Story
Say hello to Puck. A young cat who embodies the kind of perfection that quietly transforms a space into something extraordinary. Think of the first sip of a perfect cup of coffee … warm, comforting, and awakening all at once. The soft orange sherbet glow of a sunset in August, casting everything in mesmerizing light. Or the satisfying sensation of a ripe blackberry stain on your finger after an impromptu jump out of the car, roadside picking moment. Unexpected, a little messy, yet unmistakably sweet. Puck's personality is a collection of these moments—vivid, memorable, and entirely without pretense. From the moment he enters, it’s clear this dear kit isn’t content to observe from the sidelines. He’s eager—intensely curious about everything around him, an explorer with a heart full of wonder. He adores people with an exquisite, open-hearted enthusiasm. Whether greeting visitors at the door, curling up nearby after a day of exploration, or sharing a quiet moment nestled beside you, he has a way of making companionship feel effortless. Every part of Puck's personality shows he’s eager to belong and be the best friend cat who brings a vibrant, steady force into a life that adores him. If you’re looking for a cat with a big heart and big love ... Puck would like to have a word with you.Haiku for PuckGray fur and bright eyes,Curious leaps and warm purrs,A friend for all days. Story
Say hello to Ember … a breathtaking slipstream of a kitten. She is gleam and glide. The kind of beauty that sneaks up on you and makes her mark. She’s gregarious in an effortless way and fluent in friendship. Walk into the room, and she’s already at your ankles, quickly closing any space that was between you.Ember moves with purpose. Usually the playful kind. She studies the feather toy with the seriousness of a physicist, calculating the exact trajectory needed to intercept its flutter. And when she springs, she is one part grace and one part wild joy, but all Ember. She’s a dedicated birdwatcher, too. The window is her cinema, the sparrows her morning programming, with the Douglas squirrel that sometimes comes into view, the cherry on top of her naturalist moments. Above all, this dear one thrives on company and real connection. And because her best life will include living with another young, social cat to share secrets, mischief, and mid-afternoon wrestling matches, she needs to be adopted as a pair with one of her littermates. However, we’ll consider a single adoption if there’s another gregarious feline waiting at home to welcome her into the fold.Haiku for EmberPerfect little oneeyes charting her next bright leapwarmth in motion shines.NOTE: We require indoor-only care for our adoptions.

Part of our Rock Star litter, he has that unmistakable teen spirit energy. He’s lanky in that growing-into-himself way, and a 100% cutie pie who loves to play. Not in a wild, chaotic way — but with focus, an abundance of joy, and that irresistible “I’m still a kitten” determination. A toy, a crinkle, a moving shadow … he’s all in. Always. Ozzie is also a candy-sweet cuddler. Affectionate in an easy way. A cat who will come in close, lean in, head butt and stay. And then there’s that amazing face that carries a slightly surprised, curious expression -- a wide-eyed look that always feels like he just discovered something fascinating… or is about to.Ozzie is also wonderfully social with other cats and will need to be adopted with a littermate or into a home with another young, playful cat. He’s still becoming, still unfolding — but it’s already there. That sweetness. That spark. That little bit of extra that makes him so very special. STEVIE IS A BONDED PAIR AND WILL NEED TO BE ADOPTED WITH HER SISTER WONDERNOTE: WE REQUIRE INDOOR ONLY CARE FOR ADOPTIONS. THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT OUR APPLICATION AT WWW.HAVENRESCUE.ORG/CATAPPLICATIONSay hello to Stevie and Wonder … Bonded sisters who are at that pitch-perfect in-between kitten time. No longer tiny, not quite grown. Now available for adoption.Equal parts softness, curiosity, and something quietly striking. Not flashy. Not chaotic. Just… right.Stevie moves first. She always does. She’ll call you to her with slow blinks and purring, then invite you to her post at the window ...narrating the birds and squirrels in the maple branches like it’s a shared project. She wants you in it with her. Not as an observer, but as a partner.Wonder takes a beat. But just a small one.She reads you for a whisper of a moment … and then she’s there. A deliberate weave around your legs, an insistence on closeness. Her attention placed with purpose. They are playful, of course ... turning even the smallest scrap of paper into something worth chasing. But that’s only one layer.Because just as easily, they settle and are always up for a digging in love session. On your lap.Across your chest.Curled into you and into each other, steady and complete. They are close. And they are connected. They check for each other. They settle near. They move through the same space. But in this space ... Stevie opens the door, and Wonder deepens the room.Together, they are inviting you in. Story
Say hello to Banjo … a delicious year-old cat who is pure charm. A soul who rounds out the edges of the day and always makes it better.Banjo is a big letter “E.” Engaging. Easy. Endearing. He is one of the first to make friends with new cats that come into the shelter, and loves a big cuddle puddle cat pile or a tandem run on our giant cat wheel. Banjo is also the first to greet people when they come in the door, and he follows with a dance of leg-rubbing, play invitations, and slow-blinking love gazes. This special boy radiates goodness and an uncomplicated joy that curls itself in your lap and purr hums. He’s loyal without being clingy, curious without chaos, and generous with love in all directions.Banjo is looking for a home where people are home more than not, and because he is a social butterfly, he needs to be adopted with his sibling, Puck, or into a home with another young, gregarious cat to become his new best friend. NOTE: We require indoor-only care for our adoptions. The first step in our process is to fill out our application at www.havenrescue.org/catapplicationSay hello to Simon. Sometimes there are cats that are so special they defy a pathway of easy words that can actually capture and convey their magic.  That's Simon. Stunningly gorgeous with a unique look. A sum of parts. Captivating and sublime. Although a bit of a wall-flower boy at heart, Simon has blossomed and now quickly welcomes even strangers into his love field, so long as they give a proper hello and give him a moment to take them in. And oh my, when you get the full invite into his world, it is truly something to behold. His favorite cuddle is across your chest, full melt, head tucked, with a constant rhythm of gentle paw kneading. Meditative, magnetic …  with a full love-blink gaze always. This gentle boy also loves to play and adores pretty much every cat he meets. Because having cat friends makes his world hum, he will need to be adopted with one of the other young cats at Haven (including his brother, Garfunkel), or into a home with another young and gregarious cat looking for a tight BFF.   Bringing Simon into your world means life with a quiet alchemist. His hello transforms and rewrites the day's tempo into a delicious cadence, and while he won't demand the spotlight,  this beautiful revelation of a cat will rearrange the shape of your home and your heart.
