Story
Looking for a foster to adopt home within an hour or so of Sturgis, MI. ❤️ 5 years old, 5 pounds ❤️ Good with dogs, cats and kids ❤️ Potty trained IF you pay attention ❤️ Great in the car She is super friendly and can go anywhere with you. We have taken her to a downtown event and even to a full day of garage sales. She likes to sleep in bed. She was from an Amish family so I would guess she is good with other animals like chickens and horses. ❗❗ She is diabetic but is doing great. She takes insulin shots twice a day. The cost of the insulin and needles is about $80 a month. She will need bloodwork every so often to check to make sure her levels are correct. Each vet has a different cost for this. Other things to know about a diabetic dog: 1. They eat their meals right before insulin so you can't just have food out for other animals they could get into. 2. Their food is important. She is currently eating science diet which can be bought from most any pet food store including TSC. 3. You do have to watch their activity. They can go low or high with their glucose. Thankfully, we have not had any issues while she has been with me. 4. They can live a long, happy life with a little extra care. Sugar still does need to be spayed and have a dental in August. Sugar is also safe here until that home can be found. We have learned she will bark when left alone and will try to eat a crate so our puppy proof living room is where she stays when we are gone. NO apartment living for her as your neighbors will turn you in for noise 🫣🤦. Otherwise she is quiet and the most perfect girl. I had a lot of people reach out when I first posted her. PLEASE talk to your whole family before applying. Talk to your vet so you are well prepared on adding a diabetic dog to your family. This is a lifetime commitment so please give it some thought ❤️

Story
Welcome Dorothy! She is looking for her own yellow brick road to a forever home. She is good with dogs, cats and kids. A complete sweetheart that will give you kisses right away. She is about 9 years old and she might show her age with her cloudy eyes but she still gets around great! She is about 13 pounds. She does jump up on the couch but her back legs definitely show some poor genetics. She says it's not her fault and she can't help it. If you're looking for somebody to be a lap companion and to be your little shadow reach out today!

Exercise partner? Walking around the block? Diet? Evie Grace can join you! She should lose about 20 pounds 🫣. Yes, I know that is a lot but she can do it! She had bloodwork done and it was good. Yay! She is currently still living with her owner but they only have until September 1st to find her a home. She is a SUPER friendly girl and is good with dogs, cats and kids. And don't let her weight fool you. She will take you for a walk if you let her. She could use some training on walking some. The family admits to over feeding her so it will be important her next family is able to follow a diet for her. She did great at the vet and is spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention, microchipped and had first set of vaccines. She really is a great girl and loves attention. Reach out today about her!

Barley is soo smart! She knows sit, down and roll over. She will make a great companion to a family with just a little bit of training. She was pulled for our local animal control and is settling in well. She has not had a potty accident and is crate trained and good with dogs and cats. She is about 4 years old and 43 lb. If you're looking for an addition to your family look no further! She does come with a few warnings ❌❗ 1. She has no idea how to control her tongue. Kisses are free and random. 2. The tail can be a weapon as it wags 100 miles an hour. 🤷❤️🐾 She says she just can't help those things! She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention and had her first set of vaccines. Reach out today for an application and adoption fee. Barley ❤️

Estelle is such a HAPPY, HAPPY GIRL! ❤️ Good with dogs ❤️ Good with cats ❤️ Good with kids Sleeps for 10 hours soundly at your feet. LOVES car rides. LOVES relaxing outside. LOVES naps. ❌No apartment living. She will bark sometimes when you are gone. ❗ Will need to take her out consistently and she will do better going out to potty with another dog while you hide and just watch her lol. If you go out with her all she wants is for you to pay attention to her and she forgets what she is doing 🫣🤷. She will make someone a great companion!!❤️🐾 She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, had a full dental and a urinalys. Story
So much personality! So happy, outgoing and ready for any adventure. Aries is currently living with other dogs and cats but they are losing their home. They have until September 1st to find Aries a home. He was originally from our local animal control and can be shy for just a second but once he knows you will be nice or if you have a treat then is all fun and games. He pulls greatly on leash so a fenced in yard would be best. You know Beagles and their noses. Has to smell everything! He did really well at the vet and is now had his first set of vaccines, is microchipped and neutered. If you are looking for a dog to give you entertainment look no further!
