Story
She is energetic and sweet. Loves the owner and feels a lot of loyalty to the owner. She needs her own person without other dogs because she can be a little territorial but isn’t territorial with people. She does like other dogs she just doesn’t do well with food & toys around them. She also knows sit, shake, and stay. She has a shock collar that is only used on the buzz setting and listens very well to it. She is potty trained and knows to go to the door when she needs to go.

Story
Dill has resided in a loving family of 3 children (13, 8, & 5) and 2 parents in Mtn. Brook, Alabama since the fall of 2021. He is crate-trained, goes on long walks and short runs, and loves to be with his people. We adopted Dill at 6-months-old from a well-known adoption agency in Alabama. He was born with a litter of brothers and sisters, all of whom were named after characters in To Kill a Mockingbird. Dill is precious--kind with our children, attentive and in-tune with us (his parents). He is smart and obedient, responding appropriately to commands to place, stay, sit, fetch/retrieve and comes. Dill can be anxious and needs support when meeting new people. Once he knows people, however, he is friendly. Unfortunately, due to our family's needs and upcoming move, we are not able to give him the life and support that he deserves. We'd love to find a loving home for him.

Story
We have had Joe for about 8 years. He is the sweetest to ever exist. He is calm and snuggly, and loves a daily walk or quick run around the yard. He does not shed. He is crate trained, and does best when put in his crate when no one is home, and at night (if left out he gets anxious). He is a great security system, as he barks at anyone who comes to the door, though quits barking as soon as anyone comes inside. He couldn’t hurt a fly, loves everyone who loves on him. We are only rehoming because everyone in the house has full time jobs/school now, and we feel bad leaving him home for 8+ hours a day, especially since he is crate trained. Other than that, he takes no special care, and is quite easy.

Story
Locum was a rescue dog from the humane society that recently turned three years old. Locum is a very friendly and playful dog and he is great with kids. As our two boys are getting older and their schedule is keeping us busier and busier with their activities after work and school, Locum is not getting the regular walks and attention he deserves. Locum is looking for a new home where someone can walk him regularly and hang out with him more in the afternoons.
