Story
Vivian is a very sweet and calm old lady. Her vision and also her hearing are limited. She needs daily eye medication, but is able to learn her way around and really loves to be taken for a walk on a leash. She would also let you know when she needs to go outside. Doesn't play, but is happy if she can sleep in her own bed close to her humans. Despite her vision and hearing problems, she is a very happy little dog who only asks for a little love for the rest of her life. She doesn't see with one eye and doesn't hear at all, but she compensates by being a very sweet and calm little dog. She doesn't know how to play and is not interested in any toys. She likes to sleep most of the time in her own bed, loves food and begs for human food which sadly she cannot have. The good eye has cataract, but she is able to find her way around even in the backyard. When she is not sleeping, she is a happy girl trying to run around and get your attention. Gets along with cats and dogs by completely ignoring them. 10 years old - 16lbs Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Story
Meet Zane, a resilient and transformed pup who once suffered on the streets, but found his way to Good Karma Pet Rescue. Once a timid stray, Zane spent over a year patiently waiting in his kennel at the Good Karma Pet Adoption Center, often overlooked due to his initial fear of people. However, a positive turn came when he was welcomed into a foster home near Gainesville. In this nurturing environment, Zane underwent a remarkable transformation, overcoming his anxieties and gaining newfound confidence. Today, Zane is a different dog - open to trusting new people and ready to embark on a lifelong journey with his forever family. Could you be the one to offer Zane the loving home he deserves? Zane loves to cuddle with his people, sunbathe outside, and go for nice long walks where he can find all the best smells. He has a huge personality and will always keep you smiling and laughing! **Currently being fostered near Gainesville, FL** Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. Story
Meet Dolly! Dolly is a senior gal who was found tied to the front gate of the Good Karma Adoption Center. She was in bad shape, had looked like she'd recently had multiple litters, and her legs kept on collapsing on her. She had clearly been used to a human's benefit, and then dumped. Fast forward a few months later, Dolly is more lively than ever and her legs are feeling great! We are slowly chipping away at Dolly's medical needs, and she's feeling better and better by the day! The only thing she needs now is a forever family to love her as much as we do! Dolly would be best as the only pet in the home, that way she can get all the attention! She loves to cuddle and be near people, and she is extremely calm and gentle. She'll be the perfect senior sidekick for anyone looking for a little company! Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Story
This elderly gentleman desperately needs a home of his own. Unfortunately his previous owner was placed in a hospice and Rusty found himself without his person. He is not doing well in the kennel and just seems sad most of the time. He does enjoy his walks or hanging in the yard with someone. It would be best if Rusty is the only animal in the household, so if you are looking for an easy dog to just sit with you and watch TV, then please come meet this guy and help bring some joy into his life.
