Story
Chase does well with our cat and I've seen him play well with small dogs. He does have big dog fear aggression. I asked previous owner if he had been bitten by a big dog or a wild animal, they said no. Chase has been a part of our family for 3.5 years and he isn't as reactive with big dogs as he used to be. That's to say, if he is a good distance he doesn't growl and lunge as much. Chase needs an experienced adopter with plenty of room to roam in his own private yard without big dogs nearby. I have talked with a couple of trainers and they think it's likely he can be trained out of his fear aggression. This would be from a knowledgeable owner or trained professional. He loves people and attention. I would caution that he isn't in a home with small children just because he hasn't lived with young children in our home or with original owner. He really is very sweet like Golden Retrievers are known for, he just has some special needs.

Story
We got Coco un March of 2021. She was supposed to be growing up with our daughter but we are getting divorced and neither of our apartments allow big dogs and we just simple do not have the time for an animal right now. She is great with kids, shes very protective over the people she loves. She has energy when she feels like it 😂. She is very chill but is always up for an adventure, as long as its not raining or too cold 😂. She loves to snuggle and just watch a show with you. She can very intimidating so a good protector for the household, people tend to be scared of her because of her size and deep bark but she has never hurt anybody and never will. Shes a sweetheart and we will miss her dearly

Story
Ollie is 9 years old born on 10/16/16. He is still very active for his age and shows no signs of aging. He needs a loving home. Someone who can show him the attention that I can't anymore. He doesn't get along that well with other dogs. He kind of just ignores cats. Putting him up for adoption is the hardest decision I've had to make. We just had a newborn and I can't tend to his needs as much as I'd want to. I just feel bad for him and want him to have a better life for his last years on this earth.

Story
Named Pierce, because of his piercing blue eyes, he’s much more than just a pretty face. Pierce is an 8-month-old puppy whose foster family has fed his intellect with lots of enriching experiences and focused training. He is a Siberian Husky mix who’ll probably end up 50-55 pounds full-grown, and he’ll have a lot to offer his future forever family. Already, Pierce knows commands like sit, down, off, out, take a break, and leave it. He’s also working on wait, heel, get it, give, and watch me. Add to that, he walks well on a leash. Talk about a terrific puppy! He’s right at that great age, where he’s not a tiny, needy baby, but he’s still young enough that he’ll adapt to his family and grow up together with them. He could be your lake dog in training this winter, because he LOVED playing in the water when it was warm out, and he’ll probably be a swimmer. He gets along great with people and especially with other dogs, so he’s ready to pawty when you bring all your friends together. He’ll bring the energy if you bring the treats. Pierce is a goofy boy who makes his foster family laugh with his antics. Feeding time is sooo exciting for him, and he’s a silly goose. But when he hears one of his commands, he is all ears, all about pleasing his people and being a good boy. See what we mean? Not just another pretty face here. Not gonna lie, those eyes make it hard to tell him no. He is house-trained and sleeps peacefully all night in his crate. He’s ready to impress you with his knowledge and generally lighten the mood. Who doesn’t want that? Pierce is good with kids, but depending on the child, he may topple very young kids in all his enthusiasm. Pierce's adoption fee is $275 and includes his neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Meet & greets and time to share some treats (Pierce hopes!) will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
