Meet Spud 🥔This dapper gentleman here is Spud, who we believe to be a 1 year old bull terrier mix. This spunky guy has lots of energy and personality to go around, and he’s more than happy to share it with you! Spud here was brought in as a stray that was never reclaimed, so we do not have much history on this guy. He can be a bit selective on other dogs he gets along with. Due to how high energy he is, we have not tested him at this time, and would recommend he not be in a home with cats. He can also be quite jumpy, and while that’s something he can definitely be worked with on, we would not recommend he be around any younger kiddos that he might accidentally knock over. We are unsure if he is house trained or crate trained. He could definitely use some work with his leash manners, as he does like to tug and take you on the walk instead of the other way around. He’s a very clever boy that would very much benefit from some solid training. Be prepared to spend a good chunk of time on enrichment with this guy too.Spud has boundless potential to be your next companion. With a bit of patience and some training, he would make an amazing addition to any family. 🐾

Meet Clementine, a happy-go-lucky boy who’s just happy to be included 🍊Clementine is a 5 year old boy who loves any and all engaging activities with people that he can get. Wanna get a couple tennis balls and play fetch? He’s first in line. Wanna do some training on some tricks? Clem already has sit and stay in the bag, and he’s always ready to learn some more! Want an enthusiastic hiking pal to hit the trails with? Look no further!Clementine is good around cats, he could care less. Dogs? He’s a little iffy. He doesn’t seem to be a big fan of female dogs, and he can be a little protective of his toys and food if others get too close to his space. He does well around any and all humans, he absolutely loves just soaking up all the attention possible. Clem is also house trained, crate trained, and does really well when walking on a leash. As much as Clementine likes hanging out with everyone here, he’s ready to find a place to call his and settle down. Meet King 👑💛 My adoption fee is SPONSORED!! 💛This older gentleman is King, a 10-year old Anatolian Shepherd. He’s a well-mannered older gentleman who’s ready to find himself a retirement home to live out the rest of days in peace and comfort.We got King in from a bad hoarding/neglect situation. He was used as their guard dog, though, aside from him looking and sounding pretty intimidating, he’s honestly just a big sweetheart who just wants to spend time with you and explore his surroundings. He can be a bit reserved when first meeting people, but once he warms up to you and realizes you’re a safe person? He’s a gentle giant who wants nothing more than to spend some time with you. King can be a bit picky with the canine companions he likes. He’s a grumpy old man who likes his space, so a dog that can respect that would be best. He also does well with cats, so long as the cats are used to dogs and won’t swat or be aggressive with him. He does well around all people, including kiddos. He’s housetrained and does phenomenally on a leash. An older gentleman such as King deserves to have a comfortable home to live out the rest of his days. He’s still got plenty of spunk for as old as he is, but overall he just wants to be your oversized lap companion. You won’t find a more loyal dog. 🐾

Meet Big Papa Jonesy 🚀This handsome boy here is Big Papa Jonesy. This stunningly gorgeous boy is a 5 year old Cane Corso / All American Mix. Weighing in at a whopping 70lbs, this guy is more than able to be your scary dog privilege you’re looking for.Now, Jonesy came to us from a not super great living situation. We cannot even begin to imagine all the things this poor boy has gone through so far in his life. When he first came into the shelter, he was pretty shut down. Cowering in the corner, not wanting to move or be around anyone. Luckily, we were able to have a trainer take him for a couple weeks to work with him and help this lad build his confidence back. He came back pretty much a brand new dog afterwards. Jonesy still could use some gentle guidance. He isn’t a dog that would do well in a lot of households. He doesn’t do well with kids or other dogs (likely due to the situation we got him from). Due to this, we have not attempted cat testing. Jonesy can still be unsure about most strangers, so keep that in mind that he will likely not be the type of dog that you bring with you to most outings that would involve him being around a lot of other people. That said, however, Jonesy has a heart for adventure. Nothing gets him as excited as seeing you pull out that leash to take him on a walk. He makes frequent trips to local pet friendly stores to explore and for light socialization, but we are always vigilant and don’t let strangers come up and pet him without his consent. He does not do well around other dogs and will need to keep his distance from all of them. There’s no sugarcoating it - Jonesy is a reactive dog, and that is something that will likely never fully go away, even with more professional training. Jonesy’s ideal home is where he is your only pet. Preferably a quiet home with someone who has experience with reactive dogs or is willing to get some training to help both you and Jonesy learn the ropes together. While a lot of the things mentioned above might put you off considering him, Jonesy really does have a big heart underneath all that fear and trauma. Once he bonds with you, he is the most loyal companion one could ever ask for. This kinder soul is more than ready to find his peace at a forever home, one just for him. 🐾

Meet Bianca 💥This sleek looking gal is Bianca, a Cane Corse Mastiff Mix, estimated to be about a year old.Now, Bianca came to us from an unfortunate situation. While we cannot even begin to imagine what all this poor girl had to go through prior to coming into our care. We will not sugarcoat anything - Bianca is a reactive dog. She does not do well around loud new environments, strangers, or other dogs. She has had a bit of specialized training that has helped a bit, but overall what this gal needs is a quiet, safe place, and consistency. Bianca is also an escape artist. She can and will climb over kennels and fencing if she feels so desired to. She is skittish around strangers and needs time and patience to warm up to you and feel comfortable. Once she trusts you? She acts like a lovesick puppy that wants nothing more than to be right at your side 24/7. She does pretty well on a leash, and enjoys brief walks around familiar areas. That being said, she cannot be around other dogs, regardless of it being in home or out in public. Bianca is not a dog that you will likely be taking with you out to socialize or play out in a dog park. She will need to be your little homebody. Bianca needs a home where she is the only pet. She cannot be in a home with children. She needs somewhere that’s quiet and safe while she gets accustomed to her new surroundings. With some hard work, dedication, and patience, this gal will easily be your ride or die for the rest of her days. 🐾
