Scruff alert! Look at our cutie pie, Brandy. She’s a fine girl who is a super loyal 6-year-old, 19-lb. Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Brandy came to us under-socialized (happens to the best of us, TBH), and she has learned so much from her foster parents. She is smart and eager to please her people. In a short time, she’s discovered playing with toys and getting so many treats for doing what her people ask. Now, her favorite things to do are play, go for walks, snuggle on your lap and to be told she’s a good girl. Aww, of course she is! She picks up on things quickly, especially if there are treats involved. Brandy sits on command to wait for other dogs to walk by without reacting. And now that she’s caught on to the routine, she runs right upstairs and pops into her crate at bedtime too. If her darling face isn’t enough to make you smile, wait until you see her unmatched “wiggle-butt welcome home dance!” You’ve never been so happy to get home from the grocery store. Brandy is ready to keep living the good life and to come learn the routine at your house. She is house trained and crate trained – though she’s great around the house and doesn’t need to be crated when you’re away. She’ll be a lap dog, a strolling dog and a constant, scruffy companion. We wouldn’t be surprised if it takes Brandy a few days to get accustomed to her new people. If you stock up on both treats and patience, we have no doubt she’ll settle into your home as happily as she has in her foster home. She is a compact 40-pound 2-year-old who is smart and treat motivated, so she is quick to learn new tricks. Lexus is house and kennel-trained and loves all people. After a slow introduction, she is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs her size or larger. Lexus’ favorite things are chewing bones, destroying stuffy toys, running around in a fenced yard, and getting belly rubs. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. Lexus will submissively roll over on her back for belly rubs. This smart girl is learning leash manners. She is happiest running around in a fenced yard but can jump a 4-foot fence, so an adopter who will walk her or who has a 6-foot privacy fence would be best. While Lexus has lots of energy for play, she is also the best cuddler and enjoys snuggling up next to you on the couch while you watch Netflix or your favorite streaming service. EVY (formerly Harley;name was changed only because I already have a dog named Harley) is a 55-lb American Pocket Bully, approximately 5,6 years old. She is a loving, people-oriented couch dog who does great with older children, including my kids and neighborhood kids. I took her in to help her breeder, but the breeder has since moved and is unable to take her back. Due to my recent divorce, hysterectomy recovery, financial strain, and managing multiple dogs, I can no longer provide the environment EVY needs. She gets along well with two of my dogs but has shown aggression toward one dog with significant anxiety, and they do not cohabitate safely despite management efforts. Because of this, EVY may do best as an only dog or with an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and introductions. Cat compatibility is unknown. She enjoys walks and outdoor time but is primarily an indoor companion. The breeder stated her vaccinations were up to date likely need updated and spayed.

Sable is an active pup who can also be mellow. She loves nothing more than being around her people getting pets, or playing with her doggie friends. Miss Sable not only has the looks but also the smarts. She is nearly house-trained and sleeps quietly in her crate when left alone and at night.
