Story
Max is a very sweet young adult who does well around other dogs. We do keep him separate during feeding times and are working on feeding with friends around- he tends to be food dominant/aggressive. We found him starved and very malnourished. He is house trained and responds to his name, will sit for treats and enjoys snuggles!

Story
💔 Heartbreaking decision. We are rehoming Kiddo, our loved 3yo, 30lb spayed mix raised since 6 weeks. After fostering a pup, a sibling dog developed maternal aggression and targeted her. Kiddo is NOT the aggressor; she needs a safe home. She's sustained injuries that required vet visits & reunification efforts have not improved. 🌟 About Kiddo:People & Kids: She absolutely loves kids and all people—except delivery drivers, whom she will eagerly alert you about!Dogs & Cats: She loves other dogs and adores playing with her cat sibling (zero issues).Personality: Playful with epic zoomies, yet an incredibly affectionate, deep cuddler.Routine: Crate trained. When free, she needs 3–4 potty breaks daily to prevent accidents. No Chickens: High prey drive for poultry; no neighbors with chickens, please!Health: Up-to-date on shots. She's known as the "belle of the ball" at her vet and boarder, she’s a healthy, cute & in need of a family that loves her as much as we do.

Story
Meet Hank. 76 pounds of pit bull and pure tank of love. Someone dropped him off without a note and drove away. He should be wary of people after that. He is not. He still trusts every human he meets. Hank is active with a chill streak. He loves a mix of short runs and long walks, so if you want an outdoorsy partner, he is your guy. He loves car rides too. He is loyal and family-focused. He has been tested with big kids and does great. Someone home for part of the day will suit him best. When Hank claims you, he tells you so with outgoing playful gentle nipping. He does the same with other dogs he likes. It looks bigger than it is. It fades as you get to know each other, but you should know about it in advance so the first time you see it you do not read it as something it is not. He is laid back, but if another dog comes at him aggressively, he will defend himself. That is honest, not a red flag. Most dogs do this. Things we cannot confirm yet. He has not been tested with cats, so do not assume he is fine with them. We are not 100 percent sure on his crate training history. And he is hesitant on slick flooring, so a household with rugs and carpet will be an easier transition than one that is mostly hardwood or tile. If you have been waiting for a loyal, active, 76-pound pit bull who wants to spend the next decade making you his favorite person, Hank is yours. Story
Meet Maverick! Maverick is a handsome, nearly 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier/German Shepherd mix looking for his forever home. He’s house-trained, loves walks, chasing tennis balls, and knows sit, down, and “give me five.” Smart, athletic, and food-motivated, he’s eager to learn. We’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old, and he was raised with our children, but he hasn’t been well-socialized outside our immediate family. He’ll do best with an experienced adopter who can provide structure, continued training, and positive socialization. Maverick forms strong, loyal bonds and especially connects with women. We know that with patience and the right home, he’ll become an incredible companion. This has been a heartbreaking decision, and we’re committed to finding him the loving home he deserves.

Story
Meet Cookie ❤️ It is with very heavy hearts that our family is looking for the perfect retirement home for our sweet girl, Cookie. This is one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. Cookie has been part of our family since our son was just 5 years old. He is now 21, and she has spent nearly her entire life surrounded by our love. As life has changed, so have our schedules. We are now empty nesters with demanding careers and ministry responsibilities that often keep us away from home for 10 or more hours each day. Cookie deserves more companionship, attention, and time than we're able to give her. While we've explored options like dog walkers, living in a rural area has made that very difficult. Cookie is a gentle, loving senior dog who enjoys the simple things in life. She's slowed down with age and would thrive in a calm, peaceful home where someone is around more often. We believe she'd be happiest with a retired individual or couple, or a family with a slower pace of life.

Story
Bella is about 6 months old, white with a black patch over her left eye, and a Pit mix. She is playful, loves kids, gets along with other dogs, and is comfortable indoors and out. The photo of her perched in a baby high chair watching the room tells you exactly the kind of curious girl she is. She has lived in a fenced yard with her brother Rebel. She has not been tested with cats. Bella is still a puppy, so she needs training, structure, and a family ready for the work that goes into raising a great adult dog. We are placing her through Managed Rehoming and learning more about her as she settles in. She does not have to be adopted with Rebel, but they have lived together their whole lives. If you have room for both, that is the easier transition for them. All of our adoptions are spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Animal-Angels Foundation is a Best Friends Network Partner, which connects us to the largest lifesaving network in the country.
