Currently at St Joseph County Animal Control . 💚AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION💚 DOCKET# 245-26 This Senior Boxer/ Pit Mix is Bogart. He is 8 years or older and still intact. He is housebroken, crate trained and leash trained. He loves to snuggle up next to you, relaxing on his bed while chewing on his bone. Don’t let the age fool you because he still has some spunkiness to him. Because if you throw a tennis ball he’ll run after it and then go find a spot in the yard to lay down. Then he’ll roll around with the ball in his mouth. He is treat and food motivated. ❣️He is a little hard of hearing, his back end area is a little wobbly and he has some skin issues. But he DOESN’T let that stop him. ** Unsure how he is around children and cats. ** He’s been fine around the dogs here but we still REQUIRE a Meet-N-Greet to make sure. So if you are interested in adopting this Handsome Senior Boy please stop by and ask to meet him. Once you meet him you’ll fall in love with him . Please help me help him! I need a foster or adopter! **SPECIAL NEEDS** Sunny is the sweetest but she is pretty much deaf. But look on the bright side! She doesn't care about the vacuum, thunderstorms, fireworks, ect! Even if her eyes do not look normal she still gets around great! She doesn't bump into things and doesn't seem to have any issue. She LOVES to cuddle. She just wants attention. She gets along with dogs, cats and I am guessing kids, too. She is 5 years old and 12 pounds now. Unfortunately, she did not have the best life up until now. She was owned by an elderly couple and they were not able to care for her grooming needs so she had to be shaved all the way down. They were also not letting her and the other dogs outside so we are starting on potty training. She does really does love chewing on bones but has not played with toys so far. She will need a fenced in yard or a home where she can't just accidently escape outside as she can't hear you to call her back. Located in Sturgis Mi

He was a "stray" from St Joseph County Animal Control and then the owner came forward and said he is 16 years old and never was seen by a vet. He teeth are in great shape if that is actually the truth 🤷 So far he has been good with the other dogs, very happy and needs neutered 🫣😬. His tail has wagged, and wagged and wagged. Welcome Pablo! He came to us after his owner,unfortunately, had to go into assisted living. The whole family is devastated that they had to be surrendered but knew it was what was best for him. Pablo is 12 years old and loves to be held. Little baby syndrome activated! He is good with dogs, could care less about my cats and just likes being with his people. He slept through the night well and would love a family that would tuck him in under the blanket at night. Don't let his age fool you! He still gets around great and loves sniffing every inch outside. Car rides are not the top of his list of favorites but he does settle down for long road trips on the expressway. He does decent walking on leash. He had a dental and we are taking applications now. He is now is another foster home and has transitioned well to that home. He is potty trained and likes smelling everything outside. He has such a good personality and will make someone very happy. ** No apartments as he will bark when you are gone. ** No kids under 10. He will steal food and he will not give it back.
