Story
4/30/24  3 year old DD is still waiting for her furever family. This sweet and quiet girl has come such a long way with our incredible foster after being found in Miami left to fend for herself for months. She loves playing fetch with her foster brother, loves playing with her kong tovs and taking in all the smells on her walks. She loves her crate and is a very easy and calm dog. DD thrives and is playful in the company of other dogs so another dog is a must for DD as well as a very secure fenced in yard. She needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Because she is so auiet and calm she is ideal for someone who works from home. Won't you take a chance on DD? She has been waiting a super long time. 3/5/24.   DD is improving every day. She is a sweet, low maintenance, quiet girl who will be a perfect playmate for another pup. She loves to play with other dogs and is learning to play with dog toys and becoming more affectionate with humans. Fence required for our previously stray pups.  1/12/24. She is a sweet, quiet and gentle girl who was found wandering alone in Miami fending for herself.  She  is learning to trust humans again with help of her foster brother Ollie.  She walks nicely on a leash.  She likes other dogs, big and small and is quite playful with them. Unknown about cats . A patient loving adopter who understands her and gives her time to trust will be ideal adopter for this beauty.   12/9/23  DD. This beautiful shy young dober girl was wandering the Redlands alone for months before being rescued by DRL. Who knows what suffering she may have endured. She is very sweet and timid, but with love and patience will flourish. She will do wonderfully with a dog. She kissed other dogs through the fence and likes both males and females. 8/6/23 Found in Redlands, trapped and very frightened.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
2/16/24.  MAKO is wondering why no one has come for her yet. This gorgeous 1 year old is as sweet as can be. She finds herself at the rescue because she wasn’t doing well in apartment setting and would benefit from a large yard to run and play in. She has been with our amazing trainer and is impeccably trained, likes other dogs and is a total lovebug not to mention adorable No cats or young children for MAKO. Get your apps in for this gem. She is ready to go home! 01/04/24 This is Mako she’s a sweet girl can sometimes be a little timid around people. She has sensitive skin. Very well behaved and her obedience is immaculate. She will tear up dog beds so it’s best to give her an elevated dog cot or thick padded quilt. I would like her to be in a home with Older children 12 and up. Other dogs would be acceptable too if meet and greet goes over well. Very food motivated. She weights roughly 40 pounds super tiny girl.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). 3/22/24  Nike is still here. He is an incredibly smart, driven, 5 year old male. He is food motivated and is a fast learner. He is looking for a home that can help him reach his full potential as he is very smart and eager to please. He is obsessed with balls and will carry them around. He seems fine around other dogs, non reactive, unknown about cats.   2/15/24. Meet NIKE. This 5 year old good looking dober boy came to us from the shelter so we don’t know a lot about his back story.  We are still getting to know him, but he is very sweet and docile and non reactive to other dogs.  He loves his treats and will catch them mid air, he also loves balls and will carry around tirelessly. Even if he gets a treat he will still hang on to the ball while getting the treat.  He keeps a clean kennel and seems eager to please.  Cats unkown.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). 4/27/24. Meet Leo! This adorable 1 year old Dobie boy is looking for his furever family.  Leo is a volunteer favorite at the rescue as he loves playing with everyone and is super sweet.  He gets along great with other dogs outside but in his home he prefers to be the only dog.  He is not a big fan of cats.  Leo can sometimes be wary of meeting new people so needs an experienced doberman owner who understands the breed and their quirks and can help him  overcome this. He is incredibly smart, eager to please and very loving.  He will make a great addition to the right family. 1/4/24. Welcome Leo to DRL he is a love bug and is ready for a new home. Story
5/8/24  Hi I'm SPENCER and I'm looking for my furever family. I'm a one year old very sweet dober boy that DRL rescued from MDAS with demadex. I went into foster while I healed with a wonderful lady and 5 year old boy who I loved, and then went into training for some leash manners. Now I am ready to go home! I love children, walk nicely on a leash and am very smart and treat motivated. Although I seem to like the other dogs at the rescue thru the fence, I prefer to be the only king canine in your home. Cats unknown so I would rather not. Did I mention I'm absolutely adorable? If you're looking for your new best friend ask for SPENCER! I'll be waiting with tons of love to give you.  4/1/24 Beautiful SPENCER is looking for his furever home. This loveable pup came to us from the shelter with demadex and then went into foster to heal and then off to training for some leash manners. He is now back with us at the rescue and ready for his furever family. He is not only adorable, but very sweet, smart and well trained. Loves children, cats unkown. Get your apps in for SPENCER. 02/17/2024 Say hello to SPENCER!  This gorgeous loveable 1 year old dober boy is ready for his furever home.  He came to us from the shelter with demadex but after couple months and with the help of his incredible foster he healed beautifully.  He is a sweet goofy playful dober pup that gets along with children and has been working with our trainer to brush up on his leash manners.  He would benefit from a house with a large yard to run and play in as he is young and active.  Cats unkown.  Get your apps in for this beautiful boy!  Huge thanks again to his wonderful foster.  Fostering saves lives.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). Story
4/11/24  This sweet girl is doing amazingly well in foster care. Once she’s spayed she will be ready for adoption.  She is very loving, playful and affectionate.  Likes kids, cats and select calm dogs.    3/21/22.   Cleopatra (Cleo) was saved by a Good Samaritan couple that took care her for a couple months, nurturing her back to health. She arrived today so now she has a rescue that will find her a new furever home. She is on the shy side but will warm up with patience. She was living with another dog and a cat (she will chase if outside). We will continue her skin treatment. She already gained weight, from 56lbs to 61lbs. Cleo needs to get vaccinated and spayed and we will learn more of her personality to help match her with an adopter. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
