Story

Lucy showed up in our yard around 2 years ago. She’s extremely sweet and playful, if not a little anxious, and was extremely attached to us and our other dog. Come last year, and she started acting out against our other dog which forced us to make the decision to re-home her. She’s still extremely affectionate but she is a high energy dog and we do not have the time to work her like she needs. She absolutely loves kids and a good game of ball, but she likes to shred soft toys so be warned. She’s the biggest cuddle bug and would love to live in your skin if she could.

Story

She was found as a stray roaming our yard. She was thin and we wanted to giver her an opportunity. Unfortunately, she does not get along with one of our other dogs. They’ve gotten into a few scuffles and their relationship seems nearly impossible to mend without a behaviorist, which we cannot afford. We think she would do best in a single dog home with loving humans. She can be extremely sweet and loving. She’s very playful and full of energy. If she didn’t randomly growl at our other dog, we’d keep her. We fear they’d get into another fight we can’t break up. She has been living in her kennel majority of the time and it’s not fair to her. She deserves a proper home.

Bleu is a very sweet boy. He is 5 years old. He loves chew toys and loves hiking! Bleu can be reactive towards small children. He was mistreated the first three years of his life by a bunch of kids. We have worked on this and he has become okay on leash around children. He will need an experienced owner. Although he likes adventuring, he enjoys his lazy days as well. We rescued Bleu a year ago but are unable to keep him due to a house fire and us having to move, along with additional personal issues.

Boris a purebred karakachan shepherd, 1.5 years old. We got him to watch over our flock of chickens. He is a farm dog through and through and has never lived in a house. Unfortunately, we are having to move and cant keep him. He will need a lots of outdoor space, a flock to guard and an owner experienced with intelligent, independent breeds.

This is Piper, my sweet Piper Girl. She is a 9 year old American Bulldog / American Pitbull Terrier mix. She is a sweet, energetic dog that loves to play and will play until she tires herself out. She loves playing fetch either with a ball or frisbee but good luck getting it back from her. She also loves to cuddle and lay near her people. She likes to help with household tasks, even if she’s mostly just in the way. She’s cautious of new people and things but will eventually warm up, especially if it’s an environment she’s familiar with. She’s also not always the brightest dog, but she’s incredibly loyal and listens to commands. We are looking for a new home for her because while she’s sweet as can be, she’s not great with children. She doesn’t realize the size difference between herself and little ones. I want her to go to a home where people have the time and energy for her and have a yard for her to play in. She deserves happiness and a loving home. She’s truly a sweet, loveable dog.
