Story
I am physically unable to take care of Dallas. He is in need of a home that has adults and no small children. He is cage trained and will not go in the house as long as he is taken outside. He understands the following words: Cage Outside Stop No Eat He is very laid back and can adapt to the environment of the household (I.e, sleeping late if owner does) He will go to the door when he needs to go outside. He has bitten (but didn’t break the skin) my nephew when he did not want to be bothered. He will be very aggressive when someone comes into the room, but will quiet down once the person has been there for a while.

Asher is a great, sweet dog. He has been through obedient training, is well behaved, and loves to please people but energetic. He’s been great with people, other dogs, and cats. We think he would be great with kids, but he has not been exposed to many.

Story
Meet Tigger 🐾 Tigger’s story is one of resilience. Since 2021, he’s been in and out of the Charleston Animal Society, where he was adopted, returned, and picked up again. Most recently, he came back in heartbreaking condition: emaciated, with mange, injuries that suggested he’d been through cruelty, and a spirit that still refused to give up. Despite all that, Tigger has a heart full of love and a zest for life. On walks, he’s a gentle old soul who loves soaking up nature right by your side. Once inside, he transforms into a playful goofball—tossing his toys in the air with wild delight before settling down for cuddles. He knows when to be silly, how to be affectionate and he knows when it’s time to chill. ❤️ Tigger is determined when it comes to affection, lol. When he wants love, he’ll make sure you know it, and he’ll happily curl up next to you once he’s gotten his fill. He will thrive best as the only dog in the home, but cats are perfectly fine—he’s lived with them before. ✨ About Tigger • Resilient survivor with a big heart • Calm and easygoing on walks • Still enjoys some playtime indoors with toys, but loves to snuggle after a few minutes of fun • Best as the only dog • Cat-friendly • Loyal, affectionate, and ready for a true forever home After everything he’s endured, Tigger deserves a family who will see him for who he truly is: a survivor, a loyal friend, and a loving companion who’s just waiting for his “ONE” perfect match. 🏡💙

Story
Meet Nala, we found her on the side of the road as a puppy, her friend had been hit by a car :( . We have loved and adored her from day one. I was in college when we took her home. After graduating we moved to a small apartment and tried to make it work. It was not a happy life for her unfortunately she would wait by the door for us and cry until we got home. So we decided to let my family who we previously lived with to take her back in. She unfortunately had an incident after months of living there with their dog. We have never seen her have issues with other dogs, but the other dog is smaller and was injured. We believe it was over a bone. They have gotten a new dog and since that dog has come home we were notified they are wanting to get rid of her. So we are taking her back but have an even smaller place now and a newborn and no time to walk her like we should :(. She is super sweet and loves our kids, she just needs some love and attention we can’t give right now.
