When the owner was contacted by authorities, they didn't want her and surrendered her to us here at SHARE. She is dog friendly.  She does need a home with someone who has experience with the breed. Koko is very high energy and needs someone who will continue her training. Currently located in a foster home. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Handsome Bear is a 2.5 year old high energy male. Bear is a working line shepherd and needs an experienced handler. He will do best with a home that understands that he's not super social with strangers but loyal to his humans. He needs a home with no children. Bear has had obedience training. He's all about that ball. Local adopters only as he may require more than 1 meet and greet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Ryder is a year and a half black female german shepherd (spayed, updated shots and AKC paperwork). She is the sweetest girl and loves to cuddle on the couch after she’s done playing fetch with her favorite toy. She’s a little timid with new people but warms up really quickly. Ryder was under socialized as a puppy with other dogs and cats so she has a fearful response towards them. She needs an owner that will build her confidence with slow exposure to dogs with positive reinforcement. She is the perfect mix of high energy play and relaxing on the couch. She would be a great addition to a family with children and a yard. Crate trained but doesn’t need to be. Can be left alone without chewing and is house broken. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 4:09 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Stella was rescued from the shelter after no one there could handle her.  Stella is the perfect example of how some shepherds do not do well in a shelter environment.   We think Stella is no more than a year old.  She has a lot of puppy like behaviors.  Stella is vetted, spayed, and up to date on preventative.  Stella is heartworm positive and has started her slow kill treatment.  Stella does need to remain local to Palm Beach County Florida as she continues her treatment but has no restrictions. Once Stella gets to know you she is a great protector.  She would make a great running or jogging partner.  Stella would do the best with an active family.  Stella has a lot of energy and will benefit from continued obedience training and even a ‘job’.  Stella is doing great with her basic obedience.  She walks nicely on a leash and is house trained.  When walking on a leash she is very aware of cars that pass by her, especially trucks, so we are working on that.   A fenced yard is required for Stella as well as a home with no small children (living at the residence or visiting) no exceptions!  Stella is very dog friendly.  She can play rough so it would need to be a dog that will tolerate her.  A meet and greet with any household pets is always required. She may be good with a calm cat. Stella needs to go to someone who has a lot experience with the breed and that will be patient with her as she learns the routine of her new home (which won’t take long).  A firm but fair person would be perfect.  We have been working on crate training.  She has been doing great now that she has learned her routine but in a new home it will take some time, practice and patience to get used to everything.  We feel that Stella and her new family would benefit with more than one meet and greet.  She will come with a crate and all of the items we used with her so she is more comfortable in a new environment. If interested in Stella please complete an application.  Stella is being fostered near West Palm Beach, Florida.        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2023, 4:09 pm
