Story
Meet Meli! Meli is a gentle and careful cat who appreciates a soft, quiet and warm home. He loves pets on his head, chin, and jaw. When he warms up to you he will plop himself on top of you when you’re watching a show or relaxing and has the sweetest purrs and grunts of appreciation. He has a difficult time with loud noises, sudden movements, and anything that may trap him (eg walking down a hallway when he’s there). Definitely needs a home that is softer, attentive of him, and lets him do his own thing sometimes. He is a vocal lad and will meow for snacks and purr for pets. He gets the zoomies occasionally and mostly at night time, needs a few litter boxes in different areas of the house, and loves specific treats. Also loves scratch posts (doesn’t tear up our carpet or cloth items thankfully but loves to claw). He will let you hold him/pick him up once he is familiar with you (and will jump when he doesn’t want to be held). He is around 4 years old.

Story
Sherbet is a playful, sturdy, and lovable boy! Impressively spry given his large frame, he loves head-butting humans for pets, playing with ribbons and toy mice, and being scooped up and carried! He has previously lived with other cats and dogs, and would do well in a home with plenty of affection & perhaps some hidey holes & cat trees to explore. We are still getting to know the rest of his personality, but can tell he has a lot of love and fun to offer! The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.  ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you`re understanding and patience. Meet Sherbet! We`re still opening up and getting comfy in our surroundings, come introduce yourself today!!HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal`s location. Story
I absolutely love this cat! He is a handsome beast of a tom cat and like so many boy cats that may seem a bit rough around the edges he is ridiculously affectionate and flirty. He is an absolute chunky lovebug with his big fat cheeks and black fur flecked with white. He loves nothing more than pushing his head into you for a scratch. Meet him daily from 1pm to 5pm except Monday, you won`t be disappointed.

Story
Titan came all the way from CA. He spent the first day sitting in his cat house observing his new home and would chirp gently if someone came to visit. Although he was still hesitant about coming out to explore he would gobble up wet food and temptation treats with gusto! After a day, once he felt safe he came out to explore. Now we are starting to see his very affectionate nature and hear his chirping and purring. He loves to rub his head on you and seems to be a social eater, which means he likes someone hanging out with him when it`s mealtime. He has the softest most velvety fur we have ever felt, really! He is really handsome and loves temptation treats! Meet him daily from 1pm to 5pm except Monday.
