Story
We got our pet from a private home as a new kitten in November 2019. Oreo is 100% an indoor cat. He mostly sleeps all day, and loves a good blanket and lap to lay on. He meows for his wet food as we wake, and again for dinner at 5pm, although we do leave dry food out for him all day. Oreo uses the litter box, but is picky that it’s clean. He would do well in a clean and organized home where the humans were present more. He is nervous around strangers & usually hides while we host guests. He does warm up to people who are more frequent visitors. Our lives are excessively busy with kids’ sports and a lot of travel. We feel rehousing him would be best at this time. He doesn’t require a lot of attention, but loves to snuggle right after his meals as a thank you.

Story
They are siblings and we got them 3 weeks after they were born. Tasha (White) is a female and Loki (Tuxedo) is a male. They have just turned 1 as of May. They’ve bonded and we’d love if they were adopted together. We’ve realized we couldn’t give them the level of care they truly need like vet visits and vaccines. We’re hoping that we could find a family that can give them that and their love. They are the sweetest and smartest cats.

Story
Mister is six years old and belongs to my sister-in-law in Burien, WA. She's in the hospital in Seattle and is transitioning to home hospice care in Arizona where my wife and I live. My sister-in-law actually has three cats, and my wife and I are planning to bring two of her cats with us while we care for her. However, Mister is an outdoor cat that comes and goes to my sister-in-law's apartment to eat and sleep when he wants. While we can take-in her two indoor cats, Mister really needs a home--or farm--where he can go outside. I don't really endorse letting pets roam freely in urban or suburban areas, but apparently Mister's current home borders a wooded area, and he has managed to survive and thrive for many years in this environment. All three cats remain in her apartment for now. We will be in Seattle beginning 16 August, possibly returning to Arizona by 26 August. We could facilitate an adoption beginning around 17 or 18 August and extending to around 26 August.

Story
Poka is an Amazing kitty , she is now 3 years old and she is the sweetest indoor cat. We had her since she was a baby and we share a lot of amazing memories with her . Due to our living situation we had to move in with family members and my niece is allergic to cats and also asthmatic. We also can’t afford to take care of her and it is a really sad situation because we want poka to be able to walk around her home without worrying about others. I do not like to keep her in a crate and sometimes I have no choice but to keep her away from my niece . It would be nice to find a loving and spacious home where she can roam around freely. She is a well behaved cat and potty trained. She does not bother anyone . She deserves a good home. If you are interested and consider yourself a good cat owner please contact me, I also have all her kitty stuff for free. Thank you.

Story
HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY DOB 8/26/22 Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a very affectionate, delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I can't get enough time to spend with Foster Meowmy, so I sleep with her and am always asking her for cuddles, especially when I don't have to compete with the resident cats for her attention. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling. I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms. HOPE ID 23-1014-A047 Lollis is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
