Story
Born on 9/6/2025. Male Havapoo. Mom is a Havanese (12 lbs.), dad is a Mini Poodle (15 lbs.). Very smart. Gorgeous dark brown coat with beautiful beige markings. Has had all his shots, including rabies. Clean bill of health. Very playful and active. Eager to learn. Loves his toys! Occasionally watches nature documentaries, especially those with lions, hyenas and Africa's wild dogs! Yes, that's him watching TV with me, lol... Adoption fee $750. I am not profiting from this fee, just recovering some costs.  I also feel that if someone is willing to pay a fair price, they are more likely to have considered the long-term financial responsibility of pet ownership (food, grooming, and vet bills). Giving him up will be so, so hard…   I want to make sure he will have a good life. Several pounds of food will be included. Huge sacrifice due to work constraints :(

Story
You can apply for Jillie at https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/ &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Today we welcomed Jillie to the Lady Luck Animal Rescue Family!! She caught my attention when I was walking through the shelter looking at dogs to network. I had no idea what her backstory was when her sweet face peeked through the bars at me. Jillie has been at the shelter since September 30th. Someone put her in one of the overnight drop crates at the shelter. She was thought to be pregnant because she was so swollen. Heartbreakingly, it was discovered that she had recently given birth. Did someone dump her and just keep the puppies? We will never know Can you even imagine the horror of giving birth, being torn from your puppies, disposed of in an outdoor kennel and then spending the next 6+ weeks in a loud scary shelter! Despite all of this, Jillie was a staff favorite and is an absolute treasure. Today she met her new foster mom and kids! They went straight to Starbucks for a Pup Cup, then went home and got the full spa treatment Lorelei style and is now convalescing in her beautiful comfy foster home! Jillie gets along with eve&#239&#191&#188ryone she meets! She is good with other dogs and kids! She has not yet been introduced to cats. She walks well on a leash, she is fully potty trained, crate trained and not destructive when left alone. Jillie is believed to be a Pointer/Hound Mix and weighs 52 lbs. Jillie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all of her vaccinations. She will be getting a dental cleaning prior to finalizing her adoption. If you are interested in adopting Jillie, please fill out our adoption application. (There is an adoption fee)  November 14, 2025, 6:26 am

Story
You can apply for Penelope at https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/ &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Penelope is a 5 year old, 22 lb French Bulldog who we rescued from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control in August 2025. This poor girl was used to breed multiple litters and her medical needs were never addressed. When she was longer of value to her owners, they dumped her like a piece of trash. We had to have her eye removed because the eyeball itself had ruptured and there was nothing there to salvage, she underwent soft palate and nares surgery to correct her breathing. Her skin was horrendous from food allergies and living in a crate. She has been living in a foster home with a family for several months and is fully recovered from all of her physical medical problems. The psychological effects of being locked in a crate and used to breed do have a few long lasting effects that remain. Penelope’s ideal adopter will have a fenced backyard for her to use for potty breaks and playing. Going for leash walks or going to a dog park are not for her. Her foster family consists of 3 adults and 2 children and a male Frenchie. Although she loves the kids, Penelope needs a low traffic home; so we will want her to go to a home with either a single adult or couple, no children. She loves other dogs in the home and has been cat tested and ignores them. She is a special needs dog as she only has one eye and her hearing seems to be limited. She is extremely loving and affectionate, but requires someone familiar with the stubbornness of the breed and how to be her pack leader. Penelope is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in Adopting Penelope, please fill out our adoption application. (There is an adoption fee) A meet and greet with Penelope is required.    January 13, 2026, 10:52 am

You can apply for Kira at https://ladyluckanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/canine-adoption-agreement-and-application/ &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Kira is a 4 Year Old Purebred German Shepherd. She loves to clear all of the toys out of the toy box! She is not at all destructive, she is playful and affectionate with her humans and canine siblings. Kira is a typical Female German Shepherd; she will bark at strangers when they enter your home or approach you on a walk. She is great with other dogs in the home. She is crate trained, fully potty trained and walks well on a leash. She will do best in a home with no small children to accidentally knock over. . You must be familiar with the breed to adopt. Kira loves going to daycare and playing with other dogs, big and small.. she loves them all! (No cats) We would love to find Kira a home in a country setting with low traffic coming in and out of the home. She loves to play with her foster canine siblings, so other dogs in the home would be great!  Kira is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. she will be spayed on December 29th.   If you are interested in adopting our Beloved Kira, please fill out our adoption application. Story
My name is Hermes, I am 3 years old and I live in pompano beach. I am a family dog, I share my home now with 2 cats and a little girl. I'm a goofy snugglebug and I love chewing on my stuffed animals! Before we used to live in a big house with a huge yard for me to run around, but we moved to a small apartment and my parents are always working. They love me and Im a good boy, I just need someone with more time and space for me to get the care I deserve. Will you be my new family?
