Story

Banjo came into our lives on December 26, 2025, after we found him wandering along a busy road in Georgia. He was severely underweight and in need of care, so we took him in and have been helping him heal and thrive ever since. Banjo is about 2 years old, a Boxer mix, and around 70 lbs. He is a goofy, playful, affectionate boy who absolutely loves people. He is crate trained, leash trained, house trained, loves playing, walks, and being around his people. He is still learning his manners and social skills with other dogs. Banjo does have special medical needs and requires a kidney-friendly diet and ongoing kidney care. His future family will need to be committed to continuing his care and working with their veterinarian to keep him healthy. We are looking for a loving forever home where Banjo can be part of the family, continue learning, and be the happy goofball he is.

Story

Johnny, 14.5 years old, is a really pleasant dog. He has grown a bit older and mellowed out, yet is still quite energetic. He enjoys walks and sniffing all around. At home he is a lap dog, and loves to snuggle or be close. He is also responsive to boundaries and can be on his own without issue. He is friendly and gets along really well with most other beings, especially in the house. On leash he needs monitoring when passing other people or dogs. He becomes territorial, and and can lunge and bark at times. I use a retractable leash and pay attention and don't experience problems. He has lived with other dogs, cats and children the 8 years that I have had him without issue. He is super happy to be loved and to love. He is in overall greath health, yet has some lose teeth. They don't cause issues eating or noticeable pain. An ideal home could be a farm or big space where he can roam or even an apartment with someone who likes affection, so long as he is walked a good amount daily.

Anna weighs approximately 55 lbs. She loves going on car rides to the park to play with other dogs and she enjoys the beach! Anna is wonderful in her foster home where there are currently two male large breed dogs. Her foster Dad works from home and has a large fenced in yard for her to play in. Anna’s ideal adopter will have dogs with similar energy (no cats) and will work from home or be retired. Anna enjoys being surrounded by other dogs and her humans. She was abandoned and found as a stray, so being alone is scary for her! She’s affectionate, house trained, walks well on a leash and overall an easy keeper for the right person. Despite being dumped in a swampy area and left to fend for himself, he is as sweet as can be! He is healthy and happy and ready to find a forever family. Gibson is dog and kid friendly, he’s completely house broken and working on his leash skills. He’s really sweet and a wonderful houseguest in his foster home. You must be familiar with the breed to adopt and own your home. A fenced yard is preferred, but not mandatory. Gibson is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. He was found as a stray in Miami. He is such a good boy! He is completely house trained, crate trained, and he’s eager to learn his basic commands. We are working on his leash skills. Arden is going to be a big boy! He already weighs 56 lbs. He loves to play with toys, chew on his bone and hang out with his humans. Arden is good with other dogs, he has not been cat tested. He would love a big fenced yard to run and play in. An active family would be an ideal match for him! Arden is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Meet Tiger 🐾 Tiger is a 3½-year-old brown brindle who I adopted from the Broward County Humane Society in January 2025 so my son could have a loving companion and playmate. Tiger is a very friendly, well-behaved dog who absolutely loves being around people and especially enjoys spending time with kids. He’s playful, affectionate, and has plenty of energy. He loves being active and would do best with someone who has a yard where he can run and play, or with someone who has the time and willingness to take him out frequently for exercise. I currently take Tiger out every day to run while I skate, and he absolutely loves it. Unfortunately, with my work schedule and other responsibilities, I sometimes don’t have as much time as I’d like to give him the exercise and activity he needs. Tiger would make a great companion for an active individual, couple, or family who can give him the time, attention, and exercise he deserves. He is very family-friendly and loves being around children.
