Story
Everyone meet Bubba!  He has a couple of bumps so we had him checked out by the vet before introducing him and verified they are just harmless Lipomas Bubba is said to be a 7 year old shepherd type mix. He has done well with people, kids, and other dogs! He does best with off leash intros. He got to take a road trip already and did great. He doesn’t require a kennel at night, he sleeps free in his foster home. He is potty trained and knows how to use the dog door too!  Help us find Bubba a wonderful home . Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans! He isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. September 2, 2025, 10:33 am

Story
Chili is 2 years old. Her Embark DNA swab is pending. I don't believe she had lived inside prior to coming to rescue. Along with that, she didn't know what a kennel was, wasn't potty trained, and didn't know how to interact appropriately with dogs. She did come LOVING humans.   Chili didn't get along with her first fosters dogs, so she came to us since we can separate temporarily. Here's the thing, she hated segregation. She wanted to be with the other dogs and didn't have the typical dog aggressive attitude I've dealt with before. So we started working. Muzzle training was first. Thankfully she was already fabulous on a leash. She has also figured out relaxing and down time.   Then we started playing one on one with the other dogs with a muzzle on and leashed so when she got overstimulated we could separate. The thing is she was so excited to be around the other dogs she would get so excited for the muzzle! Gradually we did more and more. Now she is integrated with everyone, but she does have guarding behaviors, so we are working on "making good decisions."   She was not potty trained so we have used potty pads by the door which she figured out right away. Gradually she has figured out potty training. She uses the door bell or barks at night if she needs to go out. She still doesn't like the kennel, so we have a heavy duty kennel that she's in during the day when I am out of the house. She's gradually getting more used to it, but will still avoid coming inside if she knows she is going in the kennel. Chili would do fine as an only dog with walks, or with experienced dog parents who are willing to slowly integrate (she took a full month to feel comfortable here). Fostering to adopt is absolutely an option! If you have any questions please reach out! To apply online please visit k911foundation.com/adopt February 15, 2026, 8:51 am

Story
Fawn is a healthy 4 year old adult female shepherd mix weighing approximately 60 lbs. She is a sweetheart and is great with small children and other dogs. She is kennel trained and knows very basic commands like sit, stop. She has been fixed and has had all of her shots in the past as well as microchipped. She has a brother named Buck that is a 80 lb healthy male brendel the same age.. He is also very sweet and we would like try to rehome them together if possible. Would separate if needed. Have large kennel for each dog that will go with. Please message with interest.

Story
Zena is a 40 lb husky mix. We think shes about 5 or 6 now. She's gorgeous and SO sweet once you are in her circle. She had a bit of trauma when her owner was arrested and she found herself and her dog roommate at the local pound. The shelter staff adopted her "sister" but she still needed saving. She is so incredibly loyal and funny. She just wants to stay home, in her yard or neighborhood, with her person. She loves leash walks and car rides. She loves to play fetch with her foster mom and is so cute to watch her play with her stuffed/squeaky toys. Zena is a big fan of naps and the comforts of being in her bubble!    Apply to meet Zena at www.k911foundation.com/adoptDecember 23, 2025, 8:25 am
