Story
Meet Buttercup🧁 Buttercup had long been a stray cat roaming near Jeonju Shelter, receiving food here and there. One day, she was found with a severely injured back leg. Because of her timid nature, she was difficult to catch and hid under the office building for a long time, avoiding human contact. After much effort, ADogs rescued her, and she became a beloved companion at the office. However, with Jeonju Shelter now facing closure, Buttercup needs a new forever home. • With People: Due to her disability, she doesn’t actively seek affection but enjoys being held and sometimes licks her caregivers. • With Dogs: She doesn’t interact much with dogs but doesn’t get into conflicts either. • With Cats: She gets along well with her feline companion #ADogsCheese. • Separation Anxiety: She rests comfortably on her bed or cat tower when alone. • Potty Training: She cannot urinate by herself and requires regular manual bladder expression. • Litter Type: Uses tofu litter. ❗Health Status❗ • Due to delayed treatment, her injury became severe, resulting in amputation of her left hind leg and tail. Despite this, she is now active enough to play and move around comfortably. • She is unable to urinate on her own, so manual bladder expression is needed at least twice a day (morning and evening). More frequent care is ideal. If urine volume decreases significantly, she may require a hospital visit.

Story
Meet Gigi🖤🤍 💙 Gigi's Update Account: @ziziii0113 1. Health Condition * Spayed. 2. Rescue Story * Gigi was saved right before being slaughtered from a dog meat farm in Gongdeok, Gimje. At the time of rescue, she was confined to a cage, hidden under a cloth. After discovering she remained in a nearby freezer, rescuers believe she was likely next in line to be slaughtered. Fortunately, she was saved in time and is now living safely in her foster home. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is naturally shy and cautious around strangers. Feels comfortable enough to bare her tummy and relax with familiar caregivers. Comes next to them when bored. Is still a little uncomfortable with pets or being picked up, but can do a nose greeting. * With Cats: Coexisted peacefully with other cats without any issues at our center. * Hygiene: Is still fearful of human touch, having a hard time in accepting it. To help manage her claws, multiple scratching posts have been placed throughout her space. Is being lightly brushed with a brush she is comfortable with. * Personality: Is timid and very cautious, but generally well-behaved. * Has a habit of scratching textured wallpaper (especially those with a rough, bumpy surface), so caution is needed. * Is particularly fearful of objects or hands moving toward her face. Gets extremely stressed at the veterinary clinic and needs to be sedated for examinations. After a visit to the vet, she is so distressed that she refuses to eat for three days.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Halli💗 Halli was rescued along with her sibling #AdogsGally. Their mother was a stray cat who used to eat near our center. Sadly, after giving birth, she passed away from FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). Left alone, Halli and Galli were urgently rescued and brought to safety. * With People: Doesn’t hide or run away from strangers. With familiar people, she expresses affection by staying close and occasionally purring or showing her belly. I's a charming little flirt! Lately, she's become more vocal and affectionate, approaching with soft meows. Never hisses and is very gentle, even during vet visits. * With Dogs: Is not fond of dogs. Won’t attack but may cry or show signs of stress around them. * With Cats: Used to get along well with her sibling Gally. Currently living as a solo cat, she tends to be very wary of unfamiliar cats. * Hygiene: Loudly protests during baths but tolerates them. Is calm during brushing sessions. Doesn’t enjoy nail trimming, but if done quickly, she handles it well. Is very sensitive about her anal area — this part requires gentle care. Tolerates daily toothbrushing, even though she doesn’t like it much. * Doesn’t cry much, but when she does, it's usually to express affection with sweet little "meows." * Is gentle-natured but full of playful energy. Will sit on your lap but also enjoys her independence and can be alone comfortably. Recently, her affectionate side has really blossomed. * Loves hunting games, especially anything with a mouse-tail toy or fishing pole style wand toys. Is food-motivated and occasionally shows interest in human food, so supervision is necessary. * Is afraid of crinkly noises like plastic bags. * Really dislikes being touched near her anal area — caution needed there. ❗Health Condition❗ * Spayed. * Microchipped. * Used to overgroom, but her condition has greatly improved. However, potential allergies are suspected, so ongoing observation is recommended. * Occasionally has coughing spells, so she needs monitoring to ensure it doesn’t get worse. Meet Yoosol💝 💙 Update Account: @dongoyang_2 1. Health Status • Neutered: Yes 2. Rescue Story Yoosol appeared one day at the construction site of ADogs’ new shelter. The site was filled with heavy equipment and buzzing with dangerous activity. But Yoosol ran up to people meowing and rubbing against the director’s leg, as if saying, “Please take me with you!” The director couldn’t leave him behind, and that’s how he was rescued. 3. Personality and Behavior • With People: He likes people, but he may hiss at strangers if approached too quickly. Once familiar, he will show affection by snuggling and meowing sweetly. Get to know him, and you’ll fall for his charm. • With Cats: Gets along very well with other cats at the shelter. • Separation Anxiety: None. He doesn’t cling to people and usually seeks attention only when he wants something. • Litter: Uses tofu litter. • Grooming: Not a fan of nail trimming but tolerates it with treats. He loves brushing, but struggles a bit during baths. • Play: He loves fishing toys and balls, and can play for 2–3 hours non-stop! • Car Rides: No motion sickness during short trips. 4. Special Notes • Can do the “sit” command when treats are involved! • He’s food motivated and may try to eat human food, so supervision is needed. • Doesn’t like his belly or backside touched much. • Be cautious—he may try to eat treats with the plastic wrapper still on!

Story
Meet Smokey — Your Brave, Quiet Tabby with Zoomies, Climbing Skills, and a Love for Hunting! Smokey is a playful and adventurous grey tabby with beautiful white markings, born on July 11, 2024, as part of the adorable “S’mores” litter. His mom, S’mores (already adopted!) and we just couldn’t resist rescuing our namesake! Smokey is just as charming as his name suggests — full of curiosity, affection, and a little bit of mischief. This indoor-only kitten loves to explore, climb, and practice his hunting skills. He’s an expert at scaling furniture and loves to have zoomies around the house, burning off his boundless kitten energy. And when he’s feeling particularly playful, he’s ready to pounce on anything that moves! Smokey also has a natural instinct for hunting mice, so if you’re looking for a kitten with a little extra skill, he’s got it covered. While Smokey is usually a quiet kitty, he’s not shy when it comes to making sure his needs are met. He’ll gently paw at his food bowl or let out a meow when it’s time for a snack or when he’s thirsty. His sweet and calm demeanor means he’s not a loud, demanding kitty, but he certainly knows how to communicate what he wants! Smokey is friendly, social, and gets along well with other cats and dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet home. He’s curious, brave, and affectionate, and loves both exploring and cuddling. He’s ready to find a forever home where he can share his adventurous spirit, playful nature, and affectionate heart. Meet Hershey S’mores! Hershey S’mores is a playful, affectionate, and energetic black and white kitten who’s ready to bring fun and love into your home. Whether she’s chasing a toy or curling up for a cuddle, Hershey’s personality is as sweet as her name! Hershey’s Personality: Hershey is incredibly affectionate and loves being near her people—especially if it involves snuggling up on your lap. But don’t be fooled by her love for cuddles—she’s also a very playful kitten! Hershey loves to play fetch, and her absolute favorite toy is a ball. She’ll eagerly chase it, bring it back, and be ready for the next round of playtime. While she’s a bundle of energy when it comes to toys, Hershey has no interest in catching mice—she’s all about the fun with her ball instead! Hershey’s Perfect Home: Hershey would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles. She’s social and would do well in a household with other pets, as she loves having company to keep her entertained. Whether you’re playing fetch or relaxing together, Hershey will fill your home with joy and affection.
