Story
This is Piper, my sweet Piper Girl. She is a 9 year old American Bulldog / American Pitbull Terrier mix. She is a sweet, energetic dog that loves to play and will play until she tires herself out. She loves playing fetch either with a ball or frisbee but good luck getting it back from her. She also loves to cuddle and lay near her people. She likes to help with household tasks, even if she’s mostly just in the way. She’s cautious of new people and things but will eventually warm up, especially if it’s an environment she’s familiar with. She’s also not always the brightest dog, but she’s incredibly loyal and listens to commands. We are looking for a new home for her because while she’s sweet as can be, she’s not great with children. She doesn’t realize the size difference between herself and little ones. I want her to go to a home where people have the time and energy for her and have a yard for her to play in. She deserves happiness and a loving home. She’s truly a sweet, loveable dog.

Story
If you’ve ever dreamed of a dog who believes personal space is overrated, Tilly might just be your perfect match. She is a certified Velcro dog—always happiest when curled up beside you, leaning against you, or volunteering as a lap warmer. Once Tilly chooses their person, that bond runs deep and loyal. Tilly is affectionate, gentle, and thrives on one-on-one time with their humans. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working from home, or heading out for a walk, she will be right there, soaking up every moment together. This pup does best in a calm, predictable environment where they can feel secure and connected. When it comes to other dogs, Tilly can be selective and prefers slow, thoughtful introductions. They may do best as the only dog in the home or with a compatible canine friend who respects their space. Because of this, continued guidance, structured introductions, and an adopter who understands dog body language will help her feel confident and successful. Tilly is house trained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out a non-binding application at forrescue.net and her foster mom will be in touch.

Story
Meet Lexi 🤍 Lexi is a 6-year-old Staffy mix with a beautiful white coat. This sweet girl has been through a recent life change and is now looking for a forever home where she can truly be the center of someone’s world. Lexi is friendly, affectionate, and loves her people. Once she knows you, she’s all about attention, pets, and simply being by your side. She has a playful side too and enjoys interacting with other dogs outside of the home—but when it comes to her space, Lexi would really prefer to be your one and only pet. 💖 Lexi’s ideal home: ✔️ No cats (they’re not her thing) ✔️ Preferably no other dogs in the home due to food/treat guarding ✔️ A home where she can get lots of love and attention ✔️ Access to a fenced yard or doggy door (she’s used to indoor living with freedom to go out) ✨ More about Lexi: • Housebroken and well-mannered in the home • Spayed and up to date on vaccines & preventatives • No ongoing medical needs • Not a fan of crates—she’s used to free-roaming indoors • May need pre-medication for nail trims, but otherwise does well at the vet Lexi came into her current home after her beloved owner passed away, and while she’s been cared for lovingly, she deserves a permanent home that fits her needs. She’s happiest when she can soak up all the affection and be someone’s loyal companion. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving dog who will happily be your shadow, Lexi might be your perfect match. 💕 📍 Currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama and available for adoption through Friends of Rescue. 👉 Apply to give Lexi the loving home she deserves! Story
My name is Tucker. I am a big, lovable, and goofy puppy. I love nothing more than to get love and cuddles from my human. I also love to play outside. I am crate trained and almost completely potty trained.I would do well in a home with another dog my size. Because I am a big puppy, I wouldn't be a good fit in a household with small children. Although I love my foster home, I can't wait to find my furever home. I am being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area but am available to the right home via transport. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention. Apply at https://forrescue.net
