Story
I brought this 7 lb cutie home with me after acquiring her from my sister. The plan was to temporarily foster her until we could find a suitable home. The time has arrived to find this super sweet, energetic, fur-baby a new home! My new job requires extensive traveling and I did not think it was fair to this fur-baby to be boarded for weeks at a time. She is vaccinated for rabies, has had a recent dental cleaning, on typical heartworm, flea and tick meds and is spayed. She's crate but not yet house trained. The best suited fur-parent/s have experience with Chihuahuas, love to play often and love lots of cuddles. She behaves most like a Chihuahua in terms of energy and demonstrates classic Shih Tzu curiosity outdoors. She is VERY friendly but please be cautious with children and dogs. She has slight anxiety and may whine at times. At home, she is extremely quiet when settled in her environment. My deepest desire is to see this amazing pup in a loving home. Interested? Text or collie me!

Story
You can apply for Aggie at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. Aggie is an adorable American Pit Bull Terrier puppy born approximately August 14, 2022. Aggie is a very sweet boy, but he is shy in new places with new people. It takes him a couple days to warm up. In his foster home, he is super outgoing, playful and LOVES to cuddle on the couch with the other resident and foster dogs, or next to you. He loves to wrestle with other dogs or play tug-o-war with a stuffed animal. He is fully crate trained.  If you’re interested in adopting Aggie, you must own your own home, with a fenced in backyard. He is completely pootty trained. He will do best in a home with another active dog, to help bring out his confidence or in a home with not a lot of foot traffic (a couple or single person). He needs someone that is patient and will continue to work with him....Are you ready to meet this handsome boy? Aggie is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Aggie is being fostered in Pompano Beach, FL. For more information contact kate@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 754-366-3669. You can apply at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.November 4, 2024, 4:51 pm

Story
Ben is a 11 year old, loving senior, male American Pit Bull Terrier. He was found lying lifeless on the side of the road by some good-hearted Firefighters. Ben was emaciated, his skin was irritated from food allergies, he was missing a lot of hair due to obvious long term flea infestation, his eyes were covered with green mucus due to not being treated for his dry eye condition, he was also in daily pain from bilateral entropion. He has pressure sores from lying on hard surfaces and arthritis in his hind legs. The one thing, true to his breed, that the monster who previously owned him did not damage, is Ben’s gentle soul. Ben loves every person and dog he meets. He enjoys going for short walks and lounging in a cool spot outdoors for a short while. He is now accustomed to living the good life and prefers a big comfy dog bed over the cold hard ground. He does have food allergies, so his diet is somewhat limited. Ben has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal and heartworm tested negative. His skin has healed, his hair has grown in, he had bilateral entropion surgery and is on medication for his dry eye condition (this will be a lifelong issue). Ben was barely able to stand in January, but has since been taking Cosequin and Collagen powder daily. Today, when he sees his food bowl, he can hop up and run as fast as any other dog in the house! Ben is definitely hard of hearing, but his eyesight and sense of smell is in tact! He just wants love and a safe place to sleep.. which is what he does most of the day.   Ben is being fostered in Lake Worth, FL. For more information contact wendy@ladyluckanimalrescue.com or text 845-913-6523. If you have compassion in your heart and room in your home to give Ben the life he deserves for the time he has remaining, please fill out our adoption application. https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/March 30, 2025, 6:48 pm

Story
Marco is a sweet, 15 lb Rat Terrier born approximately 1/24/2022. He was found as a stray and was very scared when we first received him. We sent him to Board Training to gain confidence and decompress and get some much-deserved TLC. Marco has now graduated from his training and has flourished into a snuggly, happy dog! He is good with other dogs (cats unknown), but prefers to hang out with his humans. He LOVES kids! He is potty trained. He’s an easy keeper in a house or an apartment. Are you ready to meet Marco? Marco is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, fecal and heartworm tested negative, and dewormed. Story
Ernest is a year and a half. He is the most perfect well-behaved puppy. He is crate trained but I only put him in his crate when necessary. He stays in his home without a crate and will not chew on furniture. He loves playing with other dogs. He is a very social guy and will do well in a household with another dog as he gets lonely. He also loves to be outside and loves to run so a house with a yard is ideal for him.
