Story
Oh, hi! My name is Rolli! I was out in the county with my sister Hilly and we were soooo lost! Finally we were able to get someone's attention by hanging around their property a day or so. Anyway, Animal Control came to pick us up and we have waited at the shelter our allotted time and are now ready to find our forever homes. I am a retriever mix. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I hope you will make an appointment to meet me and my sister!

Story
Oh, hi....my name is Raymond and I'm sorry to say that I was let down by my owners. I was with them for several months. When they brought me to the shelter to turn me in, I was emaciated. You could count all of my ribs and my backbone stood out. I was so hungry and sad. When they turned me, I didn't know what was going to happen. Would this place be like the home I had just come from? Would I sleep in a crate all day and all night and still not get enough food? Would anyone say a kind word to me? Would anyone give me a loving pat on the head? Well fortunately everyone jumped into action when I was signed over. A nice big dog run awaited me with a big bowl of food and a comfy bed so my skinny body would not rub on the concrete floor. I am still in the healing process and slowly putting on some much needed weight. I am shy and sweet and my tail thumps whenever anyone acknowledges me. I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am still underweight, but we are working on that! I would love a soft place to "land" while I continue to improve. I wish I could find my forever home, but I would also gladly go to a foster home while I regain my weight. I am loving, sweet, and have great potential to be someone's "bestest" friend!

Story
Hello, my name is May. I am a sweet girl that was rescued as I roamed around a neighborhood. A kind stranger brought me to the shelter to wait for my family to claim me, but no one ever came. Then I was able to go up for adoption and then "Oh Happy Day!" I was adopted! I stayed with my new family for several months, but then they moved to a new place and I couldn't go with them. So I am looking for a new home again! I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am what they call a "teenage" puppy. Work with me and help me be the best "pup I can be!

Story
Oh, hello, I'm Duchess! I am a beautiful "teenage" Rottweiler mix that is hoping to relocate soon. I was adopted several months ago, but my new family just didn't have time to work with me and you know teenage puppies need their owners to train them and give them plenty of exercise. So I am back hoping to find just the right combination of love and fun in my new home. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. If you think you might like to meet me, just go to our website at www.montgomeryhumane.com and fill out the adoption application and send it in online. Someone will contact you to set up an appointment to meet me.

Story
Hello, I'm Dingo! You are looking at a very handsome two-year-old Carolina dog! I was wandering in a neighborhood near the zoo one day looking for food and shelter. Someone saw me and called Animal Control for a pick up! I was glad to ride in to the shelter where I was given a large dog run and a big bowl of food! What a relief! After waiting my allotted time I am now ready for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am ready to meet some new families! The volunteers say that I am a great leash walker and I love to chase tennis balls! Also I am a "leaner!" I like to lean against you and just get some good petting and rubs! Why don't you set up an appointment to meet me! I think you will be surprised at how sweet I am!
