he is an outdoor cat and I have a very hard time making him stay indoors when he does he brings me mice and birds and I know they are presents and that’s fine but my landlord said I can no longer let him go outside and they will not even let him go out on my front deck. He is a beautiful cat, but belongs in a home that can allow him to go outside sometimes. Other than that, he is very low maintenance. He likes items, cat food, and cuts, salmon, wet food. On occasion he sleeps by my head every night. He has been quite a comfort. I hope to hear from you.

Originally from Portland, OR. Theo is an indoors only cat that is very affectionate towards people. He loves chasing string as much as he loves curling into laps and being combed.He has been an only child his whole life and has had very few interactions with other cats. Since his humans have had a baby that is now stomping around the house, Theo gets very anxious and swats at legs when they get too near. Only once a serious scratching occured when cornered.Theo is accustomed to being pulled into a lap and having his nails trimmed with a basic nail scissors - so long as there are treats afterwards.Theo will come with food and bowl, litter box, soft carrier, standing cat castle and wall mounted cat shelves (if desired).Looking for short term re-homeing of 6-8 months.

Dewey is 16 and has hyperthyroidism. He is not on medication at the moment. I am moving in with my girlfriend who has a dog that is not compatible. It’s the dog not Dewey. He has been with other dogs and had a sibling until about a year and a half ago.
