Story
MEET ELLIE ~~~ (living in Ocala, FL) SWEET - SWEET - SWEET (and gentle). This little lady was found at the dump in Ocala in 99 degree weather with an empty bowl and neck burns from an outgrown collar.   Good Sams with 4 dogs of their own rescued her - and 3 weeks later she gave birth to 11 pups! -- Puppies have gleaned alot of attention and always get adopted - but we are looking for the VERY BEST home for her!   She is approx. 2 years old, full grown at 25 lbs., potty trained, healthy, up to date on vaccines. She well behaved with a sweet and loveable temperament PLUS she is DOG FRIENDLY. She has never had any formal training - but she has learned how to play - and now walks well on a leash.  Not sure YET about cats or children.  She loves car rides and sits in the seat like a human!   She has been fully vaccinated, HW negative, spayed and micro-chipped and is ready to go to her new 'forever home'.    Adoption fee $150.   Interested in adopting? Contact: Grateful Paws Dog & Cat Rescue - www.gratefulpaws.org   or jmilbyer@gmail.com for an application to adopt.          October 2, 2023, 3:58 pm

Story
HERCULES (calm and gentle) and his siblings (5 sisters and 5 brothers) were born on 7/26/2023.  Their pregnant mom had been abandoned at the local dump in Ocala in 99 degree weather - no water or shelter and her collar grown into her neck!  Thankfully, she was rescued and 3 weeks later gave birth to 11 chubby and healthy pups.   YES, HE IS STILL AVAILABLE. The adoption fee of $250 covers several wormings, 1 & 2nd set of puppy shots, neuter and a microchip.  With an approved application, he's ready for his new home.  Please email for an application: info@gratefulpaws.org --OR -- download one from our website:  www.gratefulpaws.org.  NOTE: Adoption fees are applied towards the vet bill: exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, and microchip. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet - who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.October 2, 2023, 3:58 pm

***COURTESY LISTING for NAIA'S RESCUE*** MEET LAMBEAU This handsome fella is an 11 lb. Maltese who is 9 years 'young' and is great health! No health issues.  His biggest issue is he is territorial and doesn’t like to share his human.  Someone with experience with protective and territorial dogs is important.  His ideal home would be with NO children and not a lot of visitors.  ***A few FREE sessions by our trainer will be provided with adoption to insure a proper transition for Lambeau and his new family. He is neutered, fully vetted, microchipped and is waiting for his new forever home.  He walks well on a leash, is NOT an excessive barker and is well behaved when left alone at home.  He gets along with other dogs (ignores cats) and loves his daily naps and snuggles. Right now, he is thoroughly enjoying his days at a doggie daycare…  If interested, please apply at www.naiasrescue.org Please download an application:  www.naiasrescue.org NOTE: Adoption/rehoming fees are applied towards the vet bill: exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, dental if necessary, and a microchip.
