Maple came to us skin and bones, dragging a 30lb logging chain that had been pierced through her neck (purposely). She was a heavy heartworm positive, covered in fleas and ticks, and filled with worms. She is a wonderful companion dog but does have some separation anxiety.

Max is a sweet loving male pup, neutered, up to date on vaccinations. He does well with dogs but needs to be preferably with a female over a male. He does chase cats so preferably no cats. He knows basic commands and potty trained. He is a good boy and only wants love. I would love to find his perfect forever family who can give him more attention than we can give at this time.

Story

Mosey has been in our family for just over 5 wonderful years. She was purchased from a purebred breeder in Little River, SC. For the first 3 years of Mosey’s life, she was our “only child”. We spoiled her beyond belief and brought her everywhere we could. She was so kind and loving, and like most Shih Tzu’s, she just wanted to sit on or near your lap and relax whenever possible. Nearly three years ago, we welcomed our first child into our home and now have a second who is just over 7 months. Unfortunately, our attention can no longer be as focused on Mosey as anyone would like (herself included). She has regrettably not taken too well to our young kids, and has snapped at them a few times. Most recently, my two year old put his head on her belly unexpectedly, and she shockingly bit him in the forehead. We love Mosey and want her to go to a great home with either older kids or no kids at all. She will love you unconditionally and just wants some attention like the old days.

Wonderful dog in every way. Easy acclimates to new situations. Plays with everyone. Happy good girl. She listens well, housebroke. Owner became seriously ill and gave me the dogs to rehome. Carmella is in with 7 dogs and plays with everyone and is a delight to have around the house. She stays with me outside and loves life. She is about 5 1/2 years, spayed, walks enthusitastically on leash, loves the car. Quiet girl. She is a wonderful dog, about 30 pounds. easy dog to care for. Will take back if not the perfect dog for y ou.
