Story
Maddie is a 7 month old Border Collie / Bernard mix. I took her in to find her forever home when her owner didn't want her and allowed her and siblings to run neighborhood. This pretty little girl is a sweet natured, energetic, and very smart. She loves being pet and loved on. She is good with kids, other dogs, and cats (she trys to play with our cat) She is a little shy at first until she gets to know you. She is looking for a home with a fenced in back yard so she can run and play. She is also crate trained at bedtime.

Story
I got Stalle from a friend whose dog had just had 12 puppies, she is 3 years old ( March 19, 2020). Im rehoming her because I will be starting to study for medical school and don't have the time to spend with her. She loves people, especially kids, and it would be torture if I kept her home alone. With work and studying afterwards she will be home alone for about 10 hours a day. She is just a sweet, caring dog. She is well-behaved and trained. She knows all the basic training and also she knows "go upstairs, go outside."

Female, young
Birmingham, AL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Layla's owner planned to take her to Birmingham Humane Society but since my daughter knew they were overfull and also other rescue groups were full too, she offered to foster the dog and try to find her a new home. She has been with us several weeks and we have determined she likes other dogs and leaves the cat alone. She is still much a puppy with lots of energy and wants to run and play hard. However, she is not destructive and potties outside consistantly. Her owner took good care of her - she's up to date on vaccines, spayed and is heartworm negative. We already have a house full and cannot keep another dog but hope to find her a good home. She would be a good hiking buddy.

Story
Axel is a 6 year old pit/boxer mix. He was rescued from an abusive home when he was 2 years old. He’s very well house trained as I work 12 hour shifts and he has never messed in the house. Axel is very smart, he chooses to not eat or drink if home alone, and he is not destructive. He likes to chew on his chew toys and sleep in a comfy spot when alone. He only barks when someone knocks on the door or if someone is seen in the yard, however he stops when told to stop. He knows how to sit, lie down, speak, and shake. Daily walks are his favorite, along with cuddles. When he learns the boundaries of the yard, he never leaves it so he does well with non fenced yards. He’s very praise motivated and picks up on your mood quickly. Since I have become pregnant he’s started guarding me and we’re having a hard time mitigating the behavior. We don’t want to rehome but we’re worried he may be in an environment he can’t thrive in, as he recently bit a family member that was visiting.

Needs experienced adopter,
Story
This is Taz he is a 3yo boxer and Pitt mix. He was a family dog then I moved out and when i would come to visit I saw they were taking the best care of him and they are very unfit to care for him . He is a playful, sweet, protective boy who might be timid around new people. If he finds a new home I’m looking for someone who can have him a veterinarian and he’ll have plenty of room to run around. He has never been around children.
