Story
She is energetic and sweet. Loves the owner and feels a lot of loyalty to the owner. She needs her own person without other dogs because she can be a little territorial but isn’t territorial with people. She does like other dogs she just doesn’t do well with food & toys around them. She also knows sit, shake, and stay. She has a shock collar that is only used on the buzz setting and listens very well to it. She is potty trained and knows to go to the door when she needs to go.

Story
Locum was a rescue dog from the humane society that recently turned three years old. Locum is a very friendly and playful dog and he is great with kids. As our two boys are getting older and their schedule is keeping us busier and busier with their activities after work and school, Locum is not getting the regular walks and attention he deserves. Locum is looking for a new home where someone can walk him regularly and hang out with him more in the afternoons.

Story
About 2 years ago, I adopted Skye via the foster program at GBHS. This sweet girl immediately came out of her shell once I took her home. Though shy with humans at first, she will become your best friend once you give her a chance to know you. She loves to run, so she needs a backyard with plenty of space to play in. Gets along well with other dogs, too.

Story
I rescued my dog over a year ago from the Birmingham he Humane Society he was found tied to a stop sign so sometimes when I walk him when cars pass, they startle him. very close to you. He’s never gotten into anything in my house at all. He loves baths. He loves to be close to you , he’s very gentle but he wants to be with me all the time and I live in apartment and when I leave him, he barks and I have a brand new grandson and he needs my help. he loves to be rubbed and likes to rub up against things when it& he hates it when it’s windy outside he hates the wind. what it is about the wind, but he does not like the wind.i loves the bath! He’s a really sweet dog and loving dog. I hate to have to get rid of him, but help reasons and family reasons. I just can no longer have them…..

Story
Roxie is a sweet puppy from the humane society. She is 8 months old. We adopted her a few months ago and shortly after I realized I am allergic to pet dander and hair. I’ve tried to adjust but we need to find her a new home. She’s gentle w other animals, barely barks. She needs more training for house training and not pulling when you walk her. Roxie likes to run and play. She’s been good with our cat too. Not aggressive at all. She’s close to full grown. The vet doesn’t think she will get much bigger. Great w other dogs. I’ll include her heartworm meds for free too!
