Story
Jax is one of a kind. He is gentle and sweet and loves attention. He is playful and always wanting to run, jump and horse around with his brother Hank. He loves people, kids, other dogs and cats. He's an adventurer and curious about his surroundings. Jax is a fun dog and will warm hearts of all that meet him. There's not a bad bone in his body. I would love Jax to go to a loving home that will give him the attention he deserves. I would love it if he could go to a family that would also take his brother Hank. He is on my profile as well. They have been together since they were puppies and have a special bond with one another. Jax is 7 years old but you would never know it by how active he is.

Story
Hank is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had. He is fun loving and loves to play. He can be a bit rambunctious sometimes but I believe thats just because he doesn't realize how big he is. He listens very well and comes when he is called. Hank was given to me several years ago by my business partner. He got him for his daughter and she was not mature enough for the responsibility. Hank needs to go to a home that will love him as I do and give him the attention he deserves. He is great with other dogs and cats and loves people including children. I would really love it if Hank could go to a loving home that would also take his brother Jax. He is on my profile as well. They have been together since they were puppies. Hank will be 7 in April but is as energetic as a puppy

American Staffordshire Terrier American Bulldog

Female, Adult
Ottawa, KS
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
She was found abandoned and spent time with another family before I took her in. I was not able to get information about her history being raised or medical history so I got her shots up to date. She is potty trained, crate trained and trained with basic commands like come, sit, lay down, leave/drop and stay, walks really well, is behaved and listens when in passing of other dogs and does not run when off leash. Her instincts do make her a bit impulsive at times, but hasn't attacked anyone or any other animal ever while in my care, even when left unattended for hours. She gets a bit scared of thunder when alone, but in the company of someone she is fine. She is 3 years old, energetic when outside, curious, learns well but needs repetition due to impulses and not trouble at all when it comes to baths or being groomed.

Story
Sweet Maize (May-zee) needs a lot of attention. Adopted her from a shelter and have worked on her anxiety issues. She has come a long way She is good with cats and MOST dogs. One of our dogs is high energy and prone to aggression toward her. She deserves a safer space than we can provide. She exhibits PTSD-like behavior and needs a calm place with a regular routine. She is wary around men, and it takes a long time for her to accept them around.. She will not hurt kids, but the activity level may be a challenge for her. She needs a very patient female around willing to get her integrated into a new environment. She does okay on field trips with her person. Regular outings to regular places helps. She has been here over a year, and we’ve learned her needs and her challenges. I will be picky about placement, and rehoming will be with the agreement that if she is not a good fit, she is returned to us (not a shelter) as we try again. Fee includes crate etc. so she has familiar items.

Story
Everyone meet Bubba!  He has a couple of bumps so we had him checked out by the vet before introducing him and verified they are just harmless Lipomas. Bubba is said to be a 7 year old shepherd type mix. He has done well with people, kids, and other dogs! He does best with off leash intros. He got to take a road trip already and did great. He doesn’t require a kennel at night, he sleeps free in his foster home. He is potty trained and knows how to use the dog door too!  Help us find Bubba a wonderful home .
