Story
Xena, born 10/23/15, is a female mix weighing around 20 lbs who is housebroken/pee pad trained and crate trained. Xena loves attention and being with her people as their lap dog. Xena has had 3 weeks board and train with a trainer. The trainer is available for Xena's lifetime to help her adopter if needed. (if you are not local, he is available via Facetime) We do not recommend small children. She is as loyal as they come! She is quite happy with one person and does not need an active home. She would be best with someone who spends most of their time at home. Xena is dog neutral but would do best as the only dog in the home. We have not had her around cats, so cats are unknown.Xena's adoption fee is $150 She is fully vetted. If you want to meet Xena with hopes to make her part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.htmlYou can visit our website at theroadhomeanimalproject.org

Story
Harry is a 30 lb, terrier mix, born 9/11/23 who loves EVERYONE that he meets! He is super energetic and the life of the party! He was enrolled in our "cell dog" training program to learn some basic commands. He is still working on house training and crate training. He does well with other dogs and with people! We think he would love a home with older children and another young dog to play with and wear him out! He can walk 4-6 miles a day so if you are a walker or hiker, he can keep up with you. He is a very high energy fun loving pup. Harry's adoption fee is $300.00 which includes his neuter, vaccines (including DHLPPC, Kennel Cough, Lyme disease, Rabies), deworming, heartworm/lyme testing (negative), Microchipping with lifetime registration and cell dog training. If you want to meet Harry with hopes to make him part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. *Note: Ideally, ALL members of the family (canine and human alike) should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed.
