Story
My name is Mojo but the people here call me Mojo Jojo. I don't know why but it seems to make them happy so I don't mind. I am a scared little fella however I love people once I get to know and feel comfortable with them. Because of my fear I would do best without kids. I am housebroken and love female dogs. I could get along with another male if it was a good fit. Because of my fear I would need a long time to warm up to you but once I do I am the sweetest boy. I just need a home that's going to understand my needs and be willing to work with me either on my own or with a professional trainer. Would you possibly give me a chance? I PLAY GREAT WITH DOGS, AND LIKELY WOULD DO BEST WITH A BUDDY IN THE HOME. I DO NEED AN ADOPTER WHO IS GOING TO SEEK PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, OR WILL CONTINUE WITH A RECOMMENED TRAINER FROM THE RESCUE. THIS IS GOING TO ENSURE MY SUCCESS! IF THERE IS A MALE (human) IN THE HOME, I WOULD POTENTIALLY DO OKAY IF THERE WAS ALSO A DOG IN THE HOME. I FIND COMFORT IN UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATIONS WHEN THERE IS A CANINE BUDDY I CAN BOND WITH AS WELL! IF INTERESTED, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO APPLY HERE OR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION REACH OUT TO THE RESCUE AT WWW.CARA-NC.ORG

Story
Greg and his siblings were abandoned at 7 weeks old, they were dropped over someone's fence while they were out of town. That family reached out to us directly because the local shelter was temporally closed due to cases of parvo. Greg was the biggest of the litter. He is very playful and loves the water. He is great with kids and other dogs. He has already been started on Flea and tick prevention plus heart guard. Greg is always ready for an adventure and is ready to meet his new family.

Story
So Pepe is about 6-7 months I got him in August of last year. I was told he was a chihuaha I believe he is mixed with something else because he is way bigger than a chihuahua. I am going to college in August and it's not possible for me to take him so I just want him to go to a good home because i truly love him so much but I'm not gonna keep him just so that he gets more attached I just want what's best for him and to be able to know he's being taken care of properly. He does have a lot of energy but he takes lot of naps. He is very attached and he loves to cuddle and sleeps better with you but he is crate trained so he sleeps good in a crate or in bed with you. He's really good with people and other dogs. He is good about being outside and not going into the road and will let you know when someone arrives and that is when he'll bark. He does fine with cats but he will chase them but won't hurt them. I can give you a crate and his bowl and leashes and his favorite toys as well.

Story
Meet Liza also known as Pixie. She is around 1 year old and has the sweetest personality, a playful spirit, and lots of love to give. She's very friendly with people and other dogs and would thrive in an active home that can keep her body and mind engaged. She is a still young pup and has lots of energy and will need regular exercise structure and mental stimulation. A fenced yard with room to run and a playmate are 2 things that would help her thrive. She would do best with an experienced handler who understands large working breeds and the importance of continued training and socialization. She enjoys other dogs so much that a home with another dog friendly dog to help her burn off her puppy energy is a must. Because of her prey drive and enthusiasm, she would not be a good fit for a home with small dogs or small children. Pixie is crate train and should be crated when unsupervised. She's also a big fan of chewing so sturdy bones enrichment toys and chews are a must. Pixie is a loving happy girl who is looking for a committed home ready to give her the exercise guidance and companionship she needs to thrive. All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough.
