An ideal size really for a housemate! My foster mom loves my super sweet, goofy personality! I LOVE to be around my person and am hoping to find my best friend who will shower me with love and take me on all kinds of adventures! Here are some great things about me! 🩷I am crate trained and sleep in my crate at night without making a mess ❤️I am working on my house training skills and almost have them mastered 🧡I get along well with other dogs, cats, and even chickens!🐓 💚I know some commands like sit, shake, lay down, kennel, and respond to no 💙 Going on walks is cool, and I am learning how to walk politely 💜I like to ride in the car and hang my head out the window. Have you heard of pup cups? They are the best! I would love to have a doggy buddy in my home to play with and to make me feel more confident. I have a medium to higher energy level, so regular walks or playtime in the yard would help me burn off my puppy energy. Do you have any toys for me to play with? I'm not picky; any toys are welcome! 🐈🐱 Cat-friendly 🐱🐈 Looking for the very bestest boy? 🤵 🫅 Here I am, it’s me, Otto! 👋 I am a 9-year-old male Newfoundland. I came into rescue because I was abandoned outside and was in rough shape. With the help of some human friends, I got a spa day 🛀, and look at me now 🤴 I am super chill and calm 🫶. I am great with other dogs and cats. I am terrific with kids, which is in character for my Newfie breed. 🐶 🧸 I love, love, love to lay on the deck when the weather is nice 🌤️ 🌻 😎 I am relatively quiet, but I will bark when my dog family starts to bark. I stop, though, as soon as my foster parents say “no.” I love belly rubs, ahhh, and my treats, yummm.🥓 And I’m in heaven if I can sleep in front of a fan 🌬️ My foster mom has taken such good care of me. Due to my age, I need some simple daily care (maybe you can relate?) to be at my tip-top best. 🧴 🏅 I have dry eye, so I need daily eye cleanings and twice-daily drops, which I am an angel for 😇. I do just fine with stairs, though I have some joint issues, like every senior giant-breed dog. Foster mom has put me on a combination of joint supplements and fish oil, which makes me more comfortable. I might have low vision in the dark, so give me a nightlight and we’re all good. I do have a mass on my lower palate, but don't worry... I can chew on my chews and l have no problems eating. Because of my age, the vet recommends against neuter surgery – so I will come not neutered, but I don't have the energy to do anything like that anyway. 🤫 I really am the best and I look forward to meeting you! He’s a very kind dog, can’t jump up anymore and needs a back yard. We are moving to a place where we can’t keep him with us. Good with kids, doesn’t mind other dogs, won’t eat off the table or get on the bed.
