Story
Meet Peanut  Peanut is a 4-year-old male Cowboy Corgi (a Corgi and Australian Cattle Dog mix) weighing about 30 pounds. With his compact size and big personality, Peanut is the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal companionship. Peanut has grown up in a loving home and is known for his sweet, easygoing nature. He gets along well with other dogs and has been great with kids, making him a wonderful potential family companion. While he hasn’t been around cats yet, his friendly temperament suggests he may adjust with proper introductions.  He has been trained to go on wee wee pads and will be assessed to see if goes outside on a leash too.  Sadly, Peanut’s mom has become ill and can no longer care for him, so he is now looking for a new family who will give him the love and stability he deserves. He’s a devoted little guy who bonds closely with his people and will happily join you for walks, playtime, or just relaxing at home.  He comes to NJ toward the end of March, excited to meet new people.  If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly dog with a big heart in a perfectly sized package, Peanut may be the one for you. He’s ready to start his next chapter with a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them.  To adopt Peanut, please go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application and complete the application on a laptop or computer. If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Well, sometimes we get the most unusual phone calls. And they pull out our hearts with the intensity of need, even if they are a thousand miles away.  Trooper and some of his friends from New Mexico have entered our world of trying to help.  There's a small shelter in a very small town in New Mexico. That has very few people come by to adopt. But yet the drop offs continue to build, and adoptions do not match the number of dogs in the shelter.  A very dedicated and passionate rescue woman that drives her own independent, forty foot tractor trailer, moving loads of cargo in freight from state to state, from job to job, has learn that she must stop in at that shelter and check out what they have on the euthanasia list. She is an independent lady who champions the underdogs.  She gave Critter Cavalry a call and told her about a number of small breed dogs that are under twenty pounds that need a rescue to sponsor them.  Critter Cavalry signed up to help. Troop is one of many small breed dogs that are Tweenies or Corgi mixes that are beautiful inside and out and need homes.  Trooper is a beautiful boy who is six months old and weighs about fourteen pounds and will most probably top out at 20 as an adult.  He will arrive in Nashville, Tennessee early on March 23 and readily be vetted and microchipped.  He will be adoptable within days.  If you are interested in giving this sweet boy a beautiful life and future, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 24, 2026, 10:09 pm

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Victor❤️ 💙 Victor's News Account: @jjamooong._ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and completely recovered from heartworm. * Due to a small fracture in her right molars and tartar buildup, special care is taken to brush her teeth. 2.) Rescue Story * Victor was rescued by an Adogs volunteer while she was tied up tightly in a gravel lot. When found, she had clearly been neglected for a long time — food that had gone bad was piled next to her, and she looked frightened. But as soon as she felt safe, she wagged her tail and approached. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Might bark briefly when strangers visit, but this has improved recently. Wags her tail and asks for petting when she meets strangers during walks. Acts cute and flops down comfortably when being petted by familiar people. Loves cuddling close to people. If you come home, she will hurry out to welcome you warmly. Is reactive with people who are running towards her, but she quickly stops if you tell her no. * With Dogs: Gets along well with her foster family’s dog. Previously, she got overstimulated when seeing other dogs on walks but through training, she now calms down quickly and focuses on treats. Growls at first when she meets a dog at a dog friendly cafe, but stays still when they keep their distance. Is possessive of toys and sometimes tries to threaten other dogs when they play with her toy. Is getting training to fix this behaviour. * With Cats: Although she growls at cats on walks, she stops quickly and passes by if you tell her to go. * Separation Anxiety: Experiences anxiety when left alone, barking and scratching at the door. Does not feel separation anxiety when with other dogs or strangers though. * Potty Training: Is very good with using pee pads. However, she remembers the first spot it was placed, so consistency in pad location is key. Prefers to go outside if possible and marks with her pee only when outside. * Hygiene: Does excellently with baths and toothbrushing, and enjoys brushing. Does not like having her ears cleaned, so mouths at her foster parent’s hand as a warning without biting. Is very afraid of nail clipping, so it’s mostly handled through walks. * Walks: Gets aggressive when birds or cats pass by. On days when she’s feeling irritated, she lunges with overstimulation and doesn't calm down when she sees other dogs. But on good days, she immediately refocuses on her guardian upon being called. Tends to pull on the leash hard only when other dogs are around or if she’s in a rush to potty. Is reluctant to go for walks on dark or cold days. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness during a two-hour drive. * Caution is required as there may be defensive (warning) biting if she is suddenly pushed to the side, if someone puts their face too close, if picked up abruptly, or during ear cleaning. * Doesn’t bark even at strangers outside the door as long as they don’t ring the doorbell. Barks briefly when family returns to home. * Loves food very much. While this used to lead to some sensitivity (resource guarding) around other dogs in the house, this behavior has improved significantly. * Understands commands such as 'Sit down', 'Lie down', 'Turn', 'Nose', 'V', 'Paw', 'Wait', and 'Kiss'!

Story
Coco is a sweet girl who will steal your heart once she gets to know you...just look at that smile! She will take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she will be your best friend forever. Coco loves belly rubs, snuggles, playtime in the yard, playing fetch and going for walks. Coco finds city living a little too hectic, and is not suited for apartment living. She will do well in an adult only home...a house with a fenced in yard. She is a little snobby and can be dog selective when it cones to choosing canine buddies. Coco would appreciate a dedicated, enthusiastic companion who will work on building her trust, and she will return that love and trust twofold.Be sure to complete an application on line and come to our Meet & Greet Saturdays 11:30-1:30.
