Story
Approximately 6 year old female mixed breed dog. Came from a shelter 5 years ago. Due to schedules she is crated through the day. She is great with those that live in the household, including cats, and once introduced to others, becomes comfortable with them. Behavior issues include when she is able to get outside off lead, will dart out of the house and chase others if seen, jumping and barking at other people or dogs leaving her yard. She has not bitten anyone she had jumped at, but sounds aggressive. She is also protective of those in the household and a new person needs to be introduced in a controlled manner. She does have a skin condition and allergies on her back hide which requires seeing the vet at times. She is a loving dog, we believe she needs a bigger yard to run in, a more active family / owner that is able to do things with her a socialize her more. Currently in a home with 4 teen kids. Is house trained.

Story
Hey! This Handsome puppy is Rio! He is 9 months as of Feb and is a energetic fella, I got him as a present from my bestfriend when he was just 3 months and i worked with Rio to get him house trained and potty trained. He is not perfect by any means but has almost been 100% potty trained. He will usually only have accidents when his tummy is upset but besides that he does a good job of holding everything while I am at work for 8 hours. He does really well with other pets and people and loves to be loved and cuddled. He has had zero incidents since I have had him. The reason I am sadly wanting him to find a new home is because I have gotten a new job that requires me to travel and I do not feel that I am able to give him the best living situation and giving him enough time and attention. I also feel that with my new job taking up alot of time I am also neglecting him from other dog interaction. I just want him to find a new home with an owner willing to love him as much as he deserves.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My daughter found Wrenley abandoned on a county road in October. She is 6 or 7 months old and has had her 1st round of shots. She is sweet and playful and gets along with our other dogs. We have 1 small inside dog that doesn't really like her playfulness. Currently she spends most of her time outside but is kennel trained for nights. She rarely barks except when playing keep away with our other puppy. 5 dogs is just too many for us so we have to find a new home for her.

Story
Gator was surrendered due to change in the family circumstances. He is such a well behaved and friendly guy. He loves humans! He isn't sure around toddlers so kiddos over 5 please! He has done well with the dogs in his foster home. He is potty and kennel trained although the kennel isn't required after settling in. He grew up on a farm and protected the yard from squirrels and raccoons, so we are also looking for a home with no small animals! If you think Gator could be a good fit, please fill out an application at www.k911foundation.com/adopt. September 2, 2025, 10:33 am

Story
Chili is 2 years old. Her Embark DNA swab is pending. I don't believe she had lived inside prior to coming to rescue. Along with that, she didn't know what a kennel was, wasn't potty trained, and didn't know how to interact appropriately with dogs. She did come LOVING humans.   Chili didn't get along with her first fosters dogs, so she came to us since we can separate temporarily. Here's the thing, she hated segregation. She wanted to be with the other dogs and didn't have the typical dog aggressive attitude I've dealt with before. So we started working. Muzzle training was first. Thankfully she was already fabulous on a leash. She has also figured out relaxing and down time.   Then we started playing one on one with the other dogs with a muzzle on and leashed so when she got overstimulated we could separate. The thing is she was so excited to be around the other dogs she would get so excited for the muzzle! Gradually we did more and more. Now she is integrated with everyone, but she does have guarding behaviors, so we are working on "making good decisions."   She was not potty trained so we have used potty pads by the door which she figured out right away. Gradually she has figured out potty training. She uses the door bell or barks at night if she needs to go out. She still doesn't like the kennel, so we have a heavy duty kennel that she's in during the day when I am out of the house. She's gradually getting more used to it, but will still avoid coming inside if she knows she is going in the kennel. Chili would do fine as an only dog with walks, or with experienced dog parents who are willing to slowly integrate (she took a full month to feel comfortable here). Fostering to adopt is absolutely an option! If you have any questions please reach out! To apply online please visit k911foundation.com/adopt February 15, 2026, 8:51 am
