Story
Molly Muffin is about 2 years old. Her family had to move to Arizona and left her behind. She's a sweet dog that loves to chase squirrels. The vet thinks she is a short haired pointer mix. She loves sleeping in the bed or snuggling on the couch. She is also crate trained when needed. She's definitely a hunting dog that loves to play with toys and play fetch. She would be great in a home with kids and a large yard.

Story
Loki is a rescue/foster pup that we took under our wing after he was found malnourished by his previous owner. He was thin and very shy when we first got him a few years back. His weight is up and he is a happy and healthy dog. He is submissive, and safe around other animals and children. He craves a lot of attention and likes to play. He’s house broken, but will potty near the back door if left inside too long. We have a very busy work schedule and two children, so we can no longer provide the care he deserves. We want to see him go to someone who will care for him. He loves to play outside and will fetch a ball for as long as you’re willing to throw it. He is a very sweet and loving dog.

Story
Meet Colbie Jean, the ultimate cuddle bug in a goofy, loving package! This sweet, mixed-breed girl is 2 years old and weighs 54 pounds—a perfect size for snuggling on the couch. Colbie is playful and goofy at times, but calm at heart. She’s happiest lounging as a couch potato or snuggling up for a good nap. But she also enjoys playtime with her chew toys or a walk around the block. This lovely lady does well with other dog friends. and loves the 7-year-old girl in her foster home. She tends to enjoy the company of male dogs more than females, but with a proper introduction, we feel she would be happy to pal around with a female sibling as well. Colbie knows to “sit” and “kennel” when asked. She is eager to please, so additional training should be a piece of cake! She is house-trained and crate-trained. She can be a bit of a velcro dog, so she checks in often and will likely snuggle right into your lap. She’s done well on car rides and, while she loves people, she’s had only a little exposure to kids, so gentle introductions are best. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will reward your love with loyalty and endless cuddles, Colbie could be the one for you. Colby Jean is ready to share all of that with her furever family! Colbie Jean will come to you spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
Only a puppy, Ekko definitely wants to know why his young life had to start out so difficult. 🔒 🔗 We can’t know the answer to that, but what we CAN know is that Ekko’s little life has had a gigantic glow-up since he’s been in foster 🪄 🧚‍♀️ Only good stuff from now on, Ekko! 🦄 🌈 We promise. Tiny baby Ekko was crated for more than 20 hours a day and wasn’t getting enough to eat or drink. After some quality time with a loving foster, he has so much freedom 🕊️🤸‍♂️ and everything he needs to grow and thrive. Ekko is 9 months old, and he’ll probably be around 40 pounds full grown. Turns out, he’s a complete sweetheart, and he’s good with kids and gets along well with other dogs. He walks well on a leash and knows sit and some other basic commands. He’ll readily do what you ask if he knows he’ll get a treat or some good attention. Oh Ekko, you’re such a good boy. 🥹 He has a regular amount of puppy energy, and he gets these cute little bursts of happiness right after he eats. He likes all the toys, but he particularly likes to play with squeaky toys and balls. He loves the opportunity to snuggle up and cling to his foster mom, so he’ll make a great cuddle buddy to his forever people. Ekko is house trained and he’s crate trained, but because he was crated so much in the past, you can’t blame him for not liking the crate very much. He should be in a home where people are willing to give him time to build trust – and that might take a little longer with the men in a home. Once he acclimates to new environments, he becomes his full Ekko self, and you’ve never had a better friend! 👯 He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped, as well as current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Don’t you wanna be the person who ushers Ekko into the good life? Get approved to adopt so you can meet him! 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕
