Story
Say hello to Puck. A young cat who embodies the kind of perfection that quietly transforms a space into something extraordinary. Think of the first sip of a perfect cup of coffee … warm, comforting, and awakening all at once. The soft orange sherbet glow of a sunset in August, casting everything in mesmerizing light. Or the satisfying sensation of a ripe blackberry stain on your finger after an impromptu jump out of the car, roadside picking moment. Unexpected, a little messy, yet unmistakably sweet. Puck's personality is a collection of these moments—vivid, memorable, and entirely without pretense. From the moment he enters, it’s clear this dear kit isn’t content to observe from the sidelines. He’s eager—intensely curious about everything around him, an explorer with a heart full of wonder. He adores people with an exquisite, open-hearted enthusiasm. Whether greeting visitors at the door, curling up nearby after a day of exploration, or sharing a quiet moment nestled beside you, he has a way of making companionship feel effortless. Every part of Puck's personality shows he’s eager to belong and be the best friend cat who brings a vibrant, steady force into a life that adores him. If you’re looking for a cat with a big heart and big love ... Puck would like to have a word with you.Haiku for PuckGray fur and bright eyes,Curious leaps and warm purrs,A friend for all days. Story
Say hello to Ember … a breathtaking slipstream of a kitten. She is gleam and glide. The kind of beauty that sneaks up on you and makes her mark. She’s gregarious in an effortless way and fluent in friendship. Walk into the room, and she’s already at your ankles, quickly closing any space that was between you.Ember moves with purpose. Usually the playful kind. She studies the feather toy with the seriousness of a physicist, calculating the exact trajectory needed to intercept its flutter. And when she springs, she is one part grace and one part wild joy, but all Ember. She’s a dedicated birdwatcher, too. The window is her cinema, the sparrows her morning programming, with the Douglas squirrel that sometimes comes into view, the cherry on top of her naturalist moments. Above all, this dear one thrives on company and real connection. And because her best life will include living with another young, social cat to share secrets, mischief, and mid-afternoon wrestling matches, she needs to be adopted as a pair with one of her littermates. However, we’ll consider a single adoption if there’s another gregarious feline waiting at home to welcome her into the fold.Haiku for EmberPerfect little oneeyes charting her next bright leapwarmth in motion shines.NOTE: We require indoor-only care for our adoptions.

Story
Say hello to Banjo … a delicious year-old cat who is pure charm. A soul who rounds out the edges of the day and always makes it better.Banjo is a big letter “E.” Engaging. Easy. Endearing. He is one of the first to make friends with new cats that come into the shelter, and loves a big cuddle puddle cat pile or a tandem run on our giant cat wheel. Banjo is also the first to greet people when they come in the door, and he follows with a dance of leg-rubbing, play invitations, and slow-blinking love gazes. This special boy radiates goodness and an uncomplicated joy that curls itself in your lap and purr hums. He’s loyal without being clingy, curious without chaos, and generous with love in all directions.Banjo is looking for a home where people are home more than not, and because he is a social butterfly, he needs to be adopted with his sibling, Puck, or into a home with another young, gregarious cat to become his new best friend. Story
Say hello to Daisy. A cat who is the poster child for the kind of transformations that happen at Haven, thanks to our team of fiercely dedicated and heart-driven volunteers. When Daisy first arrived, she lived a bit like a whisper … tucked under the couch, perched on high shelves. Hissing was a common communication. Fear was her language, and safety meant staying out of sight. Then our amazing team set about changing that world. With proven socialization practices, unhurried hands, calm voices, and patient consistency, they offered Daisy one gentle invitation after another … a slow blink, a soft brush of fingertips, a toy waved just within reach, and oh so many treat and food sessions. Each love-filled action became a stepping-stone path toward trust.Today, Daisy greets you with a robust head-butting leg rub when you enter the room. Her days under the couch have been left behind. And the hissing has been replaced with loud purrs. Wow. And … this very special girl is now available for adoption. She is affectionate, loves to play, reminds you when treat time is missed, and is aching for a special someone to call her own. Daisy will need a home where her new people will continue to support her wallflower cat blossom. But what a reward there is to have such a gorgeous and shining girl in the family. Questions? Story
We are needing to re-home our girl because husband has been diagnosed with a chronic neurological disorder and with two kids we can no longer give her the love and care she deserves. Clementine is a sweet old girl originally from Wisconsin. She is now almost 15 years old. She grew up in a house with another cat and dog, both of which are no longer with us. She is good with other animals and with young children. She loves food and can be a bit sassy with meows when she is hungry. She likes to laze around in sunspots and cuddle up in her bed during her days.
