Story
Lucy is incredibly smart. She loves hard. Give the biggest hugs. She will even jump into your arms and be held like a baby. LOVES to play fetch. She could do that for hours. She knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and roll over. Not a very good walking dog. She plays very good with kids and most other dogs. She is the friendliest dog when you take her to dog play places. BUT she is very ornery. If she doesn’t want to listen she won’t listen. Since she has been outdoor kenneled for so long she is itching for freedom. Unfortunately due to our living situation and close quarters we cannot keep Lucy. We have all her paperwork. She is fine to stay with us for a while she is just having to be kept kenneled and not let out to run around or play as much as we know she deserves. Her smarts get her in trouble but if someone has time to spend with her she with be the most sweet loyal dog.

Story
Sadie is a bully breed mix...maybe she is full breed but not entirely sure. She is a big girl at about 85-90 lbs last check. She is a big time lover with her person or family. She loves to cuddle right up next to you and have her head and ears scratched. She is very fast when running outside and loves the sunshine. She has started experiencing some symptoms of litter mate syndrome and would be best in her own home though it might be possible to have another dog as long as introductions are slow and positive, she has always had her siblings around and usually has alot of fun playing with them. She loves to chew on toys and any stuffy will be destroyed in minutes. She does well on walks but would keep her from other dogs although she has not shown any aggression. Sadie is not fully house trained but that was due to situation not her. She is very smart and very easily trains especially treat and food motivated. She is a very loving, loyal and protective.

Story
Chase has learned to live with our cat & I've seen him play well with small dogs.He does have medium/big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been attacked or bitten by another dog or a wild animal, they said no. He has been a part of our family for 4 yrs & isn't as reactive w/other dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl & lunge as much.Chase needs an experienced adopter, plenty of room to roam in his own pvt yard without medium/big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers & they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people & attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home w/small children just because he hasn't lived w/young children in our home or w/original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.Any of his supplies you want are part of adoption fee!

Story
If you’re looking for a quiet, low-key puppy… just keep swimming 🐠 But if you’re looking for personality, playfulness, and a whole lot of love? You’re in the right place. Dory is a 3-month-old Beagle/Staffordshire Terrier mix who brings big energy in a small package – for now, as she’ll be about 46-79 lbs. full-grown! Dory is spunky, smart, and a bit dramatic (think: expressive, hilarious, and not afraid to share her opinions). She’ll confidently mix it up with dogs bigger than her, then turn around and melt into your lap like the sweet cuddle bug she is. Here’s what makes Dory so easy to love: 🐾 Nearly house-trained and great with potty pads when needed 🐾 Knows “sit” and “down” (and working on “drop it”) 🐾 Loves toys – squeaky, stuffy, rope… You name it 🐾 Enjoys playing with other dogs and keeping up with the big kids 🐾 Curious and loves things like snuffle mats and scent games She’s still a puppy, so she’s learning as she goes. Dory is improving on leash every day, still figuring out crate time (she prefers being near her people), and can get a little impatient during playtime. But she’s bright, eager, and will absolutely thrive with consistency and structure. A few things to know about life with Dory: 💙 She loves the outdoors and would do best with space to explore 💙 Her ideal family is ready for puppy energy + training 💙 A playful dog friend or an active home would be a big plus Dory may not have the world totally figured out yet (and she cannot speak Whale)… but she does know how to love, how to play, and how to make every day more fun. Dory’s adoption fee is $275 and includes her spay, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Apply to meet Dory at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
