Story
“Kippy has a calm, gentle presence that draws you in. She doesn’t demand attention — she offers herself, and that kind of love is hard to forget. That quiet trust is what makes her so special.” – Foster Mom. Miss Kippy is a 2-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 50 pounds. She has the most stunning brindle coat and those perky ears, gah! Under all that beauty is a gentle, observant, and quietly affectionate lady. Kippy gets along with every dog she meets, both male and female. Kippy has met confident barn cats and showed curiosity without aggression or chasing. Because the cats did not run, we cannot say for sure how she would respond to a fearful or fast-moving cat. Continued supervision and slow introductions would be necessary in a home with cats. Kip is calm, patient, and comfortable around kids. Miss Kippy enjoys food-based enrichment such as Kongs filled with peanut butter and bully sticks. She is always up for a walk and time outside, but does not require high levels of exercise. This smart gal is house-trained and can be trusted to sleep on her dog bed at night. Kip knows “sit,” and can easily learn many more commands. Kippy is learning that the world can be safe. She is still gaining confidence in new environments. She would be best suited for a home that values calm energy and patience over fast expectations. A consistent routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement will help her continue to build confidence. Kippy will come to you spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. If you feel you and Kip would make a good match, head over to PawsitiveTailsKC.org and fill out an adoption application. Approved applicants will be contacted to set up a meet-and-greet. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Did you know that Oreos are America’s favorite cookie? Who can resist this chocolate, crunchy cookie with a creamy frosting center? 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 We feel the same way about OUR Oreo! He is an 11-month-old mixed breed who currently weighs 50 pounds. Oreo is a laidback dog that gets along with other dogs. He thinks cats are for chasing, so a home with no feline friends is best. Kids are great, but let's say over 12 years old, as he likes to "herd" them by nipping at their ankles. He enjoys playing with all types of toys and interacting with people. He is a loving boy who loves pets, belly rubs, and puppy cookies! Here is why we believe Oreo is highly irresistible! ❤️House trained ❤️Kennel trained ❤️Knows the commands sit and come ❤️Calm demeanor ❤️Loves walks Doesn’t he sound as yummy as the famous cookie we all love! Oreo’s adoption fee is $175 and includes his neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and up-to-date flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Apply to meet this delicious pup at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 We hope this boy will become your favorite cookie, too! 🍪 🍪 🍪

Story
Let’s play pretend! Remember when we used to play house when we were kids? So, pretend you get to be the parent and you live in a comfortable place. And we’ll pretend that you have two little baby girls that you get to take care of – and we’ll say they’re sisters. The older “sister” is Mia, and the younger “sister” is Rosie. But they’re both just babies. These are the kind of babies that you can talk to and coo at and hold and snuggle all day long if you want. Sometimes you can play with them or go outside, but mostly, you just get to love on the two little baby girls all the time. Sound like a fun make-believe world? What if we told you that we can stop pretending and make this story true? You definitely can turn it into reality! The babies are actually doggies, but they are still “sisters” named Mia and Rosie. Mia is a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier type, and Rosie is a 3-year-old Boston Terrier. They both weigh under 20 pounds. Both girls have wonderful temperaments and connect with people immediately, full of tail wags and even kisses if you like. They are content around the house, where they love to lay around either on people’s laps or on the comfy beds, chairs and couches. They get excited for walks and do well on the leash, and they have playful spurts together each day. But most of their time is spent appreciating their people and all the soft, warm, cozy spots. They get along well with other dogs and with all ages of people. They have great manners and follow directions, and both are house trained. No imagination required: Mia and Rosie can be your very own sweet baby girls! They are spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and their adoption fee is $225. Both ladies will come to you current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Snuggle & loves, oops we mean meet & greets, will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Oliver is a 12 y/o Cairn/Poo/Yorkie (?) weighing about 13 lbs available for adoption with Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. He's a sweet older gentleman and seems to be house/crate-trained. Oliver is friendly with people and good with dogs. He has a calm, easy-going temperament and likely would be ok with cats and respectful kids. Oliver needs a dental so local adopters only until that's completed. Remember: he will need to be professionally groomed every 2 months ($$). Interested? Submit an app www.pawsitivetailskc.org
