Red here! Are you ready for a mellow girl who will be by your side all day? I spent most of my life having puppies at a family breeder out in the country. I retired a year ago and moved to a lake with a bunch of other Labs where I learned obedience and house rules. I love giving and receiving affection, walks and fetch. I’m ready for my forever home and that’s where you come in. I’m AKC registered and 8 years old. Meet you soon!

Story
Introducing WILLOW ! a happy , social and spirited Italian Greyhound weighing in at about 17 pounds of healthy, athletic muscle 💕 Willow is proof that age is just a number. She has lots of energy and absolutely loves to run, play and romp with her foster siblings. Toys are a big hit, and when the fun winds down , Willow is all about the snuggles, especially at night. Her constantly wagging tail says it all-this girl is pure joy and happiness wrapped in a sleek IG body. She is a smart cookie who uses a doggie door and has decent potty habits, though continued consistency will help her shine , Leash walking and car rides are also still works in progress, but she’ll do her best with a patient family willing to help her continue building confidence and skills. Willowc is incredibly social and truly a people lover – she hasn’t met a stranger yet and greets everyone like an old friend, she would thrive in a home where she can be part of the action, get plenty of love, and maybe even have another playful dog to share adventurous with . If you are looking for a fun, affectionate, and joyful companion with a wagging tail and a big heart Willow is ready to steal yours . ❤️🐾 For an application to adopt this sweetie please visit www.summitcityiggies.com and return to topironhorse2000@hotmail.com or indianaigrescue@comcast.net Willow is available thru Indiana Italian greyhound rescue a chapter of IGRF

Story
Meet Phoebe A sweet 8 Snuggly Iggy with unstoppable spirit ! Phoebe is an 8 yo Italian greyhound who proves daily that a loving heart and determined spirit can outshine any challenge. This very special little girl sustained a spinal injury after being attacked by another dog several years ago, which left her with limited feeling in her hind legs but don’t let that fool you! Phoebe does not believe in slowing down. In her foster home , Phoebe gets around beautifully on smooth surfaces like tile, skillfully using her front legs and gliding along to get where she needs to go. For adventures outdoors or rooms with carpet she happily used her wheelchair, which allows her to explore and enjoy life even more. What Phoebe loves most, though , isn’t movement—- it’s snuggling. She would be perfectly content cuddled under a blanket on your lap, beside you on a couch, or tucked in next to you in bed. Because of her special needs , Pheobe does need a watchful human to make sure she stays safely in place and doesn’t attempt any surprise leaps when curiosity strikes. Pheobe is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and deeply loving. She forms strong bonds with her people and thrives on gentle companionship and reassurance. Her ideal home is one with serious, thoughtful adopters who understand her needs and are committed to keeping her safe while giving her all the love she deserves. If you are looking for a truly special soul- one whomwill fill your home with warmth, gratitude and quiet joy - Pheobe is ready to snuggle her way straight into your heart. Story
Introducing PRINCE a young joyful iggy with a big heart & bigger zoomies ! Prince is a handsome 1 Italian Greyhound who is pure puppy joy wrapped in a sleek little body. Although he had a rough start in life—- losing his Mom when he was 2 weeks old , he was lovingly bottle fed along with his litter mates - Prince has grown into a healthy, sturdy, boy who truly embraces life with enthusiasm. This happy guy absolutely FLIES arounf the house with abandon and delivers his signature zoomies right around bedtime. High energy ? Yes Typical puppy ? absolutely. Prince is always ready for new opportunities. Because Prince had very little training before coming into rescue, he has been catching up and is doing great He has already learned basic commands , leave it and has nice leash manners and continues to improve daily. He is smart, eager, and very capable of learning even more with continued consistency and positive reinforcement. Prince might have a future in agility as he is athletic, fast and loves to work. Princecwould thrive in a home with another active puppy who can match his energy enthusiasm. He is still a little shy when in public , but is actively working on his social skills and gaining confidence with each new experience. He is sure to blossom with patience, love and encouragement. Story
Hi ! My name is HEIDI , a 14 yo Italian Greyhound with a dainty frame and very gentle soul ! 💗 I spent my entire life with one loving owner and when they passed away, my world changed in a big way. I am still learning how to feel settled again, so please be patient with me while I find my footing. Even with all the changes,I remain a very sweet girl who truly wants to love and be loved. I get along well with other dogs in my foster home and enjoy their quiet companionship.I’m not sure how I feel about cats or children yet , simply because I’ve never been around them. I am improving on my leash and enjoy quiet strolls. I’ve never been crate trained and crates are unfamiliar to me, so I would prefer a home that does not require one. Potty habits needed a little reinforcement, but am trying really hard! I am getting better at using a potty pad and going outside - especially when the weather cooperates, since cold weather is really not my thing. Being dainty has its perks, but it also makes me appreciate warmth and comfort. I was known be a lap dog in my previous life, and while I can be a bit stand offish right now, my foster mom thinks that’s just my heart healing from such a big loss. What DOES come through loud & clear is my love of food ! I am very fond of it and an expert countertop investigator.if something smells good to me — so keep those snacks out of reach 😜 My favorite things are gentle neck scratches, and relaxing massages. When you do that , I melt . I may be quiet and reserved at first, but I am incredibly sweet, and once I feel safe , I know I will bring warmth, tenderness, and companionship to the lucky person who opens their heart and home to me. If you are looking for a soft, loving senior who will quietly warm your heart, I might just be your girl. I am a healthy one & remember my breed can live to be quite old so I feel we would have A LOT of good times ahead ! Heidi is available for adoption through Indiana Italian Greyhound rescue. Story
Zonka lab mix, I think about 8 years old. We got him from the Humane Society about 4-5 years ago, he is super friendly. He does like to jump on you when he is excited. We let him roam the house at night, he will go to a kennel if you need him to. Our lives are changing at this moment and we just don’t have the time he needs from us, we’re in Northern Indiana,
