Story
Banana, 9.5 years, is a super sweet, sensitive, playful and loving pup. I started caring for Banana out of the shelter 8 years ago. At that time she was emaciated, suffering a skin disease, shy, suffering PTSD and quiet timid. It took her a week to learn to trust and eat food. In the 8 years we have been together, she has experienced tremendous shifts, through loving attention on multiple levels and some homeopathic remedies. She loves to run and be playful with other dogs. She also loves to bury her snout into you and give and receive love. She gets along well with everyone and has lived with dogs and cats and kids and people her whole time with me. She also appreciates alone time and while she enjoys caressing, getting too close for too long can be too much. An ideal new home would be somewhere with space and other animals I feel. Or at least where she can be taken to interact with other dogs. She has no known medical issues and operates best on a wet food diet.

Story
Johnny, 14.5 years old, is a really pleasant dog. He has grown a bit older and mellowed out, yet is still quite energetic. He enjoys walks and sniffing all around. At home he is a lap dog, and loves to snuggle or be close. He is also responsive to boundaries and can be on his own without issue. He is friendly and gets along really well with most other beings, especially in the house. On leash he needs monitoring when passing other people or dogs. He becomes territorial, and and can lunge and bark at times. I use a retractable leash and pay attention and don't experience problems. He has lived with other dogs, cats and children the 8 years that I have had him without issue. He is super happy to be loved and to love. He is in overall greath health, yet has some lose teeth. They don't cause issues eating or noticeable pain. An ideal home could be a farm or big space where he can roam or even an apartment with someone who likes affection, so long as he is walked a good amount daily.

Story
You can apply for Speckles at https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/ â¤ï¸ Speckles is a 6 year old, 65 lb Beautiful Brindle Male dog looking for a home. We have never done a DNA test, so we are not sure if he’s a Rhodesian Ridgeback or a Staffordshire Terrier. He’s a lover; no test needed to confirm that! He was recently in a foster home with other dogs, which proved to be too much for him. He is great with other dogs when walking in the neighborhood and out on adventures in town. Speckles loves everyone he meets, he enjoys going to the park, long walks, snuggling on the couch. We are trying to find a home for him where he will be the center of attention, no other pets or small children. He honestly would be the ideal dog for a single person looking for a companion. He’s completely house trained, doesn’t bark, he’s content in his crate chewing on a bone while you’re out running errands. Speckles will keep you company cooking, cleaning, on walks, in the car at night when it’s bedtime. If you’ve been looking for love in all the wrong places, Speckles checks all the boxes and will never break your heart!  Speckles is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.     June 18, 2026, 1:33 pm

Story
Hello, Ted is a 7 month old pure bred Goldendoodle puppy, he was purchased from a breeder in February for $5,200. Ted has received all his vaccinations and is a very healthy, happy and energetic puppy. He loves people, kids, other dogs and swimming. Unfortunately, a family member in the household has developed a bad allergy towards dogs and while Ted is part poodle, her allergies have become severe. Ted is an amazing dog, we look forward to finding him the perfect home.
