Story
Frankie is a 10 year old, indoor cat who is shy, but verry lovey and cuddly with those that he trusts. He loves head and chin scratches, will cuddle your feet in bed at night, and is a wonderful companion for someone who is stable, does not have young children, and is not going to change their lifestyle dramatically. I got him when I was single, and sadly now that I’m married and we have young children and a dog, Frankie is just too stressed out to be happy in our home. We just had a Vet check up and he has a great bill of health, but the Vet recommended anti-anxiety meds, and we feel like Frank deserves a life where he won’t need medication to thrive. He is a smart, independent fellow who does enjoy playing, but then just prefers to be petted, haha! He adores canned tuna and eats mostly dried food, and he prefers sand / clay cat litter. He comes with cat litter, dried food, toys, a cat carrier, and two litter boxes, if you need them.

Story
Hi! My name is Sigmund and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on October 9, 2025.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know you!Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi! My name is Lilly and I am available for adoption!I was brought in by animal control after I was left in an apartment. During my transition to the shelter I became very terrified and displayed some challenging behaviors. I have had a very difficult and scary time at the shelter lately but once I was moved out of a kennel and into to an open room all to myself, away from other animals, I began to calm down and accept pets. Once I am more comfortable I love attention but only on my terms. Because of my behavioral challenges, I need to go to a calm, quiet home with a family that is VERY cat-savvy. I would also do best in a home with no children and as the only pet. I have had a stressful life so far and I am hoping to find the perfect home to relax and cuddle up with my new family. You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
This is smudge, a very sweet and very playful kitten sure to bring you lots of smiles. Prepare for a bundle of energy, playtime is never over unless he`s tuckered himself into a nap or food is being served. Seriously, this little man loves his food, so be careful he doesn`t eat himself sick. When naptime comes by, he loves to be pet and cuddled somewhere cozy and warm. He likes to get himself into trouble, but he also knows what no means and listens to it… usually. Not much can stop Smudge from at least trying, though, even if his clumsiness means he doesn`t usually succeed. Definitely for those who have more energy to keep up. I am currently in a foster home so please fill out a foster interest form if you want to meet me!

Story
Thumper is a bright, bustling girl, approximately 5 years of age. She has the classic stocky tabby body but with a unique bobbed tail, giving her the look of a mini-bobcat. Thumper is curious and confident with new people and warms up quickly, and will soon be chirping and doing dolphin-dives up to your hand for scritches. Thumper has medium energy, and loves attention and chasing her favorite cat wand. She also loves all things that radiate warmth, and adores curling up in a warm bed or in front of a fireplace. She is quickly learning to be a lap cat, and at night has been known to share her person`s pillow. Thumper was an owner surrender after being turned outdoors by her previous family. Thumper has suspected asthma for which she needs daily medication, and will require ongoing veterinary monitoring for this condition. She`ll need a non-smoking, indoor-only home. Thumper will be happiest as an only pet - she can be quite bossy with other cats, bordering on bullying. She can also get a bit feisty if overstimulated during play, and thus will do best in a calm home without small or rambunctious kids. It is not known how she would respond to dogs. Thumper would love to meet you and your household members! She is currently in foster care in a home in Lake Forest Park (near Shoreline). To learn more about Thumper or to set up a meet and greet, please fill out the Foster Adoption Interest E-form or contact the foster parent directly at jen.dunnaway at gmail dot com, or by text at 607 244 4288.
