Story
**This is a Courtesy Listing - Good Karma Pet Rescue does not have this pet** Onyx is a 7 year-old neutered lab mix, weighing around 50 lbs. He has overcome significant hardships... surviving euthanasia and being found malnourished on the streets in Miami, FL. Onyx has a heart full of love to give. He may take a little time to warm up, but once you gain his trust, he is incredibly sweet and loyal. Onyx is obedient with the commands he knows and is pretty low maintenance. He loves walks and being outside, but he is always down to hang out and get some belly rubs. Onyx would thrive in a home with a yard where he can explore and play. He would do best in a home without young children and with a very submissive dog, if any. No kitties! Onyx deserves a second chance at a forever home. Please consider adopting this handsome fellow! This is Latte. She has tons of energy and loves to play. She’s very friendly and she’s an attention seeker. She loves to get belly rubs and sit on your lap. She plays with other dogs but sometimes gets rough. She is learning to be potty trained. She does pee on newspaper. She likes sleeping in her crate but we keep the door open. She’s looking for a family that will take care of her and give her lots of love. She walks well on a leash. Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. Story
Meet Sweetheart – Your Future Adventure Buddy and Couch Cuddler! Sweetheart is a 50-lb Shepherd mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. This high-energy girl is always up for a good time—whether she’s running, jumping, or hunting lizards in the backyard, she’s got the spirit of a true explorer. But don’t let her playful side fool you; when the day winds down, she’s just as happy to snuggle up and snooze by your side. Sweetheart gets along with other dogs with a proper intro. She thrives with an alpha big dog or charms every small pup she meets! She’s got her basic commands down pat, rides like a dream in the car, and has stellar recall, making her the perfect companion for outings or just hanging out at home. No need to worry about escapes or chewed-up shoes either—this loyal lady prefers to stick close to her human and is non-destructive, so no crate required. While she takes a little time to warm up to new faces, once she trusts you, you’ve got a friend for life. Born in the rescue and still waiting for her forever home a year later due to some tough luck with adopters, Sweetheart is ready to find the family she’s been dreaming of. Could that be you? If you’re looking for a devoted, adventurous, and cuddly companion, Sweetheart might just steal your heart! Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. Story
Nubz is the happiest little Chihuahua puppy you’ve ever met! He’s special because of his personality, but he’s also special, because he was born without 2 front paws. He doesn’t think he’s any different & he loves to jump from one doggie bed to another & pull himself around the house. Nubz loves people & cuddles up on the couch with you and he will play with small/medium dogs or other puppies and gets along with everyone. He’s a little watchdog when strangers come to the house but if you love on him, he immediately loves you right back. He goes potty on a pee pee pad. He has a set of wheels that he’s getting used to and needs practice for 5- 10 minutes multiple times during the day. He will gladly sleep in bed with you and lets you know he needs to go potty by walking around in bed, but he will also peacefully sleep in his doggie bed in a pen. He prefers someone to be around him during the day and not be left alone… Who doesn’t? DOB: 10/15/2024 Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip.
