Story
Miss Violet is a sweet old lady who we inherited from my elderly aunt when she passed about two years ago. We've done the best we can to integrate her into our home, but she and our young English Bulldog get along, and it's no longer a safe or sustainable situation for her. I'm hoping to find a calm, loving, 1-dog (her) home where she can be adored and cared for in her elder years. BASIC FACTS: - 11 years old (birthday in September) - Purebred Frenchie - up to date on shots and vet care, although her teeth need some love - House-trained (elderly tho so needs reg. potty breaks) - Knows and follows all basic commands - Comes w/ a full month of food, a crate, food and water bowls, dog bed, toys, and treats - Fine with 1-2 *short* walks/day PERSONALITY: - Very sweet - Velcro dog - Loves to cuddle for hours and will sleep with you - Goofy and dorky - Anxious - Good with people (indifferent to kids, but fine with them) - Easy to travel with - Doesn't like to be left alone, will bark

She loves to clear all of the toys out of the toy box! She is not at all destructive, she is playful and affectionate with her humans and canine siblings. Kira is a typical Female German Shepherd; she will bark at strangers when they enter your home or approach you on a walk. She is great with other dogs in the home. She is crate trained, fully potty trained and walks well on a leash. She will do best in a home with no small children to accidentally knock over. . You must be familiar with the breed to adopt. Kira loves going to daycare and playing with other dogs, big and small.. she loves them all! (No cats) We would love to find Kira a home in a country setting with low traffic coming in and out of the home. She loves to play with her foster canine siblings, so other dogs in the home would be great!  Kira is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.  If you are interested in adopting our Beloved Kira, please fill out our adoption application. Story
You can apply for Bella at https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/ &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Bella is an 8 year old, 57 lb Dutch Shepherd Mix Female that we rescued from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control. Her owners surrendered her because they could not afford to care for her. Bella arrived at the shelter in visible distress and with obvious signs of a vaginal infection. It was soon determined that Bella had bladder stones and a UTI. The shelter performed surgery on Bella and removed an astounding amount of 22 bladder stones! Bella now requires prescription Royal Canin Urinary Dog Food to avoid future stones from forming. She is a super sweet and affectionate dog, who would benefit from an adopter who is home most of the day and has no other pets. She is the perfect dog for a retired person with a fenced yard. Bella walks well on a leash, but she will pull to chase a lizard or squirrel. Bella has the most soulful eyes, she is longing for someone to connect with and keep her safe and loved for her golden years.  Bella is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. She is currently being fostered in Lake Worth Fl. If you are interested in adopting Bella, please fill out our adoption application. February 8, 2026, 12:42 am
