Story
My name is Biscuit. According to the veterinarian, I am one year old and I weigh 18 lbs. I'm a stocky little fellow, a little on the chunky side. I am neutered, up today on my rabies and dhpp vaccines, and I am heartworm negative . I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am neutered, up today on my rabies and dhpp vaccines, and I am heartworm negative. I have been surrendered to the rescue because my owners do not have time to spend with me. Because my owners are gone so long during the day, I am puppy pad trained. I will potty outside though if taken out. I am good with other dogs and children. I have been around toddlers and infants. I'm not sure about cats because the rescue does not have any. I will bark at a cat if I see one, but will stop barking after a few minutes. I love to play fetch and will bring back to you whatever you throw. I also love belly rubs and will roll over on command for one. I come when I'm called and I know how to sit. I will also walk on my hind legs for a treat. I walked on a leash for the first time for my video. As you can see, I did pretty good. I am very smart and I learn quickly. I love to be with people! I will follow my owner around the house and will snuggle up in the chair with him in the evening. I am very curious and attentive as to what my people are doing. I have I submissive temperament and a happy personality! I am well behaved in the house. I don't try to get in the trash or chew anything up. I have a medium energy level. I am a wonderful companion with lots of love to give! I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! Email is the best method of contract. Applications can be found on the rescue website carolinacaninerescuenc.com

Story
My name is Slayton! I am one years old and I weigh approximately 40 - 45 lbs. I am fostered in Danbury, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. I was turned into a County animal shelter, but I’m not sure why because I am such a loving, friendly boy. I get along great with other dogs of all sizes and ages. In fact, one of my favorite playmates is the Great Pyrenees in our foster home. I am a fun loving boy with a very happy personality. I love people and I really enjoy being with them. I love to be petted and played with. l walk on a leash and I ride well in the car. I don't bark a lot. I have a medium energy level. I'm good with kids. I don't know if I'm good with cats because the rescue doesn't have any. I am neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I'm a wonderful companion with lots of love to give! I'm ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! Belly rubs are a must! A copy of my veterinarian records will accompany me to my new home. Once an application is approved, the foster’s phone number will be provided before an adoption decision is made. Email is the best method of contact. Story
I have more videos on the rescue website! My name is Pepper. I weigh 7 lbs. (2/16). I am one in a litter of three. We were born around November 15. We are fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina but easy, affordable transportation is available. Our mom weighed 7 pounds and our dad weighed 10 pounds. They were both family pets with great dispositions. We all have long bodies and short legs. We are not considered hypoallergenic or non-shedding since we are mixed breed puppies. We are well socialized and very loving. We love being held and petted, and we always greet our foster mom at the door with wagging tails and lots of kisses. We love to play with toys and with each other. We do like to chew on fingers and toes so we definitely need some training in this area. We have a medium energy level. We are working on house training. We sleep in a crate every night and we have learned not to potty in our crate. As soon as our crate door is opened every morning we run straight to the door to go outside and potty. We are good with the other dogs and love to play with them. I am the boldest of the three and the first to try anything new. I love to snooze in my foster’s lap! We provide hours of entertainment to our foster mom just watching us play. We are pretty typical puppies - we eat, sleep, play, and then start all over again. We have so much love to give and we are ready to go to our new forever homes! We will not be adopted in to homes with small children because we are so small. We are up-to-date on our puppy shots and we have been dewormed. We have already had a check up by the veterinarian. Our records will accompany us to our new homes. Email is the best method of contact . Adoption applications can be found on our rescue website Carolinacaninerescuenc.com

Story
I have a second video on the rescue website. My name is Chichi! I was born 11/1. I currently weigh 6 pounds.(2/16). I am fostered in Mount Airy, North Carolina, but easy, affordable transportation is available. I am a fun loving, happy little girl! I love to play with toys, other dogs, or anything that I can find on the floor or ground. The rescue is not sure how I am with cats because they don’t have any. I may bark at one, but I’m certainly not big enough to hurt one though. I love to be with people and will follow my foster all over the house. One of my favorite things to do is take long naps snuggled up in her lap. My foster is in a wheelchair and I have learned to stay clear of it. My ears are just starting to stand up. They were not standing up in my pictures/videos yet. Those were taken mid February. I am a pretty energetic little girl, so I will need lots of toys to keep me busy. I would love to have a little playmate even more! I will bring lots of entertainment. and lots of love to my new family. I am ready and waiting to go to my new forever home! I have been to the veterinarian, been dewormed, and have had two puppy shots. My records will accompany me. Email is the best method of contact. Applications can be found on the rescue website. Carolinacaninerescuenc.com Once an application is approved, the foster ‘s phone number will be provided so you can learn more about me before making an adoption decision.

Story
Gunner is a housebroken 5 year old cockerspaniel, English springer spaniel, mini poodle mix. We have not had to crate him since he was a puppy and have never had an issue. Whether it be taking a long walk or snuggling up on the couch with you, he’s down for either! Squirrel, rabbit, bird, mailman… He’s a great watch dog and will let you know when he finds one. Gunner does currently live in a home with two other dogs and as long as he’s fed separately he gets along just fine. Small children make him nervous and so an adult only home or a home with older children is a must. Gunner is a lover and wants nothing more than snuggles and pets from his human!

Story
Loki is 6 years old, he spends most of his time sleeping in or chasing his tail. He loves being around his people. His favorite toys are tennis balls, stuffed animals, and tug ropes. Loki was raised with 2 other dogs however he is nervous around other dogs and sometimes people when he's outside of the house. I adopted Loki and Lincoln from my parents in 2021. I won't be able to keep the dogs after my lease ends as my career will require me to move frequently.
