Story

We got Pat from an unexpected litter of puppies from a family member and took him in for a knowing good home. Pat does great with our 3 young kiddos and we’ve had him for almost 3 years. He is active but loves to snuggle and be around people! He gets along great with our female adult dog but has increasingly had tension with our adult male dog where we don’t feel it’s fair to him or our male that they stay separate. We would love for him to have a place with a good fenced back yard and a family who will snuggle and play with him! It really pains us to have to look for a new home, but we just want his life to be full of happy days!

Winston is a Covid puppy and unfortunately wasn't socialized properly and has some aggression issues. He's only ever had one owner who is elderly and can no longer take care of him. He can be super playful and energetic. He loves loves loves playing fetch with a ball. He can be very sweet and affectionate, demanding pets and cuddles but he must approach you. He's unpredictable if you approach him. He has territorial issues but other wise is a good baby. We are not equipped to give him the training he needs. He's worth the effort but needs an experienced owner to retrain him.

We adopted Gator when he was a puppy and while he is a wonderful companion, we have found he needs a home where he can be the only dog.Gator is:-Friendly and affectionate with people.-A lover of playing fetch with balls and frisbees.-Happiest when he has a big yard to run in.-Seeking a single-dog household.Gator is a sweet boy who has never shown an aggressive side; he simply does not care for other dogs. But that didn’t last long… These days, she’s happiest curled up close to her favorite people, soaking up all the pets she can get. This beautiful 5-year-old, 52-pound Cattle Dog mix is the best of both worlds. 🌎🌍 She's an active girl who loves backyard zoomies and playing with her dog friends. But when the fun is over, she's perfectly happy trading the excitement for a quiet spot next to you. Judy is house trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly in the living room at night. She’s a very smart girl 🧠 and already knows "sit," "kennel," and "leave it." She enjoys car rides, walks nicely on a leash (with a little pulling now and then), and loves durable toys like Kongs, balls, elk antlers, and buffalo horns. We’re not sure how she feels about cats or kids yet, but she gets along well with other dogs. She’d enjoy having a playful dog companion, though she'd be just as happy being your one and only. ⭐ One thing to know about Judy: Having her feet and back legs handled can make her a little nervous, so she'll need a family willing to continue helping her build confidence during grooming and nail trims. A fenced yard would also be ideal so she has plenty of room to run, roam, and stretch her legs. Judy may not have been asking for attention at first, but she's certainly making up for lost time now. She does fine around our children, but has not been around cats or very many dogs. She has had 1 seizure in the past about a year ago and hasn’t had any since. We are hoping to find her an active family who will love her as much as we have.
