Story
We got her at the Dekalb county shelter in Ft . Payne , Alabama . on January 22 nd .We have a 10 year old chihuahua and they are just not getting along with each other . Gracie is ok with our chihuahua but since our chihuahua has been an ( only ) dog for the last 10 years , she is hesitated in being friends . The chip Gracie has does have our information on it . She is well behaved , and sits on comand .she wants to run outside and we don't want her to get lost because we live in a country setting , thus part of our delima with keeping her . This dog is sweet so if you can help , we will appreciate it as we really don't want to take her back to that shelter . We are willing to travel if its under 100 miles to transport this dog if we find her a new home . 🏡

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Rosita or also known as Rosie is the mother to eight other dogs that were surrendered to the shelter to be euthanized. Luckily someone was at the shelter and heard what was happening and stepped up to save them all! Rosita is a very sweet and affectionate girl and  deserves to live a happy life with someone that will give her the love and attention she deserves. Rosie loves hanging out with her humans and would love a nice warm home to spend her days lounging around inside. She just loves going on her daily walks. She rides very well in a car or just sitting with her humans. She has gone to adoption events and is very well mannered Rosie is spayed, up to date on all her shots and has been started on monthly prevention for fleas/ticks/heartworms and parasites. Five of her puppies have found forever homes and now its her turn to find a loving family. Could that be you? We think Rosie would do great as an only dog in the home or one other dog for companionship. She would make a great companion for someone that is home-bound and would not require daily walks if unable to take her out. She does do very well on a leash however. Please fill out an application to adopt @ https://www.ffosk9resq.org/    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   July 11, 2024, 3:59 pm
